Five star service
Very pleased with appliance electronics. Not used them before. Found an item that was cheaper than on any other site. Delivery was also free. We were advised of the delivery date in advance and had a call in the morning, when the drivers were about 30 mins away. Delivery drivers, Raj and Arnold, were really polite and helpful. They unpacked the item and made sure all was well before leaving. Five stars all round👍

Awful
Absolutely experience so far, ordered appliances had a phone call from a sales advisor to confirm the delivery only for them to cancel on me this morning. I have emailed the sales advisor I have spoken to and have had no response back as of yet. I have had to take a day off (self employed) and put my child in nursery to be able to take the delivery for them to cancel on the morning. I have tried calling and all you have is a minimum wait time of 10 minutes which I get charged for.
Honestly wish I hadn't ordered my appliances from this website I would stay well clear.

Hi,
We're sincerely sorry for the experience you've had.
We completely understand your frustration. Having a delivery confirmed and then cancelled on the day, after you've taken time off work and arranged childcare, is incredibly disappointing and not the standard of service we aim to provide.
Unfortunately, delivery schedules can occasionally change due to circumstances outside of our control, but we appreciate that this does not lessen the inconvenience caused to you. We also apologise if you felt communication from us was lacking while trying to get an update.
If you could please contact our support team with your order number, we would welcome the opportunity to investigate what happened and provide a full update on your order.
Once again, we're very sorry for the inconvenience and frustration caused.

Penalised for following company advice – Dangerous safety suggestions
I am writing this to warn others about the poor service and questionable safety advice from AE. I purchased a replacement battery for my son’s RC car, which turned out to be faulty (confirmed by their own advisor via a voltage check).
The process was unnecessarily complex, requiring me to buy additional chargers and adapters. I only opened and plugged in the latest charger at the direct request of an AE advisor to help diagnose the battery issue. Once the battery was confirmed as defective, I naturally tried to return the now-unnecessary charger.
However, a staff member named Alan has refused a full refund, claiming the item is "used" simply because I followed their instructions to test their own faulty product.
Even more concerning: another advisor suggested I try charging the battery on a NiMh setting to "fix" it. After researching this, I found this is a major fire hazard for this type of battery. Giving such dangerous advice to a customer with a young child in the house is unacceptable. I am now being left out of pocket for a charger I don't need, all because I received a faulty product from them in the first place. Avoid this company if you value fair returns or safety.

Hi,
We're sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience.
Customer safety is something we take extremely seriously, and we would never intentionally provide advice that could put a customer or their property at risk. We also understand your frustration regarding the additional charger purchase and the subsequent return request.
As this review relates to specific technical advice, testing procedures, and conversations with multiple members of staff, we would welcome the opportunity to review the full communication history and discuss the matter with you directly to ensure all of the facts are properly considered.
Please contact our management team at support@applianceelectronics.co.uk with your order number and any relevant correspondence, and we will be happy to carry out a full review of the case.
Having never ordered through this…
Having never ordered through this company before I was hesitant. However for the fridge freezer I wanted this company was the best price . I ordered late on the Monday evening and received a call Tuesday to check delivery for Wednesday ! Brilliant in the lead up to Christmas . Raj and Arnold the delivery team were fantastic - what a lovely couple of guys . So helpful and friendly and went above and beyond . The fridge arrived in perfect condition but was still throughly checked before raj and Arnold were happy to leave it with me . Over the moon with my new fridge and would definitely recommend appliance electronics and will be looking to order from here in the future. Raj and Arnold - thank you so much - you absolute superstars and have a lovely Christmas

It's great to hear that the ordering process, communication, and delivery all went smoothly, especially during the busy Christmas period.
Raj and Arnold will be thrilled to read your comments. They take great pride in making sure every delivery is handled professionally, carefully, and with a friendly approach, so it's fantastic to hear they helped make the experience such a positive one.
We're delighted that your fridge freezer arrived in perfect condition and that you're happy with your purchase. Thank you for recommending us, it genuinely means a lot to our whole team.
We hope you enjoy your new fridge freezer, and we look forward to helping you again in the future.
Great price and delivery organised…
Great price and delivery organised quickly. The delivery drivers (Arnold and Raj) were brilliant - they spotted some damage on the first delivery and immediately contacted the head office to arrange for a new fridge to be delivered. I was contacted later that day where the team apologised and organised a new delivery date. Arnold and Raj then came again with a new unit 2 days later and again were brilliant in bringing it inside and unpacking it.
I will also add that the damage of the first fridge was nothing to do with Appliance Electronics - all of the packaging was unmarked but the fridge had damage which I assume was from the factory before it was packaged up.
All in all a brilliant service and they dealt with the issue superbly. Thanks.

Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a fantastic review.
We're delighted to hear that Arnold and Raj spotted the damage before the appliance was installed and acted quickly to get a replacement arranged. While it's always disappointing when a product arrives with a factory defect, we're pleased that our team could resolve the issue promptly and keep you informed throughout the process.
Thank you also for recognising that the damage wasn't caused during delivery. We always inspect appliances carefully on arrival, and in this case it allowed us to identify the problem and avoid leaving you with a damaged product.
We'll be sure to pass your kind comments on to Arnold, Raj, and the rest of the team. It's great to hear that the replacement was delivered quickly and that you were happy with the service from start to finish.
Thank you again for your support and for choosing Appliance Electronics.
Next day delivery didn’t happen
Paid for next day delivery. Didn’t arrive they said they could not refund the money because of the low profit margin they get on the product (Traxxas Trx4m body)
Ordered on Friday morning and they said it would now arrive on Wednesday. Such a bad way to treat a loyal customer. I don’t understand what profit margins have to do with me?

Hi,
We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience.
We completely understand your frustration when an order expected for next-day delivery does not arrive as planned. We appreciate that delivery times are important, especially when you've paid for an expedited service.
The comments regarding product margins related to our ability to absorb additional costs internally and were never intended to suggest that your order was any less important to us. We apologise if this was not communicated clearly.
We would welcome the opportunity to review the order and the circumstances surrounding the delay. Please contact our support team with your order number so we can investigate the matter fully and discuss it with you directly.
