We ordered our tree with great excitement but we received what can only be described as a temu tree. Looking at the photos and description online our tree was very disappointing in person, even after hours of fluffing. Not as described at all.

I then began a return and as the tree was not as described or pictured I was expecting the £15 return to be waived.

This is when I experienced the second issue with Balsam Hill, terrible customer service. Not only does someone different reply each time they don’t read the previous emails. This means I have trails and trials of emails going back and forth trying to say what happened.

They eventually waived the £15 after weeks of emails. I then got my refund with a further £14.99 taken off! I got a different explanation each time as to what this was for and it was not advertised on their website. Some said it was tax, others said it was a return fee (even though the £15 already taken and refunded was).

I’m very glad we returned our tree as was ordered the pre-lit one. If we had any problems in the future it would be very difficult to resolve any issues. They just use template emails and try and move you along.

For a company adverting as a premium brand they provide very poor service and trees that arrive completely different as pictured even after following all instructions.

The tree arrived much earlier than we expected. When we opened it up it was clear a lot of thought had gone into packaging and presentation as, unusually, the box is big enough for the tree without needing an army of strong folk to squeeze it all in. I'm sure that when assembled it will look lovely.

The build quality is excellent and the tree looks very realistic , I've only put it up to check everything was ok but can not wait to see it fully decorated at Christmas.

Finally got my hands on a Balsam Hill Christmas tree - absolutely as beautiful as they say they are - Highly recommended

Balsam Hill are very incompetent. They can’t even advise prospective customers if delivery is included. One says yes it’s free of charge. Another says no it’s £11.99. A huge chain of emails later and all they can say is “Happy Holidays” and refuse to assist. If this is how they behave to potential customers what would happen if the trees developed a fault? My company were going to place an order. However we have decided to shop elsewhere as their customer service staff are extremely unhelpful. Think carefully before ordering from them. Expensive products. Poor experience. Check socials for the ongoing comments from customers unhappy with Balsam Hill.

Beauty and quality is always provided with all balsam hill products. The garlands I purchased were of excellent value and quality just what I wanted.

Ordered Christmas tree and really didn't have to wait long. Came well packaged and I also liked that gloves was supplied for when putting tree up. A bag was also enclosed to store it as well. Can't wait to get a good look at it but time won't be long going in till Christmas.

Too expensive, i ordered a Christmas tree with snow; the snow flakes keep on falling.

Always looked at Balsam Hill and this year we decided to go for it easy to order delivered promptly .Quality of tree very nice we tried it out. pleased with the bag and gloves etc . hoping it will last as long as my last tree which was by another 20years >

The tree is a really quality product much better than cheaper trees. The light wires running
through the trunk is a bonus also.

Its a very realistic looking tree does not look fake

Always wanted a Balsam Hill tree. When I saw one at my friends. It's absolutely exactly as described. And what's more they last years if you take care of them. Cannot fault the tree at all.

So, I have had many trees from BH, The last one arrived with the tree punctured the box and damaged bent, I asked for a replacement part which I have to wait till next year for, eg past Christmas, this is September. I was an offered a 10% refund. Not good enough really
