Good service and helpful staff despite delivery pangs.

Website is easy to use, and ordering was straightforward. A helpful gentleman called Adam, who confirmed stock and delivery times and sorted out prompt dispatch of the Eq3 mount.

Sadly, and with resignation, due to DPD failure, no delivery on time. Took about 4 hours to find this out, which, whilst it wasn't the supplier's fault, meant I had to notify them of this as DPD had gone for a siesta. Meaning, communication wasn't as smooth as hoped.
That said, Adam was apologetic and refunded the priority delivery fee.

4 stars in lieu of 5 due to DPD's failure, but will use again.

Excellent service. I paid the balance on a preorder at 3:30pm, and the item arrived at 9am the next day.

I had a long list of questions about a new rig I was looking at buying and Adam patiently was able to explain to me how it would work together and complement my existing setup. When it came to ordering, delivery was swift and on one occasion a price match was fulfilled without hesitation. And response times to emails are excellent. I have no hesitation recommending the team at RVO.

I asked if I could exchange a camera I had purchased from them, around 8 weeks ago. received two days after the agreement, well packed. They kindly obliged. very helpful and honest staff online. I would highly recommend them, you would be in safe hands.

Discovered this shop when I was searching online for a harness for my Swarovski binoculars. Checked with them that they had stock and placed my order early Tuesday afternoon, arrived 24 hours later. Free delivery and they will price match. Excellent service.

Spot on, great company to deal with, i ordered a Dwarf mini on the Saturday, didn't hear anything so called them, they stated that the item was out stock but would do everything they could to get it to me for the Friday and they did with a hand written note apologising for the delay.

This is how customer service should be, 100 % !!!!

Ordered a Dwarf Mini on a Friday afternoon, not expecting to see it until Tuesday or Wednesday. It actually arrived late Sunday afternoon. Absolutely first class service and the price was as good as any out there.

Absolutely first class service from these guys. I'm off on holiday this Friday and wanted to place an order in the hope it would arrive in time for me to take with me. I first contacted RVO to check stock availability and thos was confirmed within 15 minutes. I placed my order and emailed them the order number and they replied telling me they would make sure it was despatched that same day. Sure enough, DPD have just arrived with my order with three days to spare. Top marks RVO - this was my first order and it certainly won't be my last!!

Fantastic service from Rother Valley Optics from start to finish.

I had an issue with my original telescope, and the team handled everything professionally and efficiently. Communication was excellent throughout, and the replacement scope arrived without any problems. I’ve now had the chance to test it and everything is working perfectly.

My reducer has also arrived, and I’m very happy with the whole experience. It’s reassuring to buy expensive astrophotography equipment from a company that genuinely looks after its customers when something doesn’t go quite right.

Excellent customer service and a company I would happily buy from again. Highly recommended!

I was looking to up date my current set up to enable me to take pictures of the night sky. I emailed RVO and the advice given was excellent, helpful and free coming.
Following that I placed an order on the Friday evening, with an expectation of receiving my new purchase on Tuesday, only for them to turn up on Sunday!!
Overall a great experience and a well deserved 5 star rating.

I ordered a SeeStar S30 Pro, a tripod and mount at 2pm on Saturday afternoon and received them today at 10am. It was really well packed and everything was in order.

This is the first time I've used Rother Valley Optics, I'm very impressed with the service they have provided. It seem like the only thing they can't help you with is clear skies.

If you need anything to do with astronomy or Optics, I would most definitely recommend that you give Adam and his team a call.

I just was looking for a special rare astro camera. But in Germany, the delivery service takes about four months. Thats why i was crossing the border on internet to UK and i hot it immediately: perfect and super fast service by Rother Valley Optics. I’ve nothing but praise for Rother Valley Optics. From the first contact to receiving my NL Pure binoculars, the service was first class. The price, communication, speed of delivery were fantastic (I ordered the binoculars on a Tuesday afternoon around 4pm and received them on Thursday morning at 9.15am - and delivery was free) My binoculars were well packaged and protected too.

The order arrived the very next day via DPD courier and was extremely well packaged, ensuring everything arrived safely and securely.

The newer ZWO 30mm f/5 guide scope appears to be a noticeable improvement over the older 30mm f/4 version. The ASIAIR was updated and tested without any issues and is working perfectly.
