After been a customer for a year I would have expected better service for motor insurance. Everyone knows the value of a car decreases considerable once it’s done certain mileage, therefore insurance premiums should come done E.g. from £36 to £26 your how’re went from £36 to £61. When queried was told it’s loan company and that they didn’t think car depreciated in value and if it did it wasn’t their decision to tell you it had or by how much. I found this rather disgusting. Also I was told that the only loan quote you could get, amazing I can go online and get quote for as little as £20 p.m so obviously they out to make money from poor hard working , single parent like myself and probably by thinking women are ignorant and will just pay. If you continue with this attitude won’t be surprised you lose more customers, and costumers lose confidence in you. Thank you.

Spent over an hour on hold, to then be passed around different people who then told me to call back another time. I’m sorry but this is useless. Very disappointing.

We have just been charged with not having insurance when it had been insured and paid for three weeks ago. There was no Certificate of Insurance either sent through the post or on line. The police computer showed it to be uninsured. Also, it states on the site that only £34 was paid for the insurance! This has never happened to us before by any other insurer

Where did you go I was having trouble with my emails then all of a sudden I'm no longer insured...thank you very much Endsleigh you can stick your review right up there !!!!!

My policy covers very little and costs £87 to cover just laptops up to £1000 and any accidental damage that may occur to my possessions.
To change your plan you need to either spend a long time on the phone or attempt the chat.
The only way to cancel is to ring or use the online chat - where the agent's will then spend a long time trying to convince you all you need is to change the policy to something more expensive.
At the very least there should be the option to cancel your policy online...

My monthly insurance cost £115 with a black box, this was for a 1.0 litre Kia Picanto 57 plate. I then went to cancel my insurance due to selling the car, they asked for £75 cancellation fee. Which I thought was already steep, they then told me I’d have to pay £150 in non refundable add-ons. One customer service advisor said I had already paid the £150 when I set up the policy, and another told me this was incorrect and also informed me I wouldn’t be refunded for the few weeks of the month that my insurance was cancelled and instead be charged £30.44.

Absolutely shocking!! Do not go with this company! We have cancelled our car insurance after we sold the car and one minute someone says yes you’ll get a refund for half of the monthly amount witch was £115 and today I woke up and they took another £30 when we don’t even have a car anymore no refunds or nothing!
Misleading information from different agents! Shocking!
Don’t ever insure your car with this company pure robbery!

It's simple to update your policy online and the customer service is excellent. I am staying with Endsleigh!

My son had a student policy with them. Tried to cancel when he moved back home and it is virtually impossible. Phone line is not answered and as another reviewer mentioned you cannot cancel online. By the time he was able to speak to someone another two months premiums were due which were then pursued aggressively by Premium Credit who handles Endsleigh's financial agreements. Absolute scam.

No claims, wants to hike renewal by over 33%. lol insurers are a joke but this one takes the Mick. GoCompare!

Tried to cancel the auto renew over the phone, which is the only was to cancel it and they couldn't take my call due to "circumstances beyond our control we can not help you". So what do I do now? I can't login and cancel it because there is no option to do so, I can't call them up, so basically this whole company is a huge scam. I do not recommend to anyone trying to buy student insurance for gadgets.

Good customer service, but the price varied wildly between a quote I received over the phone and I quote I received online (£200+ difference). The agent however was very kind and helpful and honoured the lower priced quote. Wish I didn’t have to wait so long to speak with someone, but overall happy with the result.

Mortgage Required have done an amazing job! It was so simple, they did all the hard work. I can not fault them. A special shout out to Bethany Clawson & Craig Head. So lovely to deal with and made everything a great experience!

beware the auto renewal and be prepared to be using your lunch break to sort your account.
get an email from the no reply address following cancellation of the direct debit saying that if i dont pay up then ill be transferred to debt collection and be paying extra. great thing is that they give no instructions on how you actually pay them and only contact is through a 9-5 phone line. looks like my lunch break will be spent listening to hold music, thank you endsleigh.

Following the death of my father I contacted Endsleigh inform then as he had landlord insurance and a currently tenanted property. This is obviously a more complex issue and I had expected to be moved from department to department, however, this was not the case. The lady I spoke to was fantastic (sorry for getting the spelling wrong, Shaminza) not only was she well informed and professional, she was very compassionate. She made sure that I only had to deal with her to save me going through the difficult conversation about the death of my father. She called me multiple times, checking information and updating me with the progress. This was clearly beyond her job remit and something she did because she cared.
I cannot praise her care and compassion highly enough.

I've been with Endsleigh for several years, but last year the quote to renew car insurance was too high - they did reduce it by over £100 when I phoned, but when the difference, this year, was £471 from Endsleigh and £206.50 from AA, I cancelled Endsleigh! Do shop around!!

Needed to change the vehicle on my policy. The lady that I spoke to sorted it out very quickly and very efficiently. Very helpful and knew exactly what to do to get the issue resolved. I will definitely recommend Endsleigh to anyone looking for insurance.
