Should be Nil stars . Fuming I have received a debt collection letter for a payment regarding a claim I have never received and was never owed. I had conversations with we fight any claim earlier in the year and thought this was cleared up. What is this company up to ? No telephone number for wefightanyclaim and the debt collection company isn’t very helpful. I have been on hold all morning. Trying to sort this out is a nightmare . Get your act together wefightanyclaim. This shouldn’t be allowed . Reading through these posts I’m not the only one in this position .

We used We Fight Any Claim for PPI as many people did and tell the truth they were good. Now however they have been demanding payment for reference numbers my wife and I have never heard of. They got a debt collection service for a case they won 3 years ago which according to my bank NEVER HAPPENED. I have tried Emailing them, used their own complaints procedure but they never answer me. They just keep sending demands.

Scammers and scummers. Never sent me an invoice, then got a letter from another scum company debt collectors . Obviously they are in it together. Shithouses the pair of them.

It seems to write a review you have to give at least one star, which I would not have provided.
I am being hounded from 0600am by emails and txts. Yet you cannot reply to emails and they only open call lines at 9am yet they send these txts and emails early am and late evening!
I have not received any compensation and will not be paying any bill. I will go to court if necesssary. Any advice please?

Harassing my poor mother with debt collection letters even though she paid her bill the day they requested the payment. Bullies picking on vulnerable people, you should be ashamed of yourselves. AVOID!!!

This company rang me and persisted that I may have paid ppl despite me saying I was sure i didn’t.went along with them but got nothing like I knew I wouldn’t.then they sent me a bill and I rang them over 2 years ago and told them I’d received nothing.ok that’s fine she said.now the bailiffs have sent a whacking bill and said they’d take me to court.at my wits end and can’t ring wefightanyclaim.

This is an appauling company . I received a debt recovery letter for not paying a fee for a service I did not request .
They've told the Debt recovery agency that they have made a payout go me back in Oct2020, which is not true .
You cannot speak to them on the phone .
Stay away from this company

They are lucky to get 1 star as received a Debt Recovery Letter on Saturday for a claim they have not paid out against. Can't speak to them on the phone and have to email them, joke. 2 years ago got a bill from them for the same so called settlement and was advised it had been issued in error. I would love them to prove they have sent me the money.

Got a debt recovery letter Saturday for fees from this company. The ppi was halved between me and my ex and I was told I wasn't liable for his share of the fee. Recovery company can't help and WFAC not acknowledging my emails. They phoned me today offering to claim the tax back on my payouts free of charge but the 3rd party company they use will charge 48%.....when I asked about the debt recovery letter they couldn't help but promised me a call back..... Didn't get a call..... Citizens advice couldn't help me either 😢

Absolutely despicable company!
Always calling to see if you want to claim and then, if you need anything from them, you either wait hours on the phone, only to be cut off anyway, email them and hope you get a reply this century or write them and have your letter ‘conveniently’ lost in the post!!!!

I entered a Iva back in 1999 , and then got contacted by WFAC in 2019 ,
Throughout the 2 years I have heard nothing regarding any ppi claims , so late 2020 I told them to drop any claims as they were a waste of time ,
Well out of the blue today I have received there invoice telling me to pay over £600 in fees as my claims paid out in 2019 but the money went straight to the insolvency ???
What a load of crap , I am not paying a penny and I have a very good solicitor who can not wait to send these cowboys down,
DO NOT USE THIS SO CALLED COMPANY, COMPLETE BUNCH OF COWBOYS !!!!

They are trying to scam more and more money from myself and my husband, we paid them their fee for a claim we told them not to pursue. Now they they want that money again. It was about 6 years ago and it's strange that it's just after the allotted time the Inland revenue says they must keep their records for !!!
My husband has been in touch with the BBC watchdog program makers and is waiting for a reply. Perhaps if enough people complain to the BBC, then they might decide to investigate this cowboy company. It takes about 5 minutes to fill out the info that they need, so come on people, get writing to the BBC.

This company called us years ago, we received some money and we paid our fee. They then called us again out of the blue and said they could find another PPI that owed us money, I spoke to them and told them under no circumstances were they to persue the claim, I was going to do this myself, then shortly after, we received a cheque for a large sum of money, then shortly after that, a demand for their payment. We did not sign anything to give the company permission to persue the claim. My wife, against my wishes, paid the company £1927. They now want the payment again and are harassing her for the payment, sending letters threatening her with court action and the "can't pay, we'll take it away" company of cowboys. The date incurred says 09/09/2019. We have not heard from this company in years since we claimed, but now, all of a sudden, we are receiving these letters and it seems like they are getting away with murder. My wife is now panicking because we certainly don't have the cash to pay these scammers and it's depressing her. They certainly should not be allowed to do this and need investigating. Perhaps the BBC still do a series investigating cowboy companies like this ? ?

Cowboy company, who Now have little to chase; desperately getting their fees by revoking promises and pass onto debt firms (show us the contract signed!)

I only gave them 1 star because zero stars is unfortunately not an option. They made a successful claim on my behalf and sent me an invoice which I paid. They then sent me a second invoice which I didn't pay immediately as I didn't believe I owed it to them. I asked their customer service goons on multiple occasions to get a member of their legal team to contact me. No one ever did. Eventually, I sent them an email explaining the reason I was disputing the 2nd invoice was that they were charging me 30% plus VAT commission when the law states the maximum they can charge is 20% plus VAT. I included links to the relevant law etc and never heard from them again. This was in September 2018. YESTERDAY, 3 years later, I received a letter from a debt recovery agency! Fortunately, the guy I spoke to at the debt collectors wasn't a complete gimboid and after looking at my file wiped the debt. If you signed a contract with WFAC for more than 24% commission (including VAT) after 10 May 2018 I'd check to see if you can reclaim some of it. Absolute shysters. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Absolutely disgusting company. Put me in touch with the company that owed me the money, then left me to do the rest myself. They initially gave the wrong address so when I finally had a check sent out (to wrong address) I had to wait another 6 months for the check to become invalid, before I could be sent another one. The whole process took nearly 2 years, then they demanded the entire amount for doing a quarter of the job. I’ve had threatening letters and verbal abuse over the phone.

Never even dealt with this disgusting company & receiving emails saying I owe them an unspecified amount of money & they’re sending bailiffs. Scammers. They have my old address from over 6 years ago. Probably got it from a mailing list & they have another gambler dipping their fingers in the accounts. Do not respond to their emails. Just forward to ActionFraud, the FCA, Watchdog & the newspapers like I did & get these fraudsters out of business.

They’ve randomly started texting me wanting a payment of £14 and now threatening with bailiffs apparently as seen on tv’s “can’t pay we’ll take it away”… look at me quaking in my boots!! 🤣🤣🤣
I believe I may have done a ppi claim with them donkeys years ago, they probably caught me off guard with a cold call. However I never heard a thing from them, and certainly never received a pay out for anything. So they can swivel for it!
