Relaxing good instructions
Great somatic exercise programme to release physical stress
Doing the 3 course bundle for the second time, absolutely love doing the somatic exercises before bed to release stress in my body and to complement all the nervous system regulation I am doing outside of this. I realised last year I had still had physical stress in my body despite years of talking therapy/counselling and this was the missing piece. Thank you!

These courses have supported me so much. This is my 3rd time coming back to the full course but I definitely have integrated the movements I learned into my everyday routine. One benefit I did not expect was how doing somatic movements would impact healthy bowel movements. I am also not spinning out in my head and able to fall asleep quickly. Still struggling with staying asleep the whole night but when I do wake up I use some of the exercises to fall back to sleep. I highly recommend taking care of yourself in such a simple and profound way. Your body will thank you!

Healing My Back Pain
When I started the somatic exercises I was having some lower back pain. I was surprised that I was not only able to do the exercises without pain, but at how quickly my back pain went away.

Easy to fit even on busy days and feels good
I've completed day 8 of the 5 bundle 90-days program to release stress and I'm enjoying it very much so far. The exercises are extremely easy to fit in the busiest of days. They all feel amazing, except maybe one or two that were challenging to me, but it's ok, I'm just very tense and maybe had never learned to release some of the tension on certain parts of the body. I still sleep badly but during the day I feel good -I'm also doing strength exercises and I feel this combined with the stress-release exercises is georgeous and I'm starting to feel good in my body, which is so exciting to me.

So relaxing, and feels so good on my hips and back. Like a gentle movement I didn't even know I needed. Cant wait to continue it and get all the benefits of consistency.
This guidance has become for me learning a non-optional forgotten language
These exercises fulfil physiological needs that I definitely did not know I had. It feels like the body is able to articulate - to stay in the room or space, to sigh or breathe out, to stretch or to cry - just like my voicebox can speak. It's like a forgotten language. My feelings of numbness and of spacing out (dissociating) are decreasing and I am sure that is because of how my body feels freer and more able to initiate movement. I am reassured and focused by Liz's neutral, gentle language and couldn't recommend the Workout Witch more for a supportive and deep approach to the somatic world of our bodies.
