Useless adapters
purchased three Universal adapters at GBP1 each for use in UK, turns out the adapter holes were too small rendering them useless!! S**tty Made in China
lucky that I have spare adapter.

Great customer service - rubbish courier

Not a good experience. It took a month and three phone calls to eventually receive my order. Not what I would call great service.

about one month delay
about one month delay. Received £5 (or £10 don't remember) voucher to shop at alza again. Not really useful. Bad communication but best price I could find.

I was concerned about the suitability…
I was concerned about the suitability for the UK electricity supply when I saw that the Coffee Maker I received was fitted with a 2 pin European plug. Alza assured me that it was UK compatible and sent me a credit to cover the cost of an adapter for the UK 3 pin system. All worked perfectly and very happy with all aspects of Alza service, having not heard of them prior to this purchase. I have no reservations about using them in the future.

Poor couriers for delivery
I gave this company a five star review about 2 years ago and was pleased enough with their service to purchase another mobile phone from them this time. Their delivery has gone from being excellent to really poor and it is all due to their choice of couriers for delivery. They choose Skynet and Hermes, presumably because they are the cheapest. I have had plenty of bad experiences with Hermes, so much so I do not knowingly buy from any seller that uses them. It was my first experience of Skynet, they are also as bad as Hermes. The tracking information was poor and didn't change for more than a week!
I have no problem with Alza just the delivery companies they chose. Come on Alza, the cheapest delivery companies you choose are hurting your business, give me a choice or choose better. I am prepared to pay a bit more for a good delivery company!
