I paid $2,900 for a coffee machine and grinder from CoffeeBeanery.com.au and never received the goods. I’ve seen other reviews online suggesting this happened to multiple people.

Report the fraud more effectively to Police and ASIC

Gather evidence to support potential group action or class reporting

If you were also affected, please do not share your personal details publicly — just need to somehow get all the people affected together to build a strong case against this person.

Just got a reply from him saying another fake review. Wow I'm fake but can provide you all the evidence and can show my receipt from you. Stop stealing money from us and supply the good we paid for!!! If you don't have a customer by that name, here is my invoice that I've paid fully.

I ordered coffee from these people and it has not arrived. They told me by email they would look into it but they haven’t been back in touch. I fear that now after a month that I won’t see the coffee. Scam

Avoid at all costs! Have ordered a coffee grinder which has not been sent after 1 month. They have gone silent now I am chasing a refund. Total scammer!

It is a scam. Absolute hack! They invoiced from Coffee Machines Beans & Service. He didn't respond to fair trading so they are stating there is nothing they can do.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS - I PURCHASED A MACHINE IN FEB, NEVER TURNED UP. DESPITE MULTIPLE CALLS AND CHASES. SAID THEY WOULD GIVE ME A REFUND 3 WEEKS AGO NOTHING.

A Cautionary Tale – My Worst Online Shopping Experience

I’ve purchased many items online over the years, but my experience with Coffee Beanery Company has been, by far, the worst.

I ordered a bar fridge on the 9th of January 2025, and as of 7th April 2025, not only has the fridge not been delivered, but I’ve also received no proactive communication from the company whatsoever.

I made multiple phone calls, only to be met with a string of excuses. Eventually, my calls were completely ignored—until I used a different number, which, unsurprisingly, got answered. That alone says a lot about how they handle customer service.

If you’re considering buying from this company, do yourself a favour: spend a little extra elsewhere and at least have peace of mind that your item will arrive and that you'll be treated with basic respect as a customer.

Avoid Coffee Beanery Company. I certainly will from now on.

Avoid this scumbag, same person will answer the phone for sales, tech and delivery. They will keep on promising to deliver your order, and had been doing that for 3 months, and after had enough i requested for refund, and had not answered any of my calls after that. Please search coffeebeanery in fairtrading.nsw.gov.au which is due to same numerous complaints in this company. BEWARE! Just call him now and same person will answer! He is a total scumbag. He even has the audacity to answer all the complaints here in trust pilot. What a total scumbag

Have purchased from this company before and recieved a machine with little hassle. Second time placing and order and what a disaster. Have been waiting for an order of 4 machines since mid 2024. Have recieved no update on correspondence. All attempts at phone calls and emails go un answered. Do not deal with this company as they will take your money and provide you nothing in return. Have asked for a refund and got nothing back.

I don't understand how this business is permitted to operate. Purchased over 1 week ago. No email to advise dispatch, no response to phone calls or emails. Raised dispute with PayPal. I wish I had read reviews prior to purchasing. Absolute scam!!

Update: I was contacted today and advised that the item I purchased is not in stock and due in sometime next week. I was also advised that as a business, they don't answer phone calls, everything is conducted via email. Why then offer a phone number with 3 options is beyond me! I was also advised that the money I paid had been now deducted from their account which was a blatant lie as PayPal have given them until the 14 March to respond to my dispute.

I wish I'd seen these reviews before placing my order. Product was available online for purchase but was ultimately not available due to an inventory mistake. After a lot of timely following up for a refund, which was supposedly sent to their accounts department for processing, I did not trust they would honour the refund owed and ultimately contacted my bank to dispute the charge (which they did successfully).

NSW Fair Trade has recommended consumers avoid this company and I urge potential customers to heed this advice.

For anyone trying to get their refund, contact your bank ASAP!

The negative feedback here is completely legitimate so please be warned - don't buy the whole "fake reviews/competitors" rhetoric and don't buy from this company. Competitors don't need to leave fake reviews when their service speaks for itself!

NSW Fair Trading Commissioner, Ms Natasha Mann, has today warned consumers not to deal with Coffee Beanery Group Australia Pty Ltd and the website

Dishonesty is their trademark.

I initially left a one-star review because that was the lowest rating available, but Coffee Beanery truly deserves negative stars.

After ordering a $595 coffee machine six months ago, I never received tracking details, updates, or even a realistic timeframe for delivery. Calls were dodged, excuses were endless, and any attempt at getting real answers was met with deflection.
After months of chasing, I was given a small glimmer of hope when they claimed they were sending my invoice details to their "accounts team" for a refund—though at this point, I’m convinced that team doesn’t exist. Unsurprisingly, six months later, I still have no refund, no coffee machine, and no response to my follow-up emails.

It’s appalling that a business can take customers’ money and fail to deliver the product, then still try to claim they aren’t a scam. The pattern is obvious: they take your money and hope you either give up or forget, so they can pocket it without fulfilling orders.

Avoid this company at all costs. If you've been affected, don't let them get away with it—keep following up, report them, and warn others.

I would give zero if I could. These guys are a 100% SCAM. ordered a brand new coffee machine last year and been around 8months but not delivered and we were given same reasons of delay in delivery. They refused to give a refund claiming the money was paid to the supplier. Till today no machine is delivered and now they have even stopped taking our calls. We paid a big amount and this company just scamming people and nothing is getting done. That’s our hard earned money which he took away in minutes. We never knew about his scams and can only warn people. If you’re reading this coffee Beanery, stolen money will never help you go far. Your days will come.
