OK thinks not long rental

We had a very good experience. This is our second time renting campervan from Apollo. However this time the van given to us had issues which we had to face during our stay. I would request to please check the vehicle before.

Our recent motorhome holiday exceeded all expectations. The motorhome was spotless, easy to drive, and had everything we needed for a comfortable journey. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient, and the team provided excellent customer service throughout. The freedom of travelling at our own pace made for an unforgettable holiday. We wouldn't hesitate to use Apollo again and would highly recommend them to anyone considering a motorhome adventure.

Hiring the 6 Bearth motorhome from Apollo was the best decision we made! We travelled for 19 days with 4 young boys, and honestly we had everything we needed. It was easy enough to drive and had plenty of room for our family. The only downfall was that we didn’t have a bbq with our model which would have been handy. We have never travelled in a mobile home before, but we are already organising our next trip!

Krista and Frederico were super efficient and helped us sort a few issues. Great team.

The experience at the Lexi depot in Perth was wonderful. The staff was friendly, informative, and provided an excellent tour of the campervan.

However, there were some issues with the setup. The front camera kept malfunctioning while driving on cruise control due to moisture in the area. Additionally, the sensor on the sliding door was causing the cruise control to disengage unexpectedly.

Krista from Christchurch branch is the best… she deserves a payrise.. after a poor customer service from Auckland branch… Krista made our holiday more comfortable and safe- from providing us the snow chain and heaters so that my children, mum n I won’t freeze in the cold. She even demonstrated how to plug/charge in the RV correctly as I was worried the van is not charging as the microwave won’t turn on. She explained it very thoroughly. Krista was very helpful. Thank you again Krista!!!

Excellent experience from booking online to pickup to drop off. Campervan was met all expectations. Professional service and top notch product.

Staff is helpful and it is easy to pick up and drop off the campervan. The kids and us enjoyed the holiday, especially the experience in Bruny Island and Cradle Mountain. Thanks.

1) We were upgraded from a 4 berth to a 6 berth without being asked or told first. Pretty big for just 2 people and I would have said no to an upgrade because of the extra length it added to the vehicle making it more awkward to drive. 2) There was a couple of things wrong with it when we drove it away mainly: the cutlery draw would not stay locked in place and kept opening every time when going around a corner so we had to prop it shut with a suitcase. This was happening from day 1 along with the awning front corner started leaking a dark oily fluid which sprayed back down the side of the camper. We didn't ever use the awning because we thought it may get worse if we tried extending it. I mentioned these problems when I took it back but I don't think the person at the desk noted it down so the draw probably wont get fixed for the next hire and I suspect the same issues were had by the people in the previous hire as well. We didn't use the toilet and shower in it since all of the motor camps had a good off season deals on so we used theirs, and the inside was pretty tidy when we dropped it back so the drop and go fee I would not purchase again either since we never needed it. It was our first experience with one so overall it was a good learning experience. Can't complain about the service when we picked it up, we were given a pretty good induction on how they operated.

Mediocre condition of the vehicle, also in comparison to what we booked.

We recieved great pre trip instructions and information. Were very well informed about the pickup process. Vehicle was ready and very clean, staff were helpful. Easy to find location and the vehicle we had a 6 berth motorhome that was well suited for our family holiday. Everything worked great and was easy to operate.
Would use this company again if needed, highly recommend and thanks Diane at reception for being so helpful.

We hired an Apollo Euro Quest which is quite roomy inside, and has great three sided seating areawith good big windows.at the back. Only problem is that bed in roof won’t drop down to seat level like our similar model at home so you have to make a jigsaw pattern of cushions for your bed. We recommend rolling down the bedding so you can roll it out again at night.
Just check that your electric jug and heater work before leaving the depot. .

The service for pick up and drop off was great, the girls are lovely. Did have a couple of issues ,we had to buy a can opener along with a broom and a longer water hose.
I would have thought a can opener would be standard along with a broom to sweep out the van, the water hose we had was just way too short and was absolutely no use for anything, however apart from that our experience was great.

We made the most of a wonderful winter deal, and were upgraded when we got there so very happy with the value for money! The motorhome was super comfortable with absolutely everything we needed and we had one of the best trips we have ever had, we literally started looking at options for our next adventure the day after we got home

We had the best time traveling up the coast as a family in the motorhome for five days! It didn’t feel too big to drive (we were surprised how easy it was to use!) and it felt big enough inside for all of us to feel comfortable (5 of us). The motorhome was in great condition which made the trip very comfortable. The team were great on the day of collection and drop-off. Super helpful and clear as it is a lot of information to take in! We found the app and ‘how to’ videos incredibly helpful along the way and preparing ourselves for the trip.
We have already recommended hiring a motorhome to so many friends who were also considering doing it.
