UPS My Choice: Useless and STRESSFUL
I've been a My Choice member for 2 years and the service is AWFUL. The access point I'd chosen went out of business, yet I couldn't update the location via the app or the website for over a year. And when I would have packages redirected to a different UPS store, they'd charge me $5 to $15, saying the access point pickup didn't showing up on their end, despite the app saying it was free. They'd demand a fee and said I had to contact UPS the BRAND for a refund.
Next, I spend hours trying to get through the system to talk to a human, only to get redirected multiple times back into the AI. Even if the agent gives you a direct number fo rbilling, you get sent back to the AI system. Eventually, after 2+ hours, a human UPS agent just shrugs, says that's the franchise charging, and refuse to refund me anything, while still taking my $19.99 yearly membership fee. More than once.
The stress cherry on top was when I was cancelling my account, the agent asked for the exact amount I paid for my membership as "proof." I said $20, she said that wasn't it, and had me hunt all over my accounts and bank statements for.....$19.99. Lmfao.
My Choice: not only useless, but downright stressful. Don't pay for stress, ppl.
UPS my choice premium - Not worth it
UPS my choice premium does not always work. Stick with the free version, no sense paying for a service that may or may not work. I upgraded and paid for the premium service so I would know when I have a package coming to me. Well that didn't happen so I asked for a full refund for my amount just charged to me on 3/27/26. Nope only getting a partial credit, and I have not received it yet so who knows. Again UPS MY CHOICE PREMIUM is not worth the upgrade

No Help - Lost Box
I shipped 6 boxes from TX to FL. UPS driver kept saying that they needed gate access for delivery. There is no gate at subdivision. I reached out to UPS where I was told that the boxes would be stopped from delivery. Did not happen. I had to pay an additional $7.99 per box to be rerouted to a UPS Access Point for pickup. One of my boxes was delivered somewhere and no one knows where it is. You try to file a claim on the website and it wants all your bank info for Zelle. Not happening. I also reached to the UPS store I used to send the boxes. No reply. So box is lost. Next time I will just use the post office.

They showed up late day one, said I wasn’t there to sign, yeah because I had work. Day 2 wouldn’t let me reschedule delivery so got me again. Day three I took a pto from work sat at home from 9am to 9pm and they gave me nothing, never showed. And now today I have to work again and it’s final attempt with no one to offer me help on their end.

I spent 2 days waiting for the package because they refused to leave the package at the front door. I literally had to wait outside for hours just so they didn't leave with the damn thing. If I had known Michaels shipped UPS I wouldn't have ordered the damn thing. Screw ups.

They delayed my package because of “severe weather” even though the roads were perfectly fine to drive on and now my package is getting here too late! 😡
I was supposed to get a delivery
I was supposed to get a delivery, but due to work I was not available. After tracking, I was supposed to receive the package after 2 days and was getting updates. I waited for a package for 8 hours, constantly climbing 2 floors up/down and they just decided sending a message to inform wasn't unnecessary on further updates. It's 21st Jan 2026 and today NO UPDATES on my package!!Very disappointed!!
Poor service
Poor service. Avoid at all costs. UPS in the US is probably the first logistics company that’s worse than the state post office. No support email, no chat support, only a callback option. Trying to pay import duties? Good luck with that. After the third redirect I was given a 35-minute wait time and still never got connected. Absolute madness.
This is Unbelievable
This is Unbelievable but I ordered a replacement engine hoist from Amazon and they only ship it UPS. Well for the second time UPS managed to Damage the engine hoist and make it undeliverable. How do you damage a 200 pound steel engine hoist to the point it cant be delivered? They then reported it damaged and undeliverable to Amazon But closed the case by saying they had proof of delivery. I am amazed that a company with such poor performance can even stay in business.

Ronny reddy the so called manager at Legacy East is very rude and disrespectful towards the customers . He has no sense of respect. Someone that is disrespectful should not be allowed to work there and needs to be terminated.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I would give UPS zero stars if I could. I waited at home all day for my designated delivery window. The driver said they attempted to deliver and I wasn’t home but that is an outright LIE. The driver never came and never left a notice on my door. I ordered Apple devices valued at $1,000 that I am now responsible for

UPS is the worst, most incompetent, most disorganized, and the most nasty and cold-hearted Company that I've ever encountered, or ever heard of in these 64 years that I've been living on this Planet!
On November 5th, 2025, I sent a hand-made gift from me from Windsor, Ontario, Canada to my friend who lives in Texas in the United States.
First of all, the gift traveled all across North America before it even got to him in Texas, and then, when it finally arrived to my friend in Texas after 10 days, it was all damaged, and then, when UPS returned to my friend's house to photograph the damaged gift, UPS then took it back with them and left, claiming that they need to inspect it, and then, UPS never returned it, and now, UPS is claiming that the parcel is now LOST in their system.
LOST IN THEIR SYSTEM??
How can this be?
So, the $316.79 that I paid up front here in Canada to ship the gift to my friend on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025 is NOT being reimbursed or refunded by UPS back to me, and, the Parcel is listed as: "LOST IN THEIR SYSTEM", and now UPS is charging my friend an additional $89.97.....
WOW!
This is worse than any nightmare!
What could be worse than this?
I (the sender) spent $316.79 up front to ship the parcel to my friend in Texas, and my friend in Texas (the receiver) is also being charged $89.97 all while the package was damaged, and then lost, and, UPS refuses to send any refund at all, while the parcel was damaged and lost!

What the hell kind of company is this?
If I could give them ZERO stars out of 5 stars, I'd give them ZERO STARS!

UPS failed to pick up a bio sample from me to send to a lab on time. The sample is now too old. Therefore, I might die from cancer. I tried to file a complaint with a UPS manager, but they insulate themselves and make it impossible to talk to them or to get any satisfaction. I condemn this company!

I shipped out a birthday package to our daughter within the same state and it was immediately lost within 20 miles of two UPS facilities. The Niles, MI store is one to stay away from. We shipped one other item earlier this year and it too was lost! How can this happen? We do not ship things often. It has to be fraud/theft from Niles to St. Joseph MI. How can we ship 2 items and both are both lost in a short period of time?
Terrible delivery service
Late delivery, don't come on day agreed upon, driver "couldn't find my house". I live in a normal suburban area with clear road markings and the houses are numbered.
Still haven't gotten my package.

If you decide to ship with UPS, be prepared for enormous frustration, especially if you purchase insurance through them. You need to listen carefully, as it will be very difficult to understand what the UPS representatives in India or Latin America who handle insurance claims are saying. They'll keep you on the back burner. I've stopped shipping with UPS and am now very happy with my new shipping company. Never again UPS.
Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless. Customs are sending us emails for packages that have nothing to do with us requesting for information and the email they send from says don’t reply to it so people must be wondering why their packages aren’t clearing and it’s because information requests are sent to wrong recipients. We have received 5 so far, all requesting for additional information to be replied to within 48 hours and they have nothing to do with us!! UPS sort this mess out!
What was once the premier delivery…
What was once the premier delivery company, has taken a precipitous drop and is quickly approaching the abysmal performance and nonexistent customer service of the US Postal Service.
Drivers won't pickup if it's raining because they don't want to get out of their truck. They throw a missed pick up notice out the window and drive away.
And there is literally no way to speak with anyone because they put up endless barriers hoping you'll give up.
Horrible.
