Nile river with style
We loved our trip! The itinerary was well organized and the guide was very informative and friendly. The food in the cruise ship was excellent and the quality of the cabins were excellent.

Essam Elsayed you are ROCKIN’ AWESOME!!!
Essam Elsayed was our tour guide and I would recommend him to EVERYONE! He was extremely knowledgeable about each and every location site we visited as well as other sites we asked about. He was very friendly, generous with his time, and accommodated our group with genuine care and hospitality. He was a good listener and made sure we got what we were looking for, ie specialty spices, drinks, souvenirs, and foods. He also treated our group to icecream! His service was definitely over and beyond what we ever dreamed it would be. Essam, thank you for the experience of a lifetime!

We had a great tour here in Cairo and Alexandria. The drivers were excellent. The tour guide Essam Elsayed waseas personable, knowledgable, and really in tune to the needs of our group, he knew when we wanted more history and when we wanted to move on. All the food choices were awsome as well. A very good value for the money we spent! Thanks!

Waleed Alsamann was also awesome during our cruise and day in Luxor. He has a lot of knowledge and was able to answer all of our questions throughout our tour!

This was a perfect tour with our perfect guide
This was a perfect tour from beginning to end. Every detail was planned out and made for an amazing Egypt adventure. The best part of the trip was our guide Essam Alsayed. He was extremely knowledgeable and kind and helpful and we could not have asked for anyone better. In fact if we come back he must be our guide. The meals were excellent. The person who repeatedly answered my email questions was fantastic and we really can find nothing negative to say. Thank you Egypt Tours Portal for making our trip one to remember!!

We had a great experience with Hassan…
We had a great experience with Hassan Ali during our Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor. He was extremely knowledgeable about ancient Egyptian history and local culture, and explained everything in a way that was both interesting and easy to understand.
What we appreciated most was how much he knew about the history behind each temple and site we visited. He helped us understand not just the historical significance, but also the stories and cultural traditions behind them, which made the whole experience much more meaningful.
We would highly recommend Hassan to anyone visiting Egypt. Having a knowledgeable guide like him really makes a difference to your trip!

Fantastic tour guide
Mahmoud Gamal was a fantastic tour guide for our 4 night/ 5 day cruise from Luxor to Aswan. He listened and tailored our trips to what we wanted. Very knowledgable about all the sites we visited with interesting historic information and facts. He didn’t over do it and gave us plenty of time to explore ourselves. We only had 6 in our group and it worked perfectly. We even managed to have Mahmoud to ourselves on the last day for a private tour before being dropped off in the Nubian village for our last night. For 2 females travelling together we also felt very safe. Thank you so much for an amazing experience.

One excellent guide but punishing schedule
We had a knowledgeable and charming guide who had studied egyptology, Hoda, for Aswan and Abu Simbel. Organisation was generally good but unrealistic scheduling (two 4am starts) was too much. Cairo airport on leaving is awful, multiple security checks by rude, officious yet ineffective jobsworths. Allow at least 3 hours to get through! Hotels OK but Tolip in Aswan is tired and all hotel staff generally don’t seem to care.

We’re also sorry to hear that some aspects of your hotel stays, particularly at Tolip Aswan, did not meet your expectations, and that your departure experience at Cairo Airport was frustrating. We will also take your comments about the hotel facilities and service into consideration as we continue evaluating the quality of our arrangements.

The guides by far the best, very kind and very passionate about the story of Egypt, they really want you to enjoy both the view and the history of the amazing places you visit. Also they make you feel completely safe everywhere you go. Special thanks to Mohammed and Ahmed, our guides that made our experience in Egypt unforgettable. The tour is very comfortable in terms of transport, they take you everywhere in a comfortable van, through the tours, and between the hotel and airports.

Absolutely incredible!!
Absolutely incredible! It’s Egypt so how can you not loved it?!? We have the best tour guide in Cairo! Reham took group pictures, knew the best way to beat the crowd but still provided wonderful history and what felt like a custom tour! We also love Walled in Aswan and Luxor. Definitely way slow place in those cities so I might book more things next time but I loved Luxor busy-ness and the Philae temple tour

I was in Egypt for 10 days
I was in Egypt for 10 days, travelling through Cairo, Aswan, Luxor and Hurghada with this company and I have to say it was the best 10 days of my life !!!!
I felt like a kid in an Indiana Jones movie. The staff were outstanding, from management to logistics, drivers and tour guides.
However I have to highlight the two tour guides that showed me the wonders of Egypt:
- Mr. Hussein El Mouneir
- Mr. Beeko Alfayed
Their passion and knowledge was contagious, it was unbelievable. Always with a smile on their faces explaining every detail behind every inch of Egyptian History and always proactive regarding my safety and comfort throughout the all trip.
If you are booking a trip with Egypt Portal Tours, I highly recommend you request this two gentleman, they are outstanding.
This trip changed my life and it was so transformative, that I'm coming back in the next two years for a deeper dive into the culture.
Once again, if you want to go to Egypt don't settle for average, chose excellence, chose Egypt Portal Tours 🙏😁
