Top Battery 

The battery arrived quicker than what I anticipated and it works perfectly well. I was quite scared after reading the negative reviews about the company however the service and product I received was brilliant.

Ordered from their web site based on model number of my laptop. the received battery did not fit. I emailed them asking for the correct battery. They ask me to return the battery to a UK address. I return it recorded delivery at my expense. 3 weeks go by with no word. So I email them. they claim they haven't got it.
I raise a dispute with PayPal, I supply the tracking number which was signed for and delievered. Paypal "resolved" the dispute in favour of the seller.

I used PayPal's telephone support and the reason given by them was that the UK address I had sent the package to was not registered with paypal. I sent paypal a pdf printout of my email conversation with top-battery, and a screenshot of their webpage which clearly shows a UK address, and 24 hours later, Paypal resolved the case in my favour. I still lost out on return postage though.

(Sidenote: With Paypal, beware that this kind of dispute can sometimes go against you. I once failed to receive an item from another seller, but because someone, somewhere had signed for it, Paypal resolved in favour of the sender, and I was without goods or a refund)

After ordering I was shocked to find that the payment (I used PayPal) went to an individual rather than a company. I then googled the company and was shocked again at how many people had had a bad experience. I waited over two weeks and nothing had arrived, so I e-mailed “top-battery” and they replied (in very bad English) that the battery must have got lost in the post and that they would send another. After another wait a battery did arrive, but it was not the same shape as the old one, I assumed this may have been due to it being a higher capacity, but when I tried to fit it into my laptop it would not fully engage and therefore would not activate the laptop or charge.
I emailed “top-battery” again and got further instructions in bad English that basically misunderstood the fact that the battery would not fit and so were useless to me. I e-mailed them again and asked for them to send me a battery that would fit (this being a month after I first ordered the battery) but have heard nothing since and this is another month on.

I have raised this with PayPal, but they have been of no real use having asked me to return the battery to the supplier, who is in China, using a tracked service. I could not find a tracked service that would do this for less than the battery cost and so reluctantly have had to concede that I have been conned and have lost my money.

DO NOT BUY from this seller as you may well have the same experience.

I received the battery quickly. It was the correct model. I had a problem early, but this was quickly resolved. I cannot understand why there are so many bad reviews. If I had read these before the purchase I should have probably shopped elsewhere and it would have cost me a lot more money.

Ordered battery came very quick but does not work in my laptop. Sent two emails no reply. They state on their website, We reply to emails within 24 hours !! They do not. I will try once more. Then will go a different route. Will let you know what happens.

I placed order for laptop battery and paid via paypal. As others have said I was also worried when payment went to individual as opposed to a company.Fact it was Chinese sounding did not bother me as most things bought get made in China. I read various reviews and was naturally worried. To my surprise everything went smoothly. E-mail saying battery was on its way.Arrived within about 3-4 days (and this was over Christmas). Battery was correct model and fit laptop and performance is as I would expect. It was also sent from a UK address. As requested I e-mailed them to confirm it arrived and got a polite response.As it turned out, I had nothing to worry about

I used the ca.top-battery.co apparently based in Canada. I guess they have a company in every country? Right. I ordered a "compatible" power adapter for my laptop. It took almost 2 months to receive it. It turns out the adapter is NOT compatible with my laptop. Everytime I would contact them it would take them 2 weeks to respond. They would write things to buy time but never accomplished anything. After finally agreeing to send me the right adapter, they asked me to return the one they had sent me. Of course not mentioning they would pay for return shipping although it was their fault. After a while a different guy emailed me telling me they would solve the problem. I haven't heard anything since despite my effort to communicate with them. It's been over 3 months since I placed the order. Their website is misleading, the info about their products is misleading and their customer service is appalling. I never received what I wanted.

I was extremely worried after I read the reviews. It took 19 days for the delivery to arrive which worried me a lot before. The battery arrived today. I was looking at the model no on the box of parcel which was wrong but when I opened it the battery was the same as I ordered. The battery worked and it was 71% charged. I charged it to 100% successfully. I expect that I won't have any problems with the battery in near future. But now it's working fine.

I would like to advise the customers that they should email the company about details of their battery before it arrives to make sure it's correct model if they have already placed an order. Thats what I did and I didn't get the wrong model. I know it's company fault that they send you a wrong product which you haven't ordered it.

I used these folks recently and found them very attentive. The item didn't fit so had to be returned. No problem and a full refund made.

