Credit rating trashed by their error and they won't help

TFS neglected to use the new bank account information I submitted on their website on August 9, 2024, for recurring payments, which I’ve made without a “miss” since I acquired the car from Toyota in 2018. Nor did the website indicate that a new recurring instruction was necessary when I changed the bank account. Toyota failed to make the debits from the new bank account, and then declared me delinquent!

I only learned of the problem when I saw that my FICO score dropped by 117 points on October 11th, 2024, via Experian.

The amount in arrears was paid the day I was made aware via the credit report downgrade (i.e. October 11, 2024) and the recurring order is in place. I have screenshots supporting all of the foregoing.

I requested that TFS amend my status with the credit reporting agencies – Experian, Equifax and Transunion – to not delinquent - and do what TFS can towards restoring my prior credit standing. I did this directly with TFS, and then through the auto dealer when I saw they wouldn't budge. They were helpful and escalated with their contact at TFS. However, TFS still refuses to acknowledge their error, as reflected in the form letter I received dated November 18 2024. It matches exactly the one they sent me after I contacted them directly, dated they (that's how I see it), and I'm still stuck with a large hit to my credit rating.

I would give -10 if this was possible... Run away from them . The biggest mistake you could do is to get in any kind of contact with them . So we bought a car in April 2024 on finance with them . Car comes up faulty in less than 30 days , we returned to dealer multiple times before contacting Toyota and file a formal complaint with them . No response from Toyota that complaint was received. So we called them . Apparently emails send to yahoo mail bounced back . Ok could happen. So I change the email to Gmail. Or atleast I taught so . 3 days later I found out that email hasn't been changed ( so another 1 hour on phone ) ,after 4 long phone calls , million times been transferred from one person to another . FINALLY I get conformation that my complaint was actually received. So far so good , but unfortunately this is just the beginning. So i suppose to get response from Toyota financial 4-8 weeks after I placed the complaint. Fine , 4 weeks pass so I called them to see if there is any update on the case . So after 45 min on phone transfered between 4 different operators I ve been promised that person who is dealing with my case will contact either me or my wife on next day . Happy days ... but a week no word from them , so i called them again , same empty promise again .Now 2 weeks later I decided to again waist some of my time and call them again . Apparently I will someday get a call from them . Meanwhile I'm paying for scrap car parked in my driveway that I neither can use or return . And also I have been assured today from the person on the phone that their investigation is that car faulty or not will be done without even car to be seen by independent service . So I'm assuming person dealing with my claim have crystal ball that will tell him/her is car faulty or not . I can't hide my disappointment from this company. It's just a joke .

Why does it take an hour to get…

Why does it take an hour to get through??? We made a payment online as TFS had the incorrect banking details and then after speaking to someone they said that everything is in order but they still tried to debit from the wrong account. It’s ridiculous to hold on for an hour and not getting through but they want your money. Worst service I’ve ever experienced.

Don’t fall in to Toyota financial scam…

Don’t fall in to Toyota financial scam calling it “WEB ISSUES” taking Triple payments in one day…Toyota took 2 different payments same day a regular, and twice as much IN ONE DAY, had to borrow money so wouldn’t charge for Non-sufficient.
Then 3days later see another double payment scheduled to be process!

I called Toyota agent said sorry “it’s was Toyota’s technical issue” and then transfer me to Resolution center! Agent at resolution said “sorry can’t do anything contact you bank”
Ask for contact info of superior he said can’t give you any!!

Negligent Service

Once the car is paid off they are meant to send a lien release to the DMV. This never happened. The car has been paid off for 5 years and after 4 phone calls, I still can't get them to send the lien release. As a result, we can not register our car in the new state we moved to. Awful service. I will be reporting this to the Attorney General's office of MA.

Plain and simple...a complete joke

Plain and simple...a complete joke! Seek financing somewhere else. They never deposited my payoff checks in a timely manner so we stopped payment and then they decided to try to cash them over a month later. Back to square one. Just avoid. They've already had the second set of checks three and a half weeks and still waiting for them to post.

Incompétents et méprisants.

Incompétents et méprisants.
Suite au décès de ma mère, la concession nous dit oralement que le véhicule nous reviens via l’assurance décès, 4 mois plus tard pas de nouvelles, relance de ma part et là l’assurance me dit qu’elle n’a pas connaissance du décès de ma mère ! Ils me demande dossier médical ce qui réouvre ma plaie, mais l’avis du médecin qui s’est occupé de ma mère ne suffit pas ils veulent un compte rendu d’hospitalisation. Au bout d’UN AN le médecin « Conseil » de TOYOTA stipule qu’aucune indemnité ne sera versée car ma mère a effectivement eu un suivi medical d’une durée supérieur à 30 jours dans les 24 derniers mois ! À 78 ans … Bref assurance décès imposée lors de la souscription de La LOA et 1an et de mensualité payés pour finir par un refus de prise en charge ! Comment appeler cela !?

