Very poor customer support
Very poor customer support. Bad attitude towards customers. Efforts to resolve issues are answered with canned, scripted responses that do not take individuals into account and are clearly designed to push back, regardless of the validity of the customer's complaint. Used to be good company. However in the past few months, couple of things have changed:
1. Delivery service costs have gone up; (which is understandable, but please read the next 2 points);
2. Last 3 orders have had significant delays in delivery (up to 24h), without upfront notice;
3. Unhelpful and uninterested customer service support that does not seem to care about its customers ...

I ordered a Samsung Galaxy watch…
I ordered a Samsung Galaxy watch classic 42mm on Alza. Along, with this watch was a free Samsung Galaxy buds live as an offer but, this buds live product was unavailable so, Alza just without confirm with the customer (me) cancels this Samsung Galaxy buds live order and sends the watch (after making me wait for a month!)

"Meine Bestellung wurde einfach so heimlich storniert, ohne einer Benachrichtigung oder anderes. Ich habe mich auf die Lieferung verlassen und nun stand ich zum Geburtstag da ohne Geschenk. Sowas ist mir wo anders auch noch nicht passiert. Unfähig und schon echt frech.
Das war mein letzter Kauf.
Wenn man etwas dringend benötigt,sollte man lieber wo anders bestellen. Ich kann diesen Shop nicht weiter empfehlen."

They never delivered what I paid for
I bought and paid for a fridge, because I was moving to an apartment 35 minutes across the one I was living in, since we were moving in Saturday, I scheduled the delivery on Friday, so I would have where to store my food on Saturday once we moved. I took the day off on Friday so I could be in the apartment because they don’t let you pick an hour, just a date and they tell you they will deliver from 8:00 to 20:00, so I had to take a day off from work to be available in the new place (first negative experience). On Friday they say they will deliver it between 15:55 and 17:55, but at 14:00 they sent me a message that the order is delayed because they are collecting the items for my order from different locations, when the order was only one fridge, so I feel this was a lie. I called customer service and the agent sounded like not wanting to be on the phone with me, told me there is nothing he could do, I asked to prioritize it because I need this fridge on Friday and since we were moving on Saturday it will be very inconvenient because my food will spoil (since you’re not supposed to use your fridge after 24h of moving it). The agent said that I will receive an email once he increased the priority, which I did not and instead on Saturday I get another email saying the same thing as before, that they were moving it to Sunday. I was furious with this company and cancelled the order, asked the movers to come with me to ElectroWorld and bought the fridge there and took it to the new place.
I feel very disrespected by this company, wasting a lot of my time and energy, and now I have paid for two fridges and waiting for the money back from them.

No goods and no refund
I bought and paid for a watch. The courier company informed me it had been damaged beyond repair in transit and would not be delivered. I contacted Alza by email and phone several times and was eventually asked to sign a declaration form. They promised to refund my card but did not do so, despite saying that they had. They then asked for my bank account details. Since they had my name, address, date of birth and a copy of my signature I refused. I think they are trying to scam me. Now they state they do not sell to the UK any more.

The order was not delivered to you due to the fact the pacrel has been damaged during transport. I apologize for this inconvenience. There was a credit note issued for the refund of the payment and payment refunded back to your card.
The refund did not do through and was returned back to us for unknown reason. My colleague from financial department is already investigating the reason. To solve the refund as fast as possible to your convenience we asked for your bank account IBAN number to refund the payment directly via bank tranfer.
Regarding your worries to provide the IBAN number we would not have any access to your financials knowing just your IBAN bank account number.

Amazing Phone, great service
Having been a loyal Apple customer for years, I hesitated to pay the huge cost when I needed a new Phone. The Motorola Edge 20 has outperformed my iPhone in every way, particularly the Camera.