It was probably just as well that I hadn't read the awful reviews of this company when I ordered a replacement battery for my Toshiba laptop. I had been persuaded to buy from them because of the reassurance of a 3 year warranty and a 60 day money back promise. The fact I could buy through Pay Pal also helped. It wasn't until I saw that the recipient of my payment had a Chinese name I began to investigate. I was not happy with what I read and awaited my battery with trepidation. So I was really surprise when it arrived within 48 hours was posted within UK (Southall) and securely packaged. It was the correct battery and was fitted in a few seconds it was already 50% charged. As per advice I ran it down to 2% and then fully recharged it in about 2 3/4 hours. It holds about 4+ hours charge, better than the Toshiba, and works perfectly. I had friendly email confirmation of it's dispatch and acknowledgement of my email saying it had arrived. So for me this has been a really good experience and I'm glad I didn't read those negative reviews before I placed my order. Whatever the problems for those customers they appear to be sorted out if my experience is typical of the current situation. Of course I note I am not the only one to submit a positive review but at the moment these are outnumbered by the really critical ones, hopefully the balance will now change. Incidentally I have absolutely no axe to grind with this review nor have I any personal involvement with the company I just want them to get a fair deal. One important point I would like to make is if it is still correct that this company is based in China and that any returned battery would have to be sent to them there, then this should be clearly stated on the website. An address for returns should also be enclose with the battery when it is delivered.

The battery was dispatched from China, not the UK, as stated on their website, so that may be misleading, especially if needed quickly, as the standard delivery time is 4-8 working days, which they don't tell you about on the website! The package was delayed in the UK customs office, BUT my every email was responded to, and I was given a tracking code to see where the package was. The product arrived today, professionally packed and works perfectly fine. Moreover, I bought a replacement battery with a bigger capacity, which I couldn't find anywhere else. Re-assuming, some adventures took quite a while but the outcome is very satisfying in terms of price and quality of the product.

The price on a replacement battery to my laptop was appeling but I now realize that it was too good to be true...I received a battery that was completely different from what I ordered. When I complained they told me to return the battery and I will then have a refund. I did return the battery (to China...) but I'm still, 3 months, waiting for the refund. I have sent them numerous e-mails on the subject and have had a few replies where they tell me that they will look into the matter ASAP...

Received battery quickly, but it didn't work at all. Sent e-mail and received prompt reply saying they would send another - it has not arrived and I've received no response to several further e-mails. Lodged a complaint with paypal and looking into trading standards. Do not use this company who are trading as in UK but are actually in China.

I ordered a replacement battery for a MacBook Pro from Top Battery. It arrived in a couple of days, but was flat and wouldn't accept charge. They sent a replacement, which also showed up promptly, and this one has functioned fine so far.

Purchased a battery for my five year old Acer Timeline.

Arrived to UK withing 5 days well packaged via "One World Express"

Battery arrived in a strong cardboard box, sandwiched between two thick pieces of foam and battery sealed in an anti static bag.

Fitted found to have a 70% charge (correct storage charge) now fully charged and working well.

Frankly I don't care if the supplier has an outpost on Jupiter with this kind of service... I would buy again from them in a heartbeat!

My battery did not arrive so I emailed. the reply was that they would send another one. I was really worried seeing the reports here but it has now arrived and seems to be OK.

To be fair, some of the problems reported could be attributable a to faulty charger rather than battery.

As it is chinese company posing as a UK one though, it is not a good idea to use them. I suggest DO NOT order online from anyone that does not have a UK landline phone number.

FRAUDSTERS OPERATING. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM

I purchased a replacement battery for my laptop, which arrived really quite quickly. However after 2 episodes of charging, the battery stopped holding charge. The battery life was also fairly poor, less than 2 hours. I emailed explaining the situation and received a very polite reply and a replacement battery, which again arrived quickly. However I am now having the same difficulties with this battery and no one is responding to my request for a return address and refund. I thought the battery seemed rather cheap, wish I'd reviewed the company before buying.

Used this company, was a little annoyed that they did not clearly state they were based in China. But saying that battery arrived after 10 days, was correct and seems to be doing the job.

Do not use the company - this is a freud. I ordered batteries which I did received but they didn't work at all. I tried to contact the seller but he was taking long to reply and kept apologizing and asking what was wrong. I contacted PayPal but they said the only way I would get my money back was to send the product back to the seller - which is in China. Till trying to resolve it with PayPal I had no clue that the batteries came from China as the website domain co.uk - suggests it's UK company. The seller said he would refund my money - BUT I NEVER GOT IT BACK. I kept contacting him for a month or more and each time he would say: Sorry I will refund your money. But I never got it back. It's been 3-4 months now. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I HOPE the website gets closed somehow! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
