Insurance quote was very competitive
Insurance quote was very competitive, so I bought it. The next day, I realised I was already covered by another policy, so I cancelled. This took just 5 minutes on the phone. No long wait, no hassle. I would definitely recommend AA for competitive pricing and excellent customer support.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service !
Was want to swap my insurance from one vehicle to another so I called the customer service line .... every now and again it says that services can be completed online . I waited 53 mins on the phone to eventually get to speak to a lady who told me I would have to wait another 45 mins if she transferred me to change the policy over and that I need to do it online, not very helpfull at all .
A bit annoyed with this so I went to the website, engaged the Web chat as advised, got a link to what's app chat ... waited another 1hr and 50 mins for a response from this web chat ... at this stage i decided to cancel my insurance altogether and go with another company . Its ridiculous to have customers waiting 3hrs for basic customer service.
I rang quote devil insurance , phone answered in about 10 seconds and insurance set up and paid for in about 15 mins all together .
Ill be cancelling my home insurance and road side assistance when thats due also .
AA insurance get your act together your customer service is dire .

Our lines can get busy at times, but our advisors always aim to answer as quickly and efficiently as possible. Our WhatsApp service isn’t instant messaging, but it does mean you don’t have to stay by your phone, we’ll message you with updates until your query is resolved.
We hope everything is sorted now and that we can help you again in the future with your car insurance.

It seems to offer all I need. Hopefully I won’t have to make a claim. That’s when you find out if the policy comes up trumps. Price was only £1 more than my last year’s policy which had increased quite considerably this year and they had no wiggle room to match AA’s price.

Comprehensively covered.
AA platinum insurance covered all my requirements comprehensively regarding buildings and contents.
I phoned for some clarification and was dealt with by Chris, a most professional, efficient and affable member of the AA team, who resolved everything for me.
