Misleading advertisements. "Almost unlimited is 3 hours per day of a month" in total 100 hours of playtime per month, do not buy into this company.

After getting in contact with support they gave me 10 free days for inconvenience. Fixed both my saving issues and now am able to play shadow of the tomb raider. I have to take back any negative comments I've made because although yes I've had issues the company works very hard to fix my issues! It's cloud gaming. As of right now it's not perfect but is it playable......very much so! Shadow of the tomb raider has no lag/or very little. For 10 bucks a month it is well worth the price. Only thing I wish is that they had a BIGGER collection of games. Thanks Linda for your help!

I've been using my Android device with Vortex. It can take alot of tweaking but for the most part I am very satisfied! A few games I couldn't play no matter what but usually I can get 1080 res or high on ultra graphics. Witcher 3 is having a horrible saving problem where I will save and then come back the next day to find that it never saved though I would double check my save or triple check. That is very frustrating! 8hrs wasted and I've contacted support multiple times about it with no response. I also bought the new shadow of the tomb raider and it would never load. After writing to them in the "report a bug" tab I received a very unhelpful response. Says " we see you've been playing the game let use know if you have any questions" I responded with screenshots and explaining that it goes to a black screen. Never received a response back. Other than that again, I've very much enjoyed using their service. Now that liquidsky is no more it is the only thing I have for cloud gaming services. Would really like some help with the Witcher 3 saving issues. 🤯😤😩

Complete garbage service. First they say it's "unlimited" , let me laugh you only get 100h of gameplay per month which is about 3h/day. Far from unlimited...
Keyboard input goes from QWERTY to AZERTY and you can't even choose what input you want. You end up being unable to log to a game or to play. If by some kind of miracle you can play, you'll quickly notice that THE RESOLUTION IS CAPPED TO 720P. It was never announced anywhere on their website !!! It's a SCAM.
It goes even worst : you'll never get to play 720p, streaming is at a "real life" resolution of 480p most of the time !!!

Don't waste 10 bucks like many did, just avoid this service.

I initially gave his one star because it would not work from the browser. Afterwards I saw that the launcher could be downloaded. I did so and it worked after that. I've only tried Fortnite and it's playable albeit pretty low quality.

Ok, somehow right after I finished the review, I was able to play Rise of Tomb Raider in HD (1366x768). It looked good but I still turn the graphics down to medium to crank up the FPS. It is now between 20-50 FPS. The lag is still there but for playing a game like it will most like suffice. I'll see when I acutally have to shoot at people.

So, I am honestly disappointed. I am sitting on a 300 Mbit connection in the Czech Republic. I should not be that far from the servers but the lag is still somewhat annoying.
HOWEVER, the thing that really gets me is the fact this service runs such a title like Rise of Tomb Raider from 2015 in HD resolution on very LOW settings at 10-15 FPS which is what I get on my work laptop with an integrated.
Again, I tried Tomb Raider from 2013 which still ran in HD and everything was set to medium with approximately 20FPS. Again, exactly like my laptop with an integrated Intel HD graphics... Also, everytime I moved a bit faster, the screen was awfully pixelated. I had the data transfer turned all the way up to 20 Mbs in the desktop app.

The whole reason of me paying Vortex for their service was to play games I cannot normally run well enough to enjoy them or to be able to play them at all. This is an utter disappointment.

Ive been using for 6 months already and at the beginning despite the ocasional lagging... it was ok.
Lately... last 40 days to be precise.. every time you select a game you have to wait at least 30min for a new machine to be available... this hasn't got to do at all with your device or internet connection, but simply the lack of VORTEX to add more virtual machines to their service for customers to be able to use their service.
Simply unacceptable.

1) 100h is not month
2) Only support qwerty layouts so playing from EU is impossible because you cant login into the game.
3) When you donwload vortex app you will see there is not 100 games

Used it a while ago and was unplayable. I was playing from Amsterdam and with a good connection but the lag was horrible. Switched to Paperspace and it worked MUCH better. Geforce now also runs perfectly.

Also, I've requested a refund after playing 5-10min and they didn't want to give me. Thankfully I've used Paypal and could file a complain there.

My advice: Stay away.

Complete waste of money. Massive lag and s**t video quality. Unplayable.

Terrible service, constant crashing after subscribing and no reply to support queries via their forms.

The service Is very bad, i couldn't Play any game, i cancel the subscription the first day. Vortex didn't want to return my money.

It's not possible to play any game on your Vortex, recomended speed on your website is written 10mb and i have 25mb and game is super lagging impossible to play, also i requested refund and never got reply from you, i am waiting for 2 weeks now about refund reply. scam site that's feeling.

The best cloud gaming service for me. I have been testing Shadow and Geforce Now - Vortex is much better. Low latency and games installed right away, no need to waste time on installation.

Service is awful

Provides 720p with god awful compression that makes it look 10x worse.
Not only is it 720p but they cant even run alot of they games they claim to support at over 30fps. (Rust, PubG, H1z1, ext.)
Save your money its not worth it.

Best 10$ ever spent

I couldn't start my favorite game (PUBG). On about 20 launches, I managed to play once with some pretty big latency, even though my connection was considered as good (~20Mbp/s).

I wrote them to ask what could they do on this issue and I got nothing more than an automatic reply ("We usually respond within 48h [...]"). Well, I am still waiting even though I wrote them again to at least get an answer from a human that they were going through my case.

Additionally, the game updates in Steam are taken on your 100h/month time which I find disrespectful.

Finally, you can't play whenever you want. You have a "waiting for a machine" list. Funny thing, your position is really often increasing. For example you'd start on position 33 in the queue and slowly raise to position 47. So you spend a lot of time waiting.

Needless to say that I canceled my subscription 4 days after purchasing it.

F this company. People if anybody here is thinking of subscribe'ing then DONT!!! What they dont tell you is you pay 10$ not for a month but for 100 hours. When you link your steam account to their website you still can't play your games. It says to buy it and when you go to the website it launches your game through your current PC not the vortex one. I hope they can put my stolen 10$ right up theyr a.. and die also as you can see nobody is getting replied and getting help from them. DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!! P.S. The dekstop app dosent work either.
