Great communication and customer service

I created the website for my wedding with the app. Very easy and very nice. I just couldn’t delete the “where to stay option” ( it was not applicable in this case) and it’s a little confusing to find dummy names in the rsvp section that cannot be deleted.

The RSVP tool is not a great multi person reservation system per household and multiple guests told me they had issues RSVPing. Other parts of the website were fair for the set-up of the details. The templates were nice and easy to customize for the website itself. The registry doesn't update to external websites very well if you happen to update your registry on those external sites like Amazon or Crate & Barrel. Had to remove the registry multiple times when changes were made and the changes were not dynamic. I would not recommend this to future couples.

Joy is super easy to use. I love how it keeps me organized and upto date with planning. I wish it allowed me to upload my own invitations

We are hosting a big party and are using withjoy. The invitation and RSVP process makes no sense to anyone.
In order to RSVP you have to click the link on the invitation to go to the website, once you are on the website, you have to find the RSVP tab at the top. There is no way to make the font bigger. Then you have to enter your name exactly as it is in the list. If you shut off the exact requirement, anyone can RSVP. The biggest issue is you cannot use text messaging. My husband suggested that I use Evite to be able to text invitations to people and just include the link to the website, which I might do. It is rediculuous that evite has a simpler process for collecting RSVPs than this time consuming cluncky process. The plus one process is rediculous too. There should just be a column that denotes what party the group is with rather than the mechanism used in the guest list. Finally, the photo album feature doesn't allow people to add messages. So there is some way to create a virtual guest book but I couldn't figure it out and so I used an external applicaiton and linked it to the site. It is so frustrating!

My daughter booked a room for a wedding from a set aside room block. When she arrived, she was told that the Joy site had canceled her reservations. She received no notice and no refund.
It's impossible to get customer service. There is no phone # , no humans, and only an unhelpful AI agent.
Do not use this site for your wedding plans.

Beware, hotel rooms are non-refundable. You pay at time of booking and if anything changes you're screwed!

First off, Joy is so much better than I was expecting, especially for a free service. What's great is that Joy actually explains why they are free and how they make money, just in case you were nervous about signing up to their platform.

But I have nothing but praise for Joy. I used them for making my wedding website. I initially started with Squarespace but wasn't getting what I wanted from it. Joy covers everything, guests lists, rsvps, save the dates, automatic reminders etc. And their pre designed templates are all surprisingly good, although there are certain premium options which do cost. But even then, there are so many good free options available that you don't need to spend anything!

Highly recommend using Joy for your wesding website!

Withjoy provides a very comprehensive experience in creating a wedding website. It has all the features I would expect from RSVP, FAQ.

One strange behavior is seeing when people have drafted the RSVP page, so we might see random or incomplete entrees in the RSVP page. I'd just be interested in seeing the final RSVP from people

Everything with my experience so far has been intuitive and perfect so far with the exception of the save the date/invitation builder. I find the interface to be woefully lacking and unable to do the things I want it to do. The software won’t allow me to add text boxes or un-italicize text that was already italicized. I tried multiple times in multiple browsers across devices, so I’m left to conclude that it’s a result of the software. There is very little functionality beside changing the name and date of the sample invitation. This has been my only complaint so far.

Love Joy so happy with it as a bride who needed good organized, planning and execution

Joy was a good website to use for my wedding event! There were just UX things in the backend that I think could be optimized (eg drag-and-drop sorting abilities when going through questions, wedding party profiles, etc) but overall it helped me put up my website with half the time than if I would’ve done it in my default website/funnel platforms 🤍

Easy to organise your guests for your events and the template are easy to use. 100% recommend

Difficult to set up, app is not great, doesn't work well outside of the US and is more complicated than should be

It's a very easy site/tool to use and provides a wonderful experience for everyone involved. I enjoyed the user interface and ease of use. All the tracking and settings are wonderful and building out the personalized site was super easy. I think I did most of it from my phone which is amazing to me! Definitely would recommend!

It's easy to keep track of everything to do with my wedding. Including guests list , accommodations and the layouts are wonderful. This app has helped me plan my wedding and kept me on track with my planning

Easy to use and set up. The app is good but best experience on desktop pc. Makes collective meal choices and attendance numbers easy.

I love how seamless the process is. Maybe for the RSVP part, it would be helpful to make the customization a bit better such that more connections between question options and follow up questions can be done.
