Great customer service

After using my Aira face steamer and letting it cool down, I'd let the water tank and its cap/plug thing out to dry overnight. When I went to put it away in the morning, the water tank's cap had somehow warped slightly and didn't screw on how it was supposed to. Although I can't quite figure out how, this was undoubtedly user error (so this was not the result of a faulty device or anything).
Regardless, a dysfunctional water tank could mean damage to the entire $120 unit, and since I couldn't find them sold individually anywhere on the internet, I emailed them for a replacement cap and possibly also a water tank.
After a couple email exchanges, in which responses were delightfully prompt on their part, they ended up sending me a whole new Aira, that I was pleasantly surprised to find on my doorstep today. :)
They'd asked for my order information, a video depicting the issue, and address confirmation, for anyone wondering what exactly they asked for to fulfill this replacement.
Overall, I was impressed with not only the consistent follow-ups, but also the fact that I actually received my replacement. Businesses could, and do, make empty promises for the sake of profit, so VP holding up their end of this exchange was GREATLY appreciated. 💘

digital scale

I bought the digital scale that makeupshayla suggested. The scale never worked. Put in new batteries and nothing. Even watched YouTube videos to see if I was doing it wrong but I wasn't. Emailed them about it and they gonna tell me to make a video of me setting it up. How the heck am I suppose to do that when it don't even work or turn on??? I was want a replacement 😕

This company is a scam!

This company is a scam!! They lead you to believe their items are made in California, but they’re made in China. They don’t state this anywhere on their website OR user manuals. The only way you would know this is if you open the product. And once you do they cling to this reason as not being able to return. I took receipt of my order for maybe 24 hours before contacting them for a return. Purchased a skincare fridge and found on the back of the unit it’s made in China and the electrical cord is not UL listed. It is literally not *safe* to leave this plugged in unattended. Item was never used. Then they offered my a store credit for half the price I paid. Total scam, buyer beware. No wonder why they don’t allow reviews on their website.

I have been going back and worth with Vanity Planet since November 2020!. They have not sent me my money back after sending them back the parcel I received. They do not give any solutions and their attitude stinks. Never will be ordering from then again. Such a shame as I have ordered from them quite a few times.

I purchased a ionic facial steamer in November 2020. The package arrived in a timely manner but when I opened it to use and the steam came out of the back. I was told the return policy is if it's opened it is not returnable. I contacted customer service via email and was instructed to video the unboxing and show how product was defective. I did so. Three months later email after they "investigated" I was promised another product.
Still emailing customer service and keep instructing me for video of defective product.
I, like many others will probably file a claim with my credit card company.

UNREAL!

Unbelievable! I’d give this company no stars if I could. I reached out through their official Instagram page to cancel an order for a facial steamer that I made on their website, www. vanityplanet.com immediately after ordering it. (I realized I already had one so don’t need another). I sent them a direct message complete with my order number asking to please cancel the order and they responded (days later) basically asking what they could do for me.. Uh? Read my message? That was my first red flag.. They were stalling responding to my message on purpose. Then I got asked why I want to return it, I explained why and once again.. days later to reply got told to, “make up my mind”. Ummm.. excuse me? I don’t believe I said anything rude or offensive to warrant that kind of response. Also note, they advertise their products on their website to be marked down like 80% which one should be leery about quality-wise in the first place. I ordered my first facial steamer against my better judgement. (Got it from Bed, Bath, and Beyond).. If you need to return an item, forget it. They delete any negative comments customers make about their customer service on their IG page and set up their website to where the return policy pages keep buffering to make you think there’s, “a problem on your end” and therefore unable to make a return. The person I spoke to through DM accused my internet connection of not working.. Not to mention they don’t offer free returns and make you submit photos of your, “unopened” products as a requirement if you can even get to that point in the website. What kind of policy is this?? I feel bad for the people that spent more than I did on products.. I’m out 60 bucks and guess I’ll have another facial steamer. STAY AWAY.. I wish I could say the reviews your reading right now are false, they are most definitely true. I thought some of these people were exaggerating..

DONT BUY FROM HERE

Let me start by saying I wish I had read the reviews before placing a large order like I did. However, I placed the order and waited about 3 and a half weeks before realizing that my order still didn't ship. When I emailed to figure out what was going on, they took days to get back and tell me that they were sold out of 1 of my 4 products I ordered.. yet they didn't ship anything. Basically told me I was crap out of luck and I would be waiting to get my package until all items are back in stock. My refund took over a month to process and I wish I never wasted my time or money into a business who is corrupt and doesn't care about the customers. Don’t let them fool you with their reply to our reviews saying they made things right, they surely didn’t. There’s a reason every review on here is the same negative experience.

Worst customer service I have ever received

Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Received a notification that my order had shipped - over 2 weeks ago and I’ve never received it! Contacted the company to hear that my order had been received but they had since sold out of the product! So why did I receive information that it had shipped? Vanity planet isn’t willing to try and help me out by sending from a different warehouse and just keep insisting since my closest warehouse is sold out I’m basically out of luck until they decide to get back in stock! Now the product isn’t even listed on their site! Glad I made a donation to a crappy company!

Horrible Customer service and still waiting for my refund

What ever you do do not order from this company. I ordered a Christmas present for my daughter that I ended up returning. The item was unopened in it's original packaging that I sent back using their shipping label. I can confirm it was received several weeks ago and yet I do not have my refund. I have emailed several times with no response.

This company are a bunch of crooks that are only after your money. They have horrible customer service and are non responsive. Do yourself a favor and shop with a company that cares and you can call when you have an issue.

Horrible products espesially the spinn…

Horrible products espesially the spinn brush. Dont buy if you want a long lasting product. I got the brush like 2 years ago and it just stopped working by it self it dosent spin and i have another electronic product that i got for 20 dollars from eBay that lastes longer than this bad spin brush But vanity planet is an actual Brand that sell «high quality products» right? But the brush stopped working and i asked for a replacment and they told me to buy a new one Nice... never buying anything from this website again 😡

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! Find the item on another site. It’s worth it to pay a little extra. If your item is defective, poor quality or in perfect condition but you don’t like it- they will not accept a return. I purchased a skincare fridge that looked cheap and was poor quality and made a ton of noise in my bathroom. It was in perfect condition but they would not accept the return simply because I opened the box! How can you tell if you like something or the quality of something if you can’t even SEE it?!? I’ll never purchase from here again.
