I've recently opened my own LTD co and am using Brookson one as my accountancy partner. Marrianne Birchall has taken me through the onboarding process, setting me up on there portal, helping me issue my first invoices/expenses and explaining my responsibilities as a company director. She's been very helpful with my queries and getting me up to speed with how to I need to operate my business to give me as little future headaches as possible.

To begin this review, I have to reflect on my past relationship with Brookson. I have been a Brookson customer, on and off, for over twenty years. I've watched them morph into their new skin and, most amazingly, the people who work for Brookson have remained consistently amazing. They are human beings in every aspect of human interaction: friendly, engaging, helpful, respectful and, in a couple of words, totally charming!
On Monday, I had my first annual Financial Wellbeing Review; my bank doesn't even do these! Kandy Holmes was my first point of contact. She called and emailed me to discuss my availability for the review, explaining what it was all about and even laughing at my corny dad jokes, bless her! Appointment booked and in the diary.
A few days before my appointment, Kandy reached out to check whether everything was still copacetic for my meeting with Karl Pryce. I confirmed that it was, but ten minutes later I called back to ask for the appointment to be rearranged due to a work clash. No problem whatsoever. Kandy even offered me an appointment that same afternoon because of a cancellation. I declined, and the appointment was rescheduled.
Monday afternoon, 4 o'clock. Karl called and my review began. Like Kandy, Karl is a genuinely splendid human being. Our rapport felt as though I was talking with a colleague whom I enjoy being around and have great respect for. We discussed my financial situation, with Karl answering my many naïve questions with good grace and patience. He provided sound, informed advice to help me consider how to proceed along a healthy financial path and what I should be thinking about further down the road.
Most of us are quite oblivious when it comes to money, taxes, savings and all the various aspects that surround these topics. Thankfully, Brookson and the team that make Brookson what it is are ready, willing and able to help us tango through the minefield of personal and business finance.
As stated earlier, I've been on this journey with Brookson for over twenty years. In summary, it's the people who make this a special organisation for me to engage with: Kandy, Karl, Andrea and countless others whom I have had the good fortune to interact with over the years and, most recently, who have inspired me to sit down and write this review instead of getting on with a Project Strategy for Documentation Control!

Alex provided a discovery Fact Finding assement to review what strategy we could lever towards retierment. The current Investment's are doing well 21% YoY rtns, however a shortfal exists so we explored options to improve on the anuity/drawdown and increase the current contributions to meet targets. Thanks for the sound advice.
