Phoenix max waste of money.
I asked a simple, direct question: does the Phoenix Max support DDA Topix Cloud? They said yes, in writing. So I spent hours installing software, configuring drivers, and troubleshooting only for it to completely fail.
After going back and forth, they finally admitted it’s not possible at all with my device. Then, to top it off, they had the audacity to ask me “where did you see that Phoenix Max supports DDA Topix Cloud?” I pointed them back to their own email. Their first reply. Word for word.
No accountability. No explanation. Just another copy-paste apology and a recommendation to go buy yet another device their RLink X7/Lite.
This is not a support team. This is a team that guesses, gives you wrong answers with confidence, wastes your professional time, and then gaslights you about it. For anyone using these tools in a professional workshop environment, this kind of misinformation is not just frustrating — it’s unacceptable.
Avoid relying on their support for any critical diagnostic work. They clearly don’t know their own products, and you’ll pay the price for their ignorance. No accountability. No apology that means anything. Just a suggestion to go buy yet another device on top of the $4500 I already spent.
