Rome to Pompeii/Sorrento tour
This is in regards to the Pompeii/Sorrento tour.
Good - Coordinator and Guides were on time and knowledgeable of their local/subject matter. Transportation was comfortable and professional.
Not so good - Lemoncello tour not so good. The company was not making lemoncello so it was basically a stop at a store selling lemoncello and other Italian made products.

Hi Nkp, thank you for sharing your feedback with us! We are glad to hear that our coordinators and guides were punctual and knowledgeable, and that you enjoyed comfortable transportation on your Pompeii and Sorrento tour. We are sorry to hear that the limoncello portion of the itinerary did not meet your expectations. While live production schedules at local venues can vary depending on the season, we understand how that stop felt more like a shop visit than an interactive experience. We have shared your note directly with our Operations Team as we continuously refine our tour itineraries. We hope to welcome you on another trip soon, and please tell your friends and family to look up The Tour Guy when planning their travel!

Exceeded expectations
On a recent trip to Italy, we used The tour guy for two separate excursions (one out of Florence and the other in Rome). Both were very well run, clear instructions on meeting place, entertaining guides, and exceeded expectations. Will definitely use again if the need arises.
I should note that I messed one reservation up and didn’t realize until one week before tour was scheduled. I was immediately assisted with a team located in my same country (important to note - no delay in correspondence). I could not have been happier with the assistance in getting tour rescheduled for correct day.

We had an amazing walking a food tour through Venice. Our guide was local and so knowledgeable about Venice. Felt like an authentic local experience with great food and drinks. Highly recommend doing this tour as soon as you get to Venice to learn the layout and history. One of the best tours I have done and we travel all the time!

Guides were very good
Guides were very good, sometimes their accent was hard to understand - I know the pace needs to be fast to see everything, but it seemed there were times where we hurried up then just to wait. The guides were very personable and made the tours interesting and enjoyable. If not for the guide and the pace surely would have not seen as much as I did.