Méprisant

Toyota pro ace en LOA depuis juillet 2021. Acheté l'issue de la LOA le 26 août 2024. Nous avions contacté le 5 août le service toyota finances pour connaître la procédure après ce dernier versement. Le monsieur nous a dit que les papiers du véhicule nous seraient transmis dans un délai de 2 à 3 semaines après le dernier paiement. En l'absence de réception de ces documents nous avons contacté le service toyota finances le 7 octobre . La femme que nous avons eu nous a dit que les papiers n'ont pas été envoyés car nous ne les avons pas réclamés!!! Depuis quand un acheteur doit demander les papiers du véhicule qu'il achète au vendeur, pour pouvoir immatriculer son véhicule ? Oú est mentionné cette obligation sur le contrat toyata? Que vaut notre appel du 5 aout? Les délais de réception sont annoncés à 3 semaines soit fin octobre, 2mois après avoir acheté notre véhicule. Aucune réponse au mail transmis suite à cet appel téléphonique, ni du service toyata finances ni du concessionnaire de viry chatillon. Juste du mépris....Pour nous dorénavant,et pour notre entourage TOYOTA est un constructeur automobile à fuir. Voyez un autres constructeurs.
Obligée de mettre une étoile sinon je ne peux pas publier mais mon 1er choix est d'en mettre aucune

What a useless services. Cheap call centre the other side of the world with delays so can’t hear people talk in real time! Useless staff who can’t help me. All I want to do is change a sodding account sort code and account number to continue paying for the dam car!! Do not call them. Complete joke to deal with on various attempts to sort!!! If you want paying you have my details 🍆

Horrible company

Horrible company. I have sent a huge principle payment a month ago to them and they acknowledge they received the check but said they are real busy and it could tak another month to just deposit the check. I have called numerous times for a supervisor and never does one get on the phone with me. I have reported them to the consumer financial protection bureau. This company sucks. Never will help. They hang up on me after I ask to speak with a supervisor. I would highly recommend run from this company. They have told me 11 times they will call me back same day after a manager is available and never do they. This is so illegal to hold checks
And not deposit.
Worst company ever dealt with!!

I am extremely disappointed with the…

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Toyota Financial Services. I sold my car to Carfax on July 30th, and they promptly sent the check for the remaining balance to Toyota. However, Toyota Financial did not process the payment until three months later. This unreasonable delay resulted in Toyota falsely reporting missed payments and sending my account to collections.

Despite the fact that the payment was sent on time, my credit score took a significant hit due to Toyota’s incompetence. Trying to resolve the situation has been a nightmare, with unhelpful customer service and no accountability for their mistakes.

I expected better from Toyota, but this experience has completely shattered my trust in their financial services. Be cautious if you're considering financing through them—this could happen to you too.

Aucune réponse du service succession

En lisant les nombreux avis négatifs, je comprends mieux.
Suite au décès de mon mari en juillet dernier, à ce jour, je n’ai toujours pas obtenu de réponse du service succession de Toyota financial service, cela malgré mes nombreuses tentatives d’appel (ça ne décroche jamais) et mes nombreux mails. J’ai appelé directement le 0147016030 pour enfin avoir quelqu’un, mais j’ai obtenu cette réponse : on ne peut rien faire, c’est le service succession qui gère cela.
Donc 4 mois après le décès de mon mari, je ne sais toujours pas ce qu’il y a lieu de faire avec l’emprunt de son véhicule.
PLUS JAMAIS, je n’achèterai Toyota.
C’est honteux de laisser un client dans un tel désarroi, après un décès.

Phoned

Phoned. Got through to someone who used one word sentence...no...yes... what....then said they don't do cooling off period although it's the law....put me through to someone who could hopefully string a sentence together but end up on hold for 20 minutes so gave up. As bad as reviews say.

Dont Payoff Online. Send a check.

Went to go payoff my vehicle today. Toyota Finacial's website caused an error and said try again. Which I did. Now I have 2 payments of 12K getting ready to be deducted from my account. Called and spoke to Jessica, Edgar and Justin. They did not have a resolution other than for me to call my bank and pay the fee to cancel payment or wait until the payments are processed and then get a check mailed to me. Evidently Toyota can't cancel a payment once its submitted. No offer to compensate me for my time, frustration or paying interest on the money they are not "borrowing" from me.

Be aware, for any issues you need to wait 8 weeks to receive help, very bad and unprofessional people here, very bad rewies this company need to be banned to ofer this type off service

Very poor financial services support

Very poor financial services support, I have a problem with Steven Eaglee Bishop's Stortford and they wait 8 weeks to give me a answer and finally after 8 weeks at 16:00 pm they send me a final decision, be aware people to this very bad and not professional financial services, avoid them. I will advise everyone about this bad communication and long time to answer.

Treating Customer Unfairly

My monthly payment is scheduled for 28th of every month and I made payment on 8/27/2024 yet they withdrew the same amount from my account on the 28th of August 2024. My account was overdrawn and I contacted TFS to process a refund which they said takes 7-10 business days. It was taking longer than expected and I contacted them again. I was told that a check was processed and has been mailed. As of today, Monday, September 17, 2024, nothing is in the mail. Since August 29, 2024 till now, absolutely nothing has been received. They can't be trusted. I had made it clear to their CSR that they screwed me up and it was affecting me paying other bills on time and so they should deposit it into my account, exactly where they made the withdrawal from. They seem to careless. What is the problem with TFS? Do they really care about their customers? This is not fair at all.
