First time using the service. Identity verification was fast and easy and the shipping+handling costs were fair. Received my item quickly.

Tenso is reliable but the shipping calculator greatly underestimates shipping cost.

I thought my shipping would be 2000 yen ended up being 6000 yen. It ended up being more than my actually order cost making what I thought would be a relative price service very pricey.

Their identity check also was a hassle to go through it rejected the check many times.

They make it easy to order from places in japan but the factor the calculator is out makes it not a great place. As I would not have ordered if I knew my shipping would be more than my order

I purchased some products from Tenso before submitting my identity verification and there is where the problem starts. I have sent 5 or more times of my identity verification to them and all are being rejected. I also sent my inquiries stating my problems for 4 times and until now still haven't' receive a reply yet. The products that I bought are more than 10,000 Yen. Their customer service are really "dabest"...

A very fast and reliable proxy service. Packages arrives even on sundays and they process the packages very fast.
The service is very easy to understand and use, even if you don't know a single word in japanese, they also includes a guide on how to register the address on the shopping sites.

I have been using tenso.com for 1 year now, after a long hesitation because I was a little afraid to give my papers for the creation of my account, but finally everything went well. I have all my packages sent back in EMS and frankly, nothing to say is done quickly. Customer service is also very responsive to our requests.
The only thing I find too bad is the storage time which is limited (compared to Shipito which I use for my orders in the United States and which offers a free storage time of one year). However I can only strongly recommend this platform for shipments from Japan to abroad and so I can order on sites that do not deliver in France.

Reliably great service.
Each time I've used them, and packages arrive quickly with no damage to the items I ordered.
The fees are made obvious and are good value.
It would be 5 stars, but a few websites have blocked Tenso addresses from being used to purchase and the one time something wasn't delivered - which could also have been the fault of the store I purchased from, and it was pretty small and cheap.

No problem with them so far. Costumer service replies fast.

There are a few points i'd like to mention tough:

Identity check can be a bit of a hassle, and that your first shipment has to be sent to the address registered in the ID used. Having moved recently, that resulted problematic.

Something other services don't offer is asking for an extension of storage time in case something happens, which is highly appreciated. However the storage period clashes with the consolidation one, if orders are too apart each other can't be shipped together despite still having storage time for all the items.

Rates with consolidation can get a bit high if ordering multiple items

Still, satisfied with the service so far.

I had been using tenso for 3-4 years and it had always been my first choice whenever I need to purchase something from Japan. Shipping charges are very reasonable. Communication with tenso team is also quick and replies are fairly fast. However, I do hope to see tenso team accept the order for cash on delivery items in the future!

Tenso is the best shopping service that I have ever used, it has made it very easy for me to purchase things from online Japanese stores. The packages are always delivered safely, products are packed good so there is nothing damaged. The shipping fees are always right, they never overcharge you. Every time I consolidate items, everything is packaged securely and nothing every goes missing. The customer service is amazing, they always respond to my inquiries within 1-2 business days. Always send me pictures of products when I request it. I love to shop in Japan and I'm glad I can use this service. I would definitely recommend using Tenso as a forwarding service, their service fees are very affordable and trustworthy service.

Tenso is a very reliable proxy service. I've used it quite a few times now, and so far no major issues with my orders. All packages have arrived in one piece, no damages and as described.
On top of that, whatever timing is stated on the shipping is quite accurate, 4 days means 4 days.
However, some areas of improvement would be the process of signing up for a tenso address. I remember when i first signed up, it was a tedious process of IC verifying etc. The website is, however, user friendly and simple to use overall. The service can get quite pricey at times, but for someone like me who purchase Japanese products very often but obviously can't travel very frequently, Tenso is the next best option.

Normally they are fine; despite being slower than before, their services are reliable for the most part.

However, like I said, they are not quick. After delivery, it takes 2 days to register, then if you consolidate, another 2-3 days, and then it doesn't ship the next day but 1-2 days after. Considering they don't work on Sundays (and I'm not sure about Saturdays), if my package is delivered Mon and I paid for EMS (the quickest option)immediately after it is registered, I am lucky to receive it Friday.

I also had problems with their CS team. When I emailed them about a package that was shown as arrived on tracker but is not registered for 3 days, they simply told me to wait (because it could take 5 days they said. Seriously?!). 2 more days later, still nothing, and I emailed them again. Only then did they find my package. Did you really have to waste my time like that?

I also wish they can offer a DHL option. EMS can be unreliable (I've had 2 cases of not receiving packages for weeks, turnt out they were in limbo at one side's customs). EMS is not that much cheaper than DHL anyway.

The consolidation is quick, and fragile items are packed properly.

Been a customer for a long time. Pretty much use them for any purchase in Japan. Haven't had any problems with them so far over 2 years. Will keep using them and suggested.

I wanted to order some things from Japan and was recommended Tenso. It was easy to set up an account and ID verification was quick. As soon as my package arrived at their warehouse I was given notice and multiple shipping options. Everything was made really easy. Will use again.

Tenso is a very trustworthy service. I ordered from there a couple of time and each time, they sent me notifications for each time and everything went quickly and smoothly.

I also really appreciate how they are transparent about their fees. You can use their shipping simulator to have a good idea of how much you'll have to pay.

Been a long time user of Tenso, and I am satisfied with their promptness in terms of customer service. The staffs are polite and will try their best to answer any inquiries within their abilities. I enjoy using their proxy services and def recommend them! I hope they will have DHL shipping in the future but in the meantime EMS shipping is decent.
