I had the misfortune to be enrolled with TPT for my workplace pension. I suppose it was ok at first until they decided to totally update their portal, during which time it was impossible to service your pension in any way. We were initially told this would take about 9 months to complete, but in actual fact it was extended to nearly a year, which I do not feel is acceptable. The real problems began however when I decided to take early retirement and applied to withdraw my pension pot and transfer it to another provider. To cut a long story short I applied in mid January and did not get access to my money until almost the end of May. During this time I was given deadline after deadline as to when I would receive my funds. I raised 2 complaints, both of which they acknowledged and upheld, but they still hung onto my cash. I was never given any credible explanation for the delay. I finally threatened to go to the Pensions Ombudsman and only then did they pay up. They also offered me a "goodwill payment"of £150 providing I accepted that as being the end of the matter. By this time I was sick of the whole process and so agreed to accept their offer, but even this was not forthcoming and I ended up having to follow their internal resolution procedure to get them to pay up. There doesn't seem to be any communication between their departments. The number of times I was told " I'll escalate this to my team leader"; it became their default response. No one ever called me back, despite promising to keep me updated, and I had to chase them and jump through hoops, just to get my hands on what was rightfully mine. My financial adviser told me he had never heard anything like it.

I had been trying to register for the online service for the longest time without any success. Paula Williams, the representative who took my call this time was incredibly patient and very helpful. She was professional and saw what the issue was straight away and was able to guide me through the whole process step by step. Paula stayed helpful throughout and made sure I was able to complete my registration successfully.

Not even one star.
I had this pension through some bank work that I did for 13 years. The original pension was moved to TPT when another company took over.
When I finished this bank work, I requested to transfer into my main pension.
THIS TOOK NINE MONTHS, a lot of my time on emails and phone calls
I was not informed that there were in fact two pension pots (one from before company was taken over). After approx 4 months (and a lot of hassle),a small amount was transferred, leaving me confused. This is when I was informed of the two pots. So once again, I had to restart the process. At one point, I was informed that it was on hold due to admin charge of 83p. Let's start again.
For the sake of a total of £4,000 this was a nightmare, using up my precious time on my only day off on a regular basis to try to resolve it.
But this money was mine, and I wanted it transferred to my main pension.
When I complained, TPT even denied that they had received my original request, even though a different department had confirmed the date. Their response was that they had dealt with it all in good time (or words to that effect).
It took a total of 9 months to transfer £4000.
Thank goodness I no longer have to deal with this company

I needed retrieve some documents and couldn’t locate my hard copies , Sabrina was exceptionally helpful and with her support I was able to obtain a new password and obtain what was required from the portal.

It was done rather promptly too and very much appreciated.

The telephone representative was very patient and helpful.

Raj was very pleasant and reassuring. He managed the call efficiently, and I expect to receive the documents I requested as described. Thank you for a positive experience.
