Effective software combined with great support
I have used WP Rocket for many years. I find it is very effective software and it is combined with helpful support staff who thoroughly understand their software (this is not always the case with support staff) and how it relates to your website (and other software you may be running). They take time to provide advice and recommend solutions.

Disappointing licensing change for long-term customers
I have been a WP Rocket customer for years and always appreciated the quality of the plugin and its performance benefits.
However, the recent decision to discontinue the “Infinite” license and replace it with capped plans is extremely disappointing, especially for long-term users who built their business around the original terms.
When we purchased the Infinite license in 2023, it was clearly presented as allowing usage on unlimited websites. Based on that, we structured our services and made long-term commitments to our clients.
Now, despite having respected all terms, we are being forced into a completely different model with strict limits and higher costs. While WP Rocket offers temporary discounts and extensions, this does not address the core issue: the loss of the original agreement’s value and predictability.
The option to keep using the plugin without updates is not a real solution for agencies managing multiple client websites, where security and compatibility are critical.
This change significantly impacts trust and long-term reliability from a business perspective.

We understand that this change may be significant, especially for long-time users. However, as WP Rocket has grown and evolved, unlimited usage was no longer sustainable, which led us to adopt Multi-tier plans that better align with diverse user needs and support the new features we provide.
Our goal is to provide fair, transparent pricing while delivering continuous improvements and powerful automated features to help users achieve top performance for their sites, and our new plans allow us to do that.
After you contacted us directly, we offered the best path forward tailored to your account, and we of course respect your decision. We truly appreciate your support over the past years, and also the kind words you said about WP Rocket as well!

***Follow up....so you updated your software and released it onto the public like every other software company without testing it. Shocking.
Then You found a bug that tried charging people money for a bill they didn't owe, but its ok because you sent emails that my email provider treated as spam!! Shocking. A shady company got treated like spam.
So happy you didn't wait for me to authorize a charge and just went ahead and tried charging my card again because of a bug I didn't code, wasn't privy to quality testing it and had zero contact with.

And I own 16 websites since 2008. Now imagine how awful that user interface is for someone who just installed wordpress yesterday!!
All you did was defend behavior, identify the mechanics of the bad behavior and revalidated a treasure hunt does exist if a user chooses to part ways.

They just tried charging my credit for $119 seven months after I stopped using their plugin.
If I wanted to attach their shitty plugin to my site I would voluntarily sign up. I wouldn't wait for them to sneak in a charge 7 months after I removed their plugin!!
And there is not cancellation option anywhere in the user dashboard. And of course there is no way to contact them except by email. So Im sure I won't get a reply, and if I do it will be 3 months from now!!

Firstly, we're deeply sorry about the frustration this attempted charge to your account has caused for you!
To briefly explain, the attempt happened in relation to a fix we applied for a technical billing issue on our end. Your subscription was originally canceled in relation to this bug some months ago, and that's why this attempted charge was made recently (we only just discovered and fixed the bug some days ago).
We reached out via email a couple of times to let you know in advance that we'd be attempting to renew your license as part of the fix, but we understand you may not have seen those messages.
Had your license been canceled manually (rather than due to the bug), this charge would not have been attempted.
For you and anyone else's information, the option to cancel a subscription is located in your account's WP Rocket Billing page and can be used at any time.
We responded to you privately as well, in which we offer a gesture to make up for the frustration this has caused you.
We're so sorry once again for this misunderstanding!

Je ne vois pas comment faire fonctionner un site WORD PRESS sans WP ROCKET. Paiement PAYPAL possible. Je suis utilisateur depuis plusieurs annes.
Par contre, il serait temps que le paiement du service CDN soit possible via PAYPAL ce qui n'est pas possible pour l'instant et provoque des bugs signaler de multiples fois.

Rock solid cache solution for a large scale commercial site
