The tour itself was very good
The tour itself was very good. However, they will change the price you reserve your day because of demand. They are extremely dishonest and don't care how they've affected you. Please use any other tour company as none of tbe others do what they do!!

Svar fra The Tour Guy
Hi Lori, thank you for sharing your feedback. We are glad to hear that you thought the Rome in a Day tour itself was very good, as our dedicated local guides put so much energy into providing an incredible, seamless experience that includes full day guiding, transportation, and skip the line access to both the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums.
We are genuinely sorry that the booking experience left you feeling frustrated, but calling our company dishonest is unfair to our team and our hardworking guides who deliver exceptional service every day. High demand, limited access sites like the Vatican and Colosseum experience rapid shifts in ticket availability. Because of this, pricing dynamically fluctuates based on tour dates, seasonality, and real time access costs, which is standard practice across the travel industry to ensure we can secure these highly competitive tickets for our guests.
We take great pride in what we do and are always committed to delivering top tier experiences. We hope you will reconsider your review for the sake of our guides and team.

Let your Tour Guide do the work so you can enjoy
We have enjoyed 3 tours with The Tour Guy - a walking tour of Florence with visits to Accademia and Uffizi galleries; the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palantine Hill; and the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St Peters Basilica. All three were terrific tours. Highly recommend using this company. Their guides are knowledgeable and entertaining!

The Tour Guy opportunity seems very…
The Tour Guy opportunity seems very promising, however I found significant difficulty with the organization in that a tour I book in Venice, that was confirmed, was cancelled close to the date of the tour-- I was not able to find an alternative due to the cancellation provided by The Tour Guide as a late notice. Be very cautious before you book with this group.

Svar fra The Tour Guy
Hi WKW, thank you for sharing your feedback. We are so sorry to hear about your frustration with this cancellation, as providing smooth and seamless travel experiences is always our priority. While we make every effort to avoid changes, rare schedule adjustments can occasionally happen due to strict venue availability or local operational factors. In those rare instances, our Customer Service team works hard to provide as much advance notice as possible along with alternative dates or tour options. We have been unable to locate a booking under your screen name to investigate what happened here.
