Village Physio® is a family-run, specialist home physiotherapy service based in Rotherham, providing professional physiotherapy across Rotherham, Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley, and surrounding areas of South Yorkshire. Led by Animesh, an HCPC-registered Chartered Physiotherapist with over 12 years of NHS experience, we provide personalised, one-to-one physiotherapy in the comfort of your own home. We specialise in physiotherapy for older adults, people with neurological conditions, disabilities and complex rehabilitation needs, as well as those recovering from illness, injury, surgery or hospital admission. Our home physiotherapy services include: • Neurological rehabilitation for stroke, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis (MS) and spinal cord injuries • Elderly physiotherapy, frailty and mobility rehabilitation • Falls prevention, balance training and rehabilitation after falls • Post-hospital discharge and post-operative rehabilitation • Hip and knee replacement rehabilitation • Arthritis, fractures, back pain and musculoskeletal conditions • Walking difficulties, posture and strengthening exercises • Respiratory and cardiac rehabilitation • Physiotherapy for children and people with complex needs Our appointments last up to 60 minutes, allowing time for thorough assessments, personalised treatment, supervised exercises and practical advice. We also support family members and carers with guidance to help patients maintain their progress between appointments. Alongside individual home visits, Village Physio® delivers bespoke physiotherapy-led exercise sessions for care homes, community groups and local organisations, including the United Multicultural Centre (UMCC) in Rotherham. As a small, independent husband-and-wife business, we pride ourselves on providing compassionate, patient-centred care. We take the time to listen, understand each person's individual circumstances and develop realistic rehabilitation goals. Professional, knowledgeable, understanding, punctual.
Was lovely with my mum after her fall. Very Reasonable rates compared to other mobile physios who are hard to find. Provides a much needed service.

So glad that I joined
I haven’t been in the group very long. Our Physiotherapist is helping me work on stretching those muscles that I thought I’d forgotten!
The exercises are easy to follow and easy to remember at home.
He’s encouraging and makes the class fun.

Kind and supportive physiotherapist
Animesh was recommended to me when I accidentally fractured my leg and was recovering at home after operation and discharge. He gave me simple and useful exercises and increased them according to my ability. He was very punctual, very kind and supportive and all his advice has really benefitted me, even small things like applying Vaseline and making the scar supple.

A Great Physio
I have known Animesh for a number of years now.
He is very professional, very kind and takes the time to fully explain whats going on with your body.
He works out a detailed plan that is suitable for the individual and not just straight out of a text book, his wealth of knowledge is impeccable and he adds the personal touch of getting to know his patients well, to build up a good rapport between patient and physio.
Having known him for so long I can vouch for his honesty, his kindness and he is a true gentleman with everyone he meets!
