I’m doing my first contract role and looked at several umbrella company options. I went with Nasa because provided lots of clear information on their fee and operation structure, and their fees for processing salary sacrifice payments were lower than competitors.

Additionally the teams at Nasa are very responsive and helpful.

I had a very frustrating experience with NASA Umbrella. Their onboarding process is slow and disorganized. Despite providing all the necessary information, it took them over a week to set things up, and they repeatedly asked me to do their administrative work for them. Communication was chaotic, with different staff members giving conflicting or vague updates. I ultimately had to cancel my registration before even starting and requested my data be deleted under GDPR. If you need a reliable provider that respects your time, look elsewhere.

Terrible company - avoid! They sucker you in by waiving SIPP fees, then a few months later E-mailed to say they were going to charge me £20 every month, so £240 a year, for a service that was agreed would be free before I signed a contract with them. Had this been communicated, I would never have signed with them.

"You are correct that I agreed to waive this margin for you at the point of registration, however at no point did I confirm that this margin would be waived for the entirety of your assignment with us. " Very misleading and breach of contract - they clearly don't know what waiving a charge means.

Swapped out of running my own PSC for consultancy work to these guys. So happy with the choice - wasn't sure as I have had some shoddy experiences with umbrellas in the past, but these guys have been fast, friendly and efficient throughout and everything just works exactly as described. So much less faff that handling my own co. Well done NASA team

Absolutely hands down the best payrol company I have used, and I have been through a few!!
The main issue was always around tax offset with expenses with previous companies , and they absolutely nailed this. I would say Nasa have saved me thousands just by doing this correctly.
I can't recommend them enough. Anyone reading this thinking of switching because they are sick of who they are with, for example Brookson one or Paysteam, then don't hesitate. NASA are heads and shoulders above the rest.
