This is my third time writing a review here because I have found that it is the only way to get TC to respond. Recently, there was a bug where customers were getting charged twice when purchasing one of my products. It didn't happen every time, but enough that I was having to refund several people every month. I reported it to TC on November 10th. A week later, I emailed asking if there was any update and received no response. I emailed them another week later and have still received no response. This has been my experience with TC since they were taken over by a VC over a year ago. There are constant bugs, and TC is in no hurry at all to solve them or respond to their customers. However, if you come to TrustPilot and leave a 1-star review, for sure, they will get back to you. Unfortunately, this is the only way for you to get their attention because they are more concerned with a public image than actually helping their customers. I have actually had calls with two separate TC representatives over the past year regarding their terrible customer service, but absolutely nothing has changed, and I doubt it ever will.
Update- as predicted, I received a response to my issue only after posting this review. However, the issue is still not solved, and the representative clearly had no idea what he was talking about.
Update as of Jan 27th: Thrivecart flagged this review" for containing defamatory content", but Trust Pilot responded "We've assessed the content flagged by the business, and determined that it's not defamatory. Therefore, we've put your review back online." TC really does not want the truth to come out, and instead of hiring more competent coders, they respond by trying to get truthful reviews pulled.

I am overall extremely satisfied with ThriveCart: the lifetime access instead of yet another subscription, the user-friendly interface, the numerous functions, and the quick and effective customer service all play a role in my 5 stars. Today, I needed an issue resolved and in less than an hour, it was already dealt with, although it's Sunday.

The founder of Thrivecart has handed over his baby. You can really feel it. Not only were no real updates about important changes sent out, like the fact that Thrivecart no longer works unlimitedly as it did before. Without a connected payment system, Thrivecart is useless.
There were also no improvements to the UI/UX, and simple renewals (which, by the way, were already discussed with users before the takeover) are now only available via subscription. The takeover was the worst thing the founder of Thrivecart could have done... but certainly the best for his wallet. No idea. In any case, I cannot recommend Thrivecart to anyone. The support is slow and also seems to know little about the SaaS "Thrivecart" that was purchased.
As others have already mentioned, only more errors are being programmed, and the time taken to fix them suggests they don’t have good in-house developers. I’d rather pay 7.5% of every sale and have a merchant who takes care of everything, support that knows customer experiences are more important than just the product, and that the checkout page is not what leads to the actual purchase.
A toddler can drive a bumper car, but really stepping on the gas and driving on a higher level—that requires practice and maturity. That’s how it is with Thrivecart after it was taken over. They’re in experiment mode, instead of playing at a higher level!

I recently subscribed to thrive cart, and I was actually astonished on how easy it was to set up. With that said.
It did take a bit of effort to set up, but all the questions that I had were answered in really quick time by the support tickets that I sent in. I ended up getting my shop set up from scratch in about a day. It was my first time ever setting anything like this up. The support for this product is hands down the best support i've ever experienced online with anything.

I first joined ThriveCart on the 23rd of February, 2016, and want to give them 5 stars because have never had a problem with them in all those years... Even throughout all of the updates.
Plus, their support is excellent!
ThriveCart just works, and I also love the simplicity of their 'Learn+' area making membership sites simple to create - it's so good being able to direct customers to straight there to login right after payment - it's all built-in - no messy, or convoluted, 3rd-party membership software to worry about.

What I REALLY appreciated about Winsell is that he showed me in a video, HOW to do what I needed to do to resolve my problem AND he responded to my email within 15 minutes. It makes a huge difference.
