I ordered a Simonelli Oscar 2 on the 1st August Order number 83650.
This company is a scam!
Please don't go through the same thing I've just gone through.
They strung me along for 2 and half months, promising that my machine would be delivered soon. Telling me it was on a container on its way to Australia. After a month and a half, I was told the container was here and my product would be dispatched soon. That was never going to happen! When I next spoke to them, they said the container was arriving next week!! I'd already been told it had arrived. They couldn't even keep their story straight. I realised after two and a half months that I had been scammed. So I put in a dispute with PayPal for $1520. Luckily I received my money back after paypal ruled in my favour. After I received my money I ordered the same machine through Coffee Parts and it arrived within the week! As it should. Do yourself a favour, order from them instead.

Do not buy anything from this company!!!! Paid 1400 for a coffee grinder…. No Grinder ….NO refund …..still waiting !!!!!

I placed on order for hard to source Bialetti coffee pods on Thursday 12th October 2023 and thru the chat option was advised by the "bot" that it would be delivered by Monday 16th October.
A phone call to the Coffee Beanery 1300 number confirmed the delivery time and that a fresh shipment had just arrived.True to their word the pods arrived this morning.

This company is a scam, don’t even try purchasing from them. No product delivered, no customer service, no refund provided. I’ve lost more than $3000 on this piece of sh**.
No doubt he’ll reply fake review on this like he has on all the other 1 star posts but please ignore it.
The owner appears to have some mental health issues going on & has zero care for his customers or their money.

My name is Andrew just wrote on honest review on herE and the owner flagged it instead of answering my calls and then he wrote a fake review as “John” straight after mine saying “ he got his machine in a week fake reviews are totally fake” this guy is pathetic. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK

Was a bit thrown by some of the negative reviews I’d read here after I had placed my order with them. But Josh from Coffee Beanery gave me a reassuring call they have fulfilled my order and it had been dispatched. Received the goods I had ordered within 2 business days of speaking with Josh - all in good and new condition. All in all I’m happy with my experience and product purchased.

Lost 1 start because it took 1 week longer than the eta for postage. Plus communication could have been better. The coffee machine I purchased was a factory 2nd, very happy with the machine.

UPDATE 3: So we took action through NCAT against the Company and the Director (who is obviously trading insolvent). He admitted fully that we are owed a refund, despite saying here that he has never heard of us. The Tribunal Member stated that he has breached the Consumer Law and ordered that he refund us immediately. He requested payment by instalments of $500 per week due to cash flow issues.... again, proof of trading insolvent despite his nonsense that he has run this successful business for 13 years. As expected, he has made 1 payment and then gone into radio silence again. I sincerely wish more people would read these reviews prior to visiting his business website.
UPDATE 2: What a crock! You know exactly who this is because you refuse to take my calls. I have a paid invoice (number 203276) dated 17 July 2023 for a Megacrem Compact Coffee Machine and a Mazzer Mini Grinder for $4049. This was ordered by a not-for-profit small rugby union club in Currumbin Queensland who simply cannot afford to lose this kind of money.
Your company lied to Fair Trading about processing a refund but they have said that they will follow up to make sure the refund is received. I welcome any person who doubts my review to email me at accounts at alleygators.com.au for a copy of our invoice and full payment.

UPDATE: The Office of Fair Trading spoke with the company and they have forwarded the information to their accounts department to organise a refund. This was over 2 weeks ago, and we still have not been contacted.

Purchased and paid for a coffee machine and grinder 5 weeks ago and cannot get in contact with the owner or anyone else to arrange a refund. When purchasing, I advised it was for a business premises so we wanted it promptly but we have never ever received any communication or correspondence now that they have received our payment. We are a not-for-profit sporting club and we don't have thousands of dollars to spare. We have also attempted contact via the online chat - nothing. The only way to get in touch is to ring from another number but now he just hangs up. I don't know if we will ever receive a refund but we are hoping the Office of Fair Trading can help!

I have just received a very dirty machine and switched on the Delongi coffee machine and the coffee grinder does not work! I have emailed them and called several times, finally got through and told you email them but they are not responding. I will be going to the ombudsman on this issue. I am a genuine customer, this is not a fake review. Giving a negative review is my very last resort to warn people. You are better off spending a bit more money and going to a retailer

This company has just commenced winding up of business according to ASIC.

Section 459P of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (“Corporations Act“) says that a creditor can apply to the Court for a company to be wound up in insolvency.)

Edit: thank you for the reply, I would highly suggest contacting your customers to advise of this change, supplying the goods and or offering refunds.

Complete Scam! Made over $5000 payment for a vending machine that was never sent. 6 months later and they have not refunded my money. Stay away!

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM COFFEEBEANERY AUSTRALIA. Complete scam. We paid the required invoice in Oct 2022 and the machine was promised to be delivered in November 2022. We kept on following up and till date we have not received the machine and they are also no processing the refund. ZERO correspondence from their side. We keep calling and sending email but no response. Zero stars. Very disappointed.

I don’t normally bother writing reviews but I’ve made an exception in this case. After researching online for the machine I wanted to buy (Isomac Pro dual boiler), I had some questions so called the 1800 number for Coffee Beanery. I ended up purchasing my coffee machine then and there over the phone. After the purchase, I then read plenty of negative reviews which had me really concerned.
I made a couple of phone calls to follow up and wasn’t filled with confidence of a good outcome.
BUT, exactly three weeks to the day after my purchase, my coffee machine arrived. It took longer than I expected and that had me worried. To be fair, it does say there are shipping delays on the website.
Coffee Beanery was the best priced option quite comfortably. So although it took longer to arrive than I expected I’m a happy customer. I got a beautiful machine at the best price I could find. Thumbs up!

We ordered a coffee machine and grinder from this business. We were promised for the delivery within 2 weeks of our order and payment. It has now been 4 weeks with no delivery made. We have emailed and called multiple times to get a follow up on the status of the order and we have received no communication on our order.

This is not a fake review. Please review your records as this relates to invoice INV-203178, with payment made on 30/03/2023. It is disappointing that you have time to reply to reviews online and not provide communication to a customer.

Don't buy from this company.
First I bought a machine which was apparently refurbished. Clearly did not state this on the add at the time. Machine was filthy and faulty.
Terrible communication when tried to return, then received the same item a 2nd time. Them asked for a refund which I eventually got. 6 months later my issue/complain was finally dealt with and completed. Worst experience ever.
My advice is strongly stay away

I don't usually leave reviews but I wanted to say something positive as there are some pretty negative reviews of the Coffee Beanery. Firstly I did have to wait longer than I was expecting but the Coffee Machine I ordered arrived last week, its a beautiful machine and I love it and the colour we chose. After ordering I discovered a lot of negative reviews and was nervous so called the owner, he always took my call and kept me up to date. Obviously, I was worried because after a month the machine was still being painted and tested. Any hoo it arrived as explained to me. I can't speak for others but my experience was fine if a little slower than I would have liked. But it was worth the wait, the machine is a little beauty!

I am really pleased to report an amazing buying experience with Coffee Beanery.

We contacted them a week ago to ask for advise on a new rather expensive home coffee machine that we wanted to buy, they were extremely helpful to say the least.

We placed our order and within a few days our beautiful new coffee machine and grinder were delivered.

They also sent us some complimentary Superior Blend coffee beans to start our new home coffee experience.
