Good Morning

I am sorry to read that you have not been communicated to.

I have looked at your account and can see that you placed the order on Friday 17th April and we emailed on that day and on the Tuesday 21st asking you to confirm the order. Since then I can see that you have been communicated to on 23rd and 28th April and 4th May with the progress of your order.

All order updates are also displayed on your driver portal.

If you feel that there should be more communication during the order phase, which does rely on information from the dealership and from your account, waiting for your employer to approve the order. please do let us know so that we can improve our communication processes moving forward

Thank you Alfie

My experience with Tusker was, let’s say, a bit of a rollercoaster, and not always the fun kind where you get a photo at the end!

However, what could have been a frustrating experience was completely turned around by the kindness of one outstanding member of staff, Alfie Paxton.

Alfie didn’t just “handle” the situation, he took ownership of it in a way that’s increasingly rare. He spent a huge amount of time working through the issues with me and keeping me updated. At times it genuinely felt like he cared more about resolving the problem than I did, which is both impressive and slightly humbling.

What really stood out was how approachable and friendly he was throughout. Even when things weren’t straightforward, Alfie remained calm, understanding, and perhaps most importantly, human! There were no “scripted”responses, no brushing things off, just genuine effort and clear communication. He also went well above and beyond what I’d expect, following up proactively and making sure everything was properly sorted.

By the end of it all, what started as a frustrating experience turned into a genuinely positive one and that’s entirely down to the efforts of Alfie!

Myself and Tusker may have experienced a few bumps in the road together but having someone like Alfie on the team makes a world of difference. He’s a real asset to the company, and I’m incredibly grateful for the time, effort, and patience he put into helping me.

Thias really got things moving for us

We thought things would move automatically and went and sold our car as soon as we'd placed the order online. Hadn't heard anything for a week so called up. Thias carefully explained the process and managed my expectations. Given our situation, she sorted everything out very quickly, and, fingers crossed I should have my car in a couple of weeks.

Going above and beyond

A very good service

A very good service, however, communications was a bit haphazard. An example is, I was informed that vehicle had been confirmed as a Total Loss (via email) and when I called the assessing garage to confirm when I could drop off the spare key, they did not know the total loss had been agreed.

Almost too easy!

Excellent customer service!

Tarek was superb! He helped me get through the screens to order my new vehicle quickly, easily and calmly, and before I knew it, it was all done ( with an address update added as well!)

Great customer service to go with a new car

Overall I've always had a great service from Tusker. I was kept updated throughout the order phase and more recently the customer service team has been great. I had a few details to update and some general questions about servicing etc. and the team member I spoke to, Charlotte, was amazing, really helpful and polite and resolved all of my queries and requests very quickly.

Tusker customer service

I had the best experience with Tusker customer service team!

I needed an edit to my contract adding a new driver and the team pulled out all the stops and got this sorted well within the timeframe! Just in time for the weekend where I needed the additional driver to help driving!

They completed my request within 4 days! Super quick for a request that had to go through the insurance company and work!

Special thanks and shout out to Shauna, Chloe and Marcia thank you so so much! You are all stars!

I would highly recommend them!!

Incorrect Lead Time

The lead time shown on the website was not even remotely close to the lead time communicated to me, once the order was placed with the vendor.

I was told 11 weeks of lead time before entering into an agreement but it was updated to 21 weeks once I placed the roader.

I understand there is a caveat to say "lead time" can change in reality but surely this big a difference should be communicated before hand.

Thank you for your comments. We can see that your order was placed on 16/04/2026 and that the lead time on this vehicle is scheduled for delivery at the end of August 2026.

Tusker rely on manufacturing data to advise of projected lead times when advising drivers however we also do advise in our documentation that lead times are estimated and will only be confirmed once a vehicle order has been placed with the dealership.

We are sorry to read that you are disappointed with the approximate 19 week lead time on the vehicle and if you would like to look at vehicles with a quicker lead time you are welcome to contact the team and look at our extensive range of stock and arriving soon vehicles.
