If I could give a zero I would. One of the main reasons I signed up was to play The Sims 4, my computer is old now and cannot run games properly and I can't afford another machine at this time. I wanted to use Shadow, but they are updating all their systems at the moment and won't be back online for several months. Tried to load The Sims after signing up and was told I needed to update the game, a user cannot update the game themselves, so I contacted support, they told me they would 'look in to it'. A day later I thought I'd try again, still not updated. Later that day I tried again, now origin needed updating (This is now day 3 after being told origin needed updating) this means no game that relies on origin is unplayable. Ok I thought, I'll play something else, Tried Resident Evil 2 ... nothing but a black screen for 10 minutes (10 minutes out of my pitiful 50 hours gaming allowance, bearing in mind I had wasted nearly an hours worth trying to use The Sims!). Then I tried Elder Scrolls, same black screen and another 15 minutes out of my allowance. The only game I have managed to get working on this is Civ VI. This is a complete waste of money. I have cancelled my subscription and will now wait for Shadow to come back on line, I'm disgusted to have wasted £15 on nothing but you live and learn.

EDIT: I have tried to open the Vortex Client today and it just hung, nothing happened! Closed and restarted and was told I needed to update the client, tried to update and then the updater said 'Unable to update, no packets have been assigned'. Basically, now the entire application is unusable, this is a joke. SERIOUSLY DO NOT USE THIS! WAIT FOR SHADOW TO COME BACK ON LINE, ITS THE SAME PRICE BUT SO MUCH BETTER, THIS 'SERVICE' IS THE WORST!

To be generous, I didn't give this service a one. It had lots of spots that the company can improve on.The points were that servers often crashed and I had to restart the game ending in Mission Fails or Corrupted Saves.Another point is that, hours of gameplay. 6 months ago, when I first puschased the service it was 50 hours/$10. I had read in the reviews before purchasing that the service used be 100 hours. I didn't care. 50 hours is abit to little for $10 but, I thought it was enough. This month's auto payment came in and I thought alright, 50 hours of gameplay. Wrong, Now it's 20 hours/$10 and it shocked me for the ridiculously price increase for this expensive service. The payment didn't tell me that the service was going from 50 hours to 20 hours. The only good part, I had in the experience is that rarely I would be able to play on a session for more than 6 hours until the system kicking me off. In conclusion, I would like a refund for this month and I would be moving off to invest in a different cloud gaming service.

The worst experience dealing with “customer service” of my entire life was through Vortex. Not only do they blatantly tell you that you are wrong or at fault no matter what the situation, when you argue your point they completely ignore you. I have messaged them multiple times requesting a refund, but they will not issue me one because I spent “more than 15 minutes playing” a game that I could not get to run, so that 15 minutes was spent messing with settings and sitting in the game lobby. They steal your money and do not take ANY other factors into consideration, they just tell you that your internet isn’t fast enough or your computer is to blame (seriously, read their responses to these reviews, it is ridiculous). They take no responsibility for providing a faulty service, especially if you pass their 15 minute mark, even if it is spent loading the game or waiting to be connected. Avoid at all costs, especially if being repeatedly ignored bothers you!!

Despite most of the negative feedbacks, I feel like Vortex is good. The quality is not the best. But other that, games are all playable and latency is barely even noticable.

I played Destiny 2 which is first person multiplayer shooter game and worked quite fine for me. Also GTA 5 Online too except the rarely some hiccups.

Apart from that, one thing that do concern me is that they only provide 100hours of gameplay per month. Maybe they should increase it.

They lure people with their prices of 10 dollars a month. The issue is that you get a low/mid spec gaming rig which can hardly play a triple A title on a decent frame rate even on their default low resolution. If that's bad enough, the latency is no joke. Almost any game is unplayable.

Scam service where the loop hole is that if you 'play' for 15 minutes they keep your money, the fact is you will either see a black screen or they are streaming some bs free game you can get anywhere. They are an eastern european scam company and should be avoided.

Qualität mehr als ungenügend, auch mit einer 100Mbits-Leitung ist nur 360-480p verfügbar. Cloudsaves von Spielen lassen sich nicht synchronisieren, Programme wie der Rockstar Games Launcher welcher vorausgesetzt ist für GTA 5 lässt sich nicht installieren da die Adminrechte fehlen. Einige Tage nachdem ich Vortex mit meinem Steamaccount ausprobiert habe erhielt ich eine Mail in der ich gewarnt wurde das aus Malaysia versucht wurde in meinen Account einzuloggen. Besitze meinen Account seit 8 Jahren und das ist das erste Mal, ich vermute dass meine Accountdetails bei Vortex gestohlen/verkauft wurden. Finger weg!!!

Good option for gaming on low spec computers. A bit laggy and only some of the listed games actually included in the subscription.

I managed to contact them and they refunded my money

Scam of a company.
I have paid for a month's access however the service is UNUSABLE.

I have waited ten minutes and more for the machine to connect to the " game server" with less than 2 minutes of actually playtime . " and when asked for a refund they refused .

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

O would have given zero stars if I could. You will lose your money and patience.

Be aware that scam company.
I have purchased a premium subscription. Then I see that the steam account is required in order to play games. I did not played any single second. I've sent refund request to support staff. They have send an automatic message says " Thank you for contacting Vortex bla bla".

of course they never made a comeback...

I will create a complain to VISA and MASTERCARD.

This is the most teribble gaming service i have EVER used. Im going sicko mode over this piece of trash "gaming service".
It lags, and it just sucks overall. I bought it, i want my money back. I played over 15 minutes. To the makers of the service, kys.

if i could do a half star i would. unplayable input lag even with google fiber. the settings are at the lowest possible and still unplayable dont waste your time dont fall for the $10 scam.

Awfull gaming experience, you can't even play more than 15 mins to test it because then you're not eligible for a refund.

I tried to get a refund because the game runs really bad. I have a 150 Mbps connection so I am pretty sure it's not from my side. Note that the support guy told me that I am only allowed 15 minutes of playing and any more, I won't be refunded. That's ridiculous considering that it took at least 10 minutes to load the game leaving me with less than 5 minutes to try it out? WHAT A SHAM AND A SCAM!
