I HAVE BEEN scammed, I got the car insurance on 15th July cancelled my policy on 17 July. now I have been charged £150 just for a service charge!! no one explained that to me when I got the policy over the phone now I have been charged £150 just for a service charge !!! I would recommend the company to no one to get car insurance with!!! now I have lost £150 cant believe it!!

I wanted to change the named driver on my car insurance policy. The lady agent who dealt with my request was polite efficient and very helpful.

Had a good experience with Endsleigh until my renewal quote arrived and was over £100 more than last year! I expected they would find the cheapest quote possible but no! I found a quote half the price that Endsleigh quoted and when I called to tell them I had found cheaper the nice girl on the phone told me they wouldn’t be able to match it!

I was disappointed with the online options available to amend my policy/account. The only way to make amendments seemed to be by making a phone call.
I was also disappointed that to make a simple change to my policy incurred a £30 admins fee.
The phone operator I spoke to was polite and helpful which is reflected in my rating.

My call was answered quickly and my issue dealt with well

I wasn't that happy with the insurance as it was overpriced and went up too much in my third year, despite not having made any claims, so I cancelled. In addition when I nearly made a claim the staff were not that helpful and it was unclear how the item would get repaired. I ended up having to do everything myself and never went ahead with the claim. It seems as though they increase the premium a lot even if you don't make a claim. I tried a legal expenses claim and it was rejected.

Charged £50 to get out of a home insurance policy due to the fact that I had bought a house, which seems ridiculous considering that its around 3-4 months of cover on my current premium. Never claimed in my 2.5 years with them but really quick to then charge me to leave. I wont be using them again in the future.

Endsleigh is the worst insurance provider that I had ever come across. Since March till June 2021 I was asking Endsleigh for sending me a green car to travel. I sent a lot of emails and called them daily without any responses. The stress that I had at the time can't be explained, I had to change the date of my travel and family holiday plus changing to another insurance company who sent me the green card the next day without any issues or further requests. On top of that because of Endsleigh I had to pay extra and no one has even said sorry to me. For me Endsleigh is the worst insurance and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I bought a friend's car and he was somewhat surprised to hear I had difficultly getting cover at a reasonable price.
he said '..it is group 5 and insurance was under £1,000...'
the cc is the same and it has modern electronic locking.
ie when you away from the car it automatedly locks itself. No reasons were given as to why even them thought the price was high. I have been with Endsleigh for about 20 years or so but I am thinking of trying a local broker who I can talk to face to face next time.

Olivia provided an excellent service- both polite and efficient- and was a credit to your organisation. Not only did she handled my insurance renewal, she went out of her way at the end of the call to help me with an online log-in issue.

The call handler was very helpful, and had a lovely accent. She made the transaction very easy and was quick, efficient and polite. A delightful service.

I noticed an error in my renewal documents and phoned to correct it. On hold for 25 minutes before I spoke to a human being! The error involved changing the policy wording from "second floor" to "above second floor". For this I was charged an admin fee of £30 !!!!!! Outrageous rip off. I will be changing insurers!

Buyer beware and read the T&C's. We were unlucky enough to have to scrap our car due a fault. We were just 2 months of our insurance expiring and having paid ten months of premium up to this happening only owed just over £20. We were told to cancel the policy we would have to pay £75. We feel this is disproportionate and unfair. They would not budge on a cancellation fee even though they could not justify it. Terrible customer service and unfair charges.

The lady on the phone was very polite and help , nothing I asked was to much trouble

No customer loyalty. Never had a claim yet my policy went from £181 to £253. Was gob smacked as my car is only worth £200 according to their ready reckoner.
So was a no brainer to accept RAC like for like policy for £120!

I have been ringing use as couple of days to pay my insurance and I’m on hold for 15 minutes at a time as I’m at work all day I can only ring on my break so it is a disaster

My renewal quote for home insurance contents doubled in a year. Couldn't match other quotes I had through Compare the Market.
