Jokham and Lauren in Broome were so helpful I. Getting us on the road.

After several rentals at Apollo/THL, I tried another company for my previous trip: what a mistake! Dirty vehicle, air conditioning that doesn't work, cruise control that doesn't work, and especially a silly reason to charge 400AUD for a handle that was already broken. Very happy to have found Apollo and a well-prepared vehicle, and a team at the top.

Awesome service. Great staff, easy pick up and drop off. Campervan was amazing. No hustle at all.

We rented a self-contained motorhome and it was great. It drove smoothly and it had everything we needed. Icluding frech bed linens and a blanket. The only thing we would say is that it doesn’t have a heater that you can use if you are not in a campsite and during the winter it is quite cold in New Zeland so we ended up having to go to campsites almost everynight so we could use the portaable heater they lend you. But definitly something to take into consideraation. Another thing is that branch hours are from 8:00 to 16:00 so you don’t have a lot of margin to pick up the van (we picked it up at the Auckland branch in New Zeland). But other than that they were super nice and the motorhome worked perfectly!

The team at both pickup and drop off were excellent, all workings of the motor home and a few helpful tips were run through at pick up along with the simple one page laminated instruction sheet made the the week away seamless..

Every person we dealt with at Apollo at the Brisbane office were excellent. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the vehicle we hired.

Staff very friendly. Did have to wait a couple of hours for our motor home to finished being serviced upon collection.

As always a great rental, easy pick up clear directions and an enjoyable experience only sadly let down by Csirns depot when called in to exchange linen. Front customer service was lacking, a quick check on the vehicle would have resulted an an add blue top up, linen exchange ok but not all items swapped and not checked. Handover in Darwin great, superb staff & experience. Now -landing next visit & hire in Tasmania

Overall great but a few small issues. The fridge was very noisy and needed to be turned off at night. The kettle was for gas top only, an electric kettle would be good for when we had power. Would have liked a small camping toaster for use on gas cooktop when we had no power

The motorhome ,unlike previous times we have hired, was not fully operational and stocked which we did not discover until we were on the road. I feel the Perth team are not as diligent as other depots. A drawer would not close, one burner did not work on the hot plate, the water pump continuously cycled. Friends hired at the same time and the original motorhome offered was dangerous with sharp edges on the table and very dirty. The depot replaced the van with a ‘newer’ model that had very high KM and was no different in quality to the Apollo brand. It had differing amounts of kitchenware and only 1 set of sheets for a 6 berth.

Overall experience was good, we were first-time campervan users. Staff was friendly (but forgot to hand me the keys to get our vehicle started), could have actually explained more in detail about the waste water, fresh water and toilet water system, had to prompt more before he explained, and we spent some time figuring out.

I tried to email and ring this company many times over 3 weeks, never was a phone call or email returned.
Even after walking in and asking for a quote on multiple vans(as I thought going direct may have been cheaper, and also wanted to view vans) i was told I would get a price that day. 4 days later I went in again as no one answered phone or email. On picking up our Van, the first day arranged in Kakadu we have 11.6 V battering(dead) and wasn't charging when driving so we had warm food in our fridge and freezer. The help line told us "drive and plug into a power point".
We had an empty gas tank when it was meant to be full. We had a dirty toilet cassette. Dirty dishes, Dirty Floor, under the seats and storage compartments haven't been cleaned in the last year I'm sure.
Fridge wasnt clean. Freezer door was broken.
Reverse camera didn't work.
Water tank leaked.
Kitchen drain line smelt like something was dead inside.
Engine light came on, had to redirect to main town due to faulty Ad Blue. Only to be told back at Darwin office this happens all the time.
Pretty disappointing when you spend well over $3000 dollars.
No communication, not enough staff, staff are overworked and not enough of them to go around.

Almost everything was very smooth, especially considering that I was travelling as a foreigner. One thing that would be helpful is to have a recommended petrol station near the depot where AdBlue can also be refilled.

Another thing we missed was that the Mercedes model we travelled in does not have factory-fitted armrests on the first two seats.

Overall, it was an outstanding service.

Dear Customer Support Team,
I am writing to share our feedback regarding our recent rental (Booking Reference: WGR362067-1). While we managed to complete our trip, our overall driving and travel experience was severely compromised due to numerous mechanical and operational issues with the vehicle, as well as inadequate pre-rental preparation.
Below is a list of the issues we encountered:
1. Broken Side Mirror: The connection joint of the right side mirror was fractured and shook violently during transit, especially on uneven roads. This felt extremely unsafe while driving.
2. Dashboard Discrepancies: The dashboard instruments were inaccurate. The speedometer showed a discrepancy of over 10 km/h compared to Google Maps, and the dashboard clock was off by 1 hour and 50 minutes compared to Apple CarPlay, causing constant confusion.
3. Pre-existing Mirror Damage: The lower part of the right side mirror was cracked. When we reported this, the staff member simply told us "it doesn't matter because you purchased The Inclusive Pack (Platinum Cover)." This response was very frustrating—purchasing comprehensive insurance should not mean receiving a vehicle in poor condition.
4. Missing or Broken Accessories:
4.1 Missing quick-connect adapter for the water hose (we only noticed this on day three when trying to refill water).
4.2 One of the portable gas stoves was broken.
4.3 Only one set of bedding was provided, causing us to wake up cold during the night.
5. Faulty Fuel Cap Lock: The fuel cap lock was broken and could not be locked after closing.
6. Missing External Power Cover: The protective cover for the external power socket was missing. Staff told us it wouldn't affect anything, but we were concerned about potential safety hazards if it rained.
7. Loose Pot Handle: The handle on the cooking pot was loose, creating a burn hazard.
8. Loose Cabinet Door: Internal storage cabinet doors were loose and unhinged.
9. Damaged Side Window Support: The support mechanism for the side window was broken.
10. Low Engine Oil Light: The low engine oil warning light turned on halfway through our trip.
11. Inconvenience During Trip: During our first three days in Broome, we visited the thl branch daily to report these issues. Once we left Broome, we had no choice but to manage these problems on our own, which severely degraded our driving and travel experience.
In summary, although we completed our journey safely, the overall experience fell far short of expectations. While the staff were generally polite, there is significant room for improvement regarding vehicle maintenance, safety inspections, and pre-handover preparation.

The Motorhome was clean and well prepared. We had a wonderful 3 weeks

We had a fantastic experience with Apollo Motorhome Holidays! From the easy booking process and airport pick-up to the friendly service and clear instructions when collecting the campervan, everything was smooth and stress-free.
The campervan was clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed, including sheets, towels and cooking utensils. Returning the van was just as quick and easy, with a convenient transfer back to the airport.
The whole process was excellent from start to finish. Friendly staff, great service and a wonderful campervan experience. We would definitely recommend Apollo and use them again!

Everything was smooth from pick up the campervan to drop off, the staffs are very kind and they will explain everything you need to know. Their campervans was all maintained and clean as well. We had it for four days and we don't get any problem with it, make our holiday more fun and enjoyable. Thankyou! We will definetely recommend you guys to our friends and family. Will go back again soon!

Insufficient blankets. Uncomfortable beds, toilet wouldn’t flush, shower stopped working. Sewerage smells on pick up.
