Autopot System and Company
Purchased the Flexipot system And I could not be happier. Easy to set up if you follow the instructions and I have had no issues whatsoever after 8 weeks of use.
Small problem with the initial purchase that was rectified immediately after a quick phone call to customer services so no problem at all really.
I tend to purchase directly from the Autopot company when they have offers on for example 20% off at Easter. This seems to be cheaper than buying from third party vendors.
Best system I have ever used.

Difficult to provide an overall rating…
Difficult to provide an overall rating because there are some very positive points as well as a limited number of negatives. I have been using autopot in two greenhouses for about 12 years with mainly 6mm supply and some 9mm. This February I replaced one of the greenhouses and took the opportunity to switch everything to 9mm. Your products are generally excellent. They are not cheap but, with quality products and very limited competition, I am not complaining. However, I did find that 3 of the 9mm taps leaked - just as well that I over-ordered! However the main reasons for my mediocre score were, poor communication on progress of my order and the very poor service of your carrier, DHL. On each of my last two (possibly 3) orders, they have promised a delivery slot, I have waited in with my front door open, but they did not arrive, and annoyingly, no on-the-day communication. Checking on their website the next morning, I found that they were still promising to deliver on the previous day, they obviously thought they had cracked time travel! Their website also said they had left a ticket with a reference number that I needed in order to choose 'redelivery' options on-line. For this to have happened once is frustrating but two/three times is indicative of rubbish systems and poor control. Any chance you could include an alternative carrier?

Thank you for your detailed feedback and for being an AutoPot customer for over 12 years, we really appreciate your continued support.
It’s great to hear the systems have served you well overall, and that you’ve upgraded your new greenhouse setup to 9mm throughout. That said, we’re sorry to hear that some of the 9mm taps leaked, as well as about the frustrating delivery experience with DHL and the lack of communication around your order.
We completely understand your frustration, especially after multiple missed delivery slots, and we’ll be sharing your comments with both our production and customer service teams.
Thank you again for the honest and balanced review.

The product is excellent
The product is excellent, and British made which is great. The plastics used are substantial, and in some cases dishwasher safe. The orders all arrived quickly, and one oversight quickly dealt with. I've tried many types of watering system and these are the best. No piping web as with droppers - so quicker to set up. And the critical components are easy to check. I used these last year and they worked well. I think the minimum head for the tank too low, and this year have gone for the maximum as I found little got through to the pot at the end of the line.

Thank you for the detailed review, we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with AutoPot. It’s great to hear you value the quality of the British-made components, the ease of setup, and the reliability of the system compared to other watering methods you’ve tried.
Your feedback regarding tank height and pressure across longer runs is especially helpful. While the minimum recommended head height works in many setups, increasing the reservoir height can certainly improve flow and consistency, particularly on longer lines or more complex layouts. It’s great that you’ve found a setup that works best for your garden this season.
Thanks again for your support and for sharing such useful practical insight for other growers. Happy growing!

AutoPots work, are super durable and customer service excellent.
I bought three 6 pot sets from AutoPot over 10 years ago. For many seasons they grew great tomatoes in my conservatory. Then we built a greenhouse, and for 4 years I’ve been planting the tomatoes direct into the soil. With mixed results, especially in colder summers. To my shame I did not store the pot systems as they deserved, but in a leaky shelter at the back of the garden. I’ve worked out that the lack of disturbance to roots by keeping in pots, the consistent feed and watering, and the better warmth to the root ball being above ground speeds up early plant growth.
So I dug out the AutoPot systems, cleaned them off (I even had to eject small worms from some of the piping and many slugs from the bottom of pots). The only spares I needed to get everything working was one base unit for a valve and a couple of T connectors for the piping. Not only did this lovely company have all spares for what is now an outdated line, but they rang me to double check my post code which I must have mistyped at some time. And the bonus is I’ll be able to take some holiday this year without bribing the neighbours to water my tomatoes.
AutoPots work, are durable and the customer service is excellent.

I first saw Autopots at the RHS Malvern…
I first saw Autopots at the RHS Malvern show and managed to buy 8 Tray2Grow trays from my local garden centre. I planted Aubergines, Tomatoes and Geranium cuttings in my conservatory in November and have Tomatoes now (end of April). I used Autopot fertiliser and the results have been amazing with the Aubergines 3 feet high and starting to flower. The Geraniums thrived and most are in flower now. The best thing is that I haven’t had to endure the drudgery of watering them. I just top up the reservoir once a week with water and the Autopot liquid feed. I had also Cannas in Autopots and I had to cut them down in April as they were 3 feet high and taking over the conservatory!! Again no watering needed, just a weekly top up of the tank. I have been so impressed with the Autopots that I have bought some Aquaboxes for my veg patch so I won’t have to water my veg with a watering can anymore. Fantastic.
