They sent me rubbish instead of 12 expensive batteries. When I second reclaimed they wrote me a lot of lies. I provide them all documents but result was just nonsent communication with AI assistant with sign of real person. STOLEN MONEY!

Farnell shipped me 10,000 off part code 474-8777. This sticker stating code and details of the correct part were placed onto the reel and shipped to us back at the start of June.

After encountering some problems with one of the boards we built - it transpired that farnell had shipped a completely different part - but stuck the correct sticker on it.

It's been a complete nightmare - it's cost us a lot of money in rework costs and time, and FEC's attitude is we will replace the reel but charge you for it until we get the old reel back - but they couldn't care less about the negative impact this has had.

I'd strongly recommend checking all incoming stock from FEC against what it should actually be.

Paid for next day delivery, didn't receive it. Wasn't even processed until after it was supposed to arrive, then took another 3 days to arrive, forcing me to wait around, and no response from support about the refund for the cost of my express delivery.

I did ordered some parts for electronics, but one order i did on march had an error while doing a payment. So i did not continue. After few days I made another order for different parts that was succesfull. I got the parts and was happy about it. But then after 3 months you just charged me for the order that was not payed and sent me the parts that i did not need anymore. Igot confused why after 3 months you still charged me for the order that was not payed? I thought it was cancelled because of failed payment. And I wish it wound have ben this way.

You only delivered part of our ordered things.

This company is a scam. They portray themselves as an English company being established for years and years when in fact they’re from China The goods take weeks to come and when they do arrive they’re absolute rubbish cheap and nasty products. The return policy is non-existent. You have to return your product to China and pay for the postage. They need reporting to trading standards. Please do not buy from this company.

When we shop on line it always says 'In Stock' when get the order there is aways a delay in 50% of the order.

This company has misled me despite giving me an assurance that they did not import hats from China. They do and I have reported to trading standards.

Items have not been delivered but received a delivered notice.

I own a business, and my employees asked me to order two plumbing fittings for a chiller. Luckily, I already had an account with Farnell, so I placed the order.

Nothing happened.

Apparently, my account had been suspended due to inactivity. I couldn't simply reactivate it - I had to resubmit pages of company information all over again. After doing that, I was told the approval process would take a few working days and that I would be notified by email.

I contacted them and asked whether I could just purchase the fittings without an account. After all, the total value was about €5.

The answer was no.

A few days later, my account was finally approved. However, I then discovered that my original order was still on hold because I was apparently required to place a completely new order.

So I placed the order again.

The next day, I received another email informing me that the order was on hold because they needed me to complete a Know Your Customer (KYC) questionnaire - even though they are neither a bank nor a financial institution.

I have already paid for the order. It has now been almost two weeks, and I still have no idea when - or if- I will ever receive two €5 plumbing fittings.

Stay as far away from this company as possible, unless you're a bureaucrat with a passion for endless paperwork and administrative masochism.

Absolutely useless company. Their website has so many bugs I had to screen shot and list all their defects. It took me 6 months to get these products, because of a glitch in their system where an old trade account stopped me from purchasing on a debit card. Then it is impossible to change the invoice address. Finally they use UPS who are useless and lazy - they couldn't be bothered trying to deliver it to my address (I was in all afternoon waiting for the goods, my office is next to the door) so they just took it to the drop-off centre in a nearby shop. They now also have no contact centre in UK so are left speaking to someone who hardly speaks English and knows nothing of the business. What a shame. It used to be a good company.

Absolutely the worst website ever. As an electronics engineer, its my last resort. The website never works correctly. I spend weeks with their tech people trying to fix the website issues last year, and it still sucks. The basket save/load function is entirely broken. I just gave up on a £1400 order and went elsewhere. SORT IT OUT!

Item dispatched and delivered quickly. Poorly packed. Item was delivered damaged. No response to email (36 hours). Phoned customer services. No apology. Form sent to complete. No response to completed form (24 hours).

I ordered a chip for the powersupply of my machine worth 15k, I paid for EXPRESS NEXT DAY DELIVERY, because its extremely urgent. Its now the next day, they haven't even processed my order!

Consistently send out wrong or incomplete orders. Really poor. I'm now chasing up a 3rd incomplete order which they claim was complete. I will not use Farnell again. Strongly advise you do the same.

The worst online purchase experience as a company. slow and extremely complex workflows which frustrated me and in the end I gave up upon my order there.
They even didn't allow me to pay for my order by card :)))

I ordered an air duster from their Hungarian site. The tracking page was "under maintenance" for several weeks and my package was not delivered, so I asked the customer service about it. My Hungarian mail was answered in English (not an issue for me, though rude). They said UPS was unable to deliver, the package is being redirected to their repo, they will contact me later. I never got any notifications from UPS... Waited another 2 weeks, wrote again, and they lied that the price I prepaid was not deducted from my account. Also they have not even mentioned that they want still deliver it or not. I had to pressure them to refund me within 5 business days, sent my bank's receipt and threatened them with bank chargeback, formal complaints towards consumer protection authorities, mass bad reviews... They paid me back after ~10 business days. F them.
