Unethical business
Unethical business, stay away! We booked a combo tour to see both the David and Duomo in Florence. Their tour guide for the first tour was significantly late. I did not think much of it as I assumed the same guide would be doing both tours. Well, we got done with the first and they said goodbye! Of course at that point there was likely no way we were going to make it to the next meeting point on time. But we used the restroom quickly and headed that way immediately as they said they may wait for us. We got there and no one was there. Not the end of the world, I get that things happen and I assumed they would make it right. So I contacted them and said to please issue a refund as your guide being late made us miss our second tour. To my surprise they told me that it was my fault that I missed the tour!! They said they tried to reach out to me and I did not respond. I looked and they sent me a text which I did not see as I was trying to hurry to get to the next meeting point. At the end of the day, it was their fault I missed the tour since their guide was late. It is not about the money, I could care less about it. Take responsibility and do the right thing in the future. But I will never find out as I will never use the tour guy again.

Svar fra The Tour Guy
Hi Corey, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are truly sorry for the stress and frustration this caused during your time in Florence. While our guides do their very best to stay strictly on schedule, unexpected delays can occasionally impact timing. That being said, we dropped the ball with how this was handled on our end. This issue has been brought directly to our Operations Manager to ensure our team handles these situations with much greater care and empathy moving forward. We are glad to share that a full refund for the second tour along with an additional credit has already been issued to your account. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve, and we hope to have the chance to deliver a seamless experience for you in the future.

Paula M was great
Paula M. Did a wonderful job as our tour guide for the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica! She made sure our tour stayed together and got our privileged access when people tried to butt in front of us. She spoke great English and pointed out not only the famous sites but lesser known ones and told stories about them. She was interested and enthusiastic. I wouldn’t want to see the Vatican any other way!

Great tour, Lisa is exceptional!
The tour guide was exceptional, Lisa had so many details about the history of the art, of the artifacts, pretty much everything. Spoke very clearly, humorous, and an absolute delight.
The instructions to meet up were very clear. The booking process was straightforward. as as advertised. You do not have to wait in the astronomical primary line.
Highly recommend the Tour Guy and Lisa specifically.

Broken promises
They promised to give us 60% of our tour value since we missed our tour due to sickness with in 24 hrs. Today, it's been more than a week with multiple calls to them, still no refund applied to our account. Avoid them if you can help it!!

Hi Seble, thank you for reaching out to us. We understand how frustrating it is when travel plans get disrupted by unexpected illness, and we are sorry for the stress this situation caused. However, we would like to clarify the facts regarding your account. While our cancellation policy is firm and non-refundable for last minute illnesses outside of standard notice, we went above and beyond to issue a 60% gift card credit as a gesture of goodwill within 24 hours of your request. Furthermore, our records show that this credit was already applied to your account and that most of it was redeemed on October 6th for our Berlin's Greatest Hits: Food, Beer & History Tour. We always strive to be fair while supporting our guests through unexpected events, but non-refundable windows exist so we can guarantee compensation for our hard-working local guides. For last minute medical emergencies, we always recommend relying on travel insurance to cover unrecoverable costs. We hope you enjoyed your time in Berlin and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
