Never received the Dyson battery I ordered - can't contact them either by phone or email

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! The batteries come from China and you will have a HUGE fight to get a refund from Paypal if you have a problem with it. They do not send you receipts so its quite difficult to work out which website it was purchased from - records in Paypal only refer to Tommydeal.

If you have bought a battery then this might help: DO NOT POST BACK - it is illegal to send lithium batteries from within the UK unless they are in the laptop/mobile etc that they were made for.

Mine arrived out of the packaging with no tape at all holding the box closed so there was no way I was going to put it into my laptop.

I let Tommydeal know and they did offer a refund if I paid for return postage (which would then be refunded ...). I then came across these reviews and read about how many people had not got a refund and had ended up further out of pocket by posting back.

I started a dispute with Paypal and all they did was refer to Tommydeal whose response was that I should now return it to China at my cost for a refund. I tried to respond but there was no way as all you could do was to send the tracking info once posted.

I started a complaint with Paypal Customer Services explaining why I wanted to return, what Tommydeal had offered and explained that I could not return as it is illegal so post Lithium batteries from within the UK. They were looking into it when I got an email saying I had one day to post or the case would be closed so in desperation I clicked on the button to send tracking info found a choice to put 'no tracking info available' and then added a note to explain my problem again i.e. item arrived damaged from careless packing at origin and illegal to post from within the UK and within 2 hours I had an email from them saying they had refunded full amount and one from customer services saying they notice that dispute had now been settled. Phew!! I think I was very lucky and hope this helps someone else either get a refund or to buy from somewhere else.

Wish I had read this site before purchasing my Dyson Battery - received goods, unfortunately after 6 weeks battery doesn't charge - Note to self - pay the extra a buy genuine parts!!!

They charged me for 2 batteries, I received no batteries - can’t contact them.

A nightmare. Batteries the wrong type, company now insist I return (at my cost) to China!!!

Agree with comments already posted and if I could i'd have given a minus score as the site is a bit of a joke. Normally so cautious when buying online and bells should have kicked in when the name of the company came up as Tommydeal. Money has been taken from my accunt but no sign of the battery I ordered an no way of contacting the company the battery was ordered from,

Ordered a battery for a Nokia phone. Charged it and it was flat after about 16 hours. After reading the other reviews I won’t bother to send it back as it looks like it would be a waste of time. Wish I’d found the reviews before I ordered. Just put it down to experience.

Paid forty five pounds to this company thinking I was buying from an English company, for a Dyson v6 vac battery. It was from China. One month on the battery no longer works. How can this company keep getting away with this? Hope others read the reviews, I wish I had before I paid for my order. Be warned. Keep away.

Bought a laptop battery with 18 months warranty, it failed after a few months. Contacted them they do not want to know, I would give a minus score if I could.

As other say, Top Batteries are a complete scam. I am down £30.
A completely flat unworking battery sent to me. Company returns label completely fictitious with Hermes logo and Amazon return address. Why would I waste more money posting this heavy object to nowhere?
I do wonder how they can get away with this robbery over all the years...

Do not use scam unable to get refund wrong item delivered no paperwork no return address

The battery arrived flat and would not accept a charge. The seller then advised that if I returned the battery, they would refund the postage and the purchase cost. I had to send a number of emails and then get PayPal involved before the purchase cost was refunded - the return postage costs has never been refunded.
Avoid like the plague

Shocking scam of a company, if it even it a Company. I ordered a battery for my MacBook Pro and it arrived damaged and completely dead, and unable to charge. It was also very light and not worth the money I had paid even if it worked.

After telling 800pc it was faulty, I had an email to say they would replace. After a few days i chased them only to find they knew nothing of the issue and I had to go through th the whole story again. When I asked for a refund they stopped answering me. Needless to say I’ve had to get a refund via a dispute with PayPal. They are fakes! DO NOT USE

Bought a replacement battery and they sent a different one than advertised. No customer care to contact. Total scam. Do not buy from 800PC.com or any of their aliases companies.

Bought a replacement battery for my MacBoook Pro but when it arrived it didn't hold any charge or have any power.
Currently in a Paypal dispute because i've returned the item yet not been given a refund.
Absolute scam!! This seller intentionally sells inadequate products, offers exchange after exchange then doesn't refund item when they are faulty.
Chinese company - pretending not to be!

Ordered a vacuum battery. Received, doesnt work correctly. Unable to speak to seller by telephone. Email responses in pigeon English but no resolution. Out of pocket by £40 and no vacuum.

Ordered a battery, it arrived, it didn't recharge correctly. Tried to return it (via Amazon for unknown reasons), Post Office lost it. No battery, out of pocket. Whole experience very disappointing.

Ordered a battery for my underwater camera on Monday 20th May as i was going scuba diving on Thursday 24th and after reading reviews on here began to panick and sent them an email explaining that i really needed it by Thursday well i will have to say i am very very happy it arrived today within 2 days UK delivery my experiance with Top Batteries was very positive Gez

God Damn Stole my Money Never recived my money paid through paypal what a joke , lost out on £50.00 why did i not do the research lesson learned , dont trust pay pal or PRIME BATTERY, this company uses many
aliases do your research i emailed the eric guy many times not once have the responded !!!! and paypal were no use at all dont take the risk not worth it !!! lost my money

This is a scam site. The website uses a Royal Mail logo on the homepage to give the impression that all the batteries are in the UK and despatched from the UK. In fact it is all based in China and the batteries take 2 weeks to arrive.

If the battery doesn't work, which happened to me, then it costs about the same as the battery to send it back by tracked delivery, as required. So basically if you get a faulty one, you have lost your money.
