Village Physio® is a family-run, specialist home physiotherapy service based in Rotherham, providing professional physiotherapy across Rotherham, Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley, and surrounding areas of South Yorkshire. Led by Animesh, an HCPC-registered Chartered Physiotherapist with over 12 years of NHS experience, we provide personalised, one-to-one physiotherapy in the comfort of your own home. We specialise in physiotherapy for older adults, people with neurological conditions, disabilities and complex rehabilitation needs, as well as those recovering from illness, injury, surgery or hospital admission. Our home physiotherapy services include: • Neurological rehabilitation for stroke, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis (MS) and spinal cord injuries • Elderly physiotherapy, frailty and mobility rehabilitation • Falls prevention, balance training and rehabilitation after falls • Post-hospital discharge and post-operative rehabilitation • Hip and knee replacement rehabilitation • Arthritis, fractures, back pain and musculoskeletal conditions • Walking difficulties, posture and strengthening exercises • Respiratory and cardiac rehabilitation • Physiotherapy for children and people with complex needs Our appointments last up to 60 minutes, allowing time for thorough assessments, personalised treatment, supervised exercises and practical advice. We also support family members and carers with guidance to help patients maintain their progress between appointments. Alongside individual home visits, Village Physio® delivers bespoke physiotherapy-led exercise sessions for care homes, community groups and local organisations, including the United Multicultural Centre (UMCC) in Rotherham. As a small, independent husband-and-wife business, we pride ourselves on providing compassionate, patient-centred care. We take the time to listen, understand each person's individual circumstances and develop realistic rehabilitation goals. Amazing!
I have just finished 4 sessions of physio with Alexa on my back, the difference from session 1 to session 4 is incredible. I was previously in pain with my lower back constantly but after the first session I noticed such a difference and after the 4th I feel like a I have a brand new back! She was incredibly friendly and professional and made me feel comfortable and at ease the entire time. I’d highly recommend.

Gets Results!
Animesh is kind and professional. In one one-on-one sessions, he has pushed me to achieve more and he has had me walking inside my home just with the aid of walking sticks - something I thought I would never do again.
He is patient and helpful and I can't recommend him highly enough.
