Very happy with Back Market and Tec-it-out
I was looking on back market for a decent laptop to run my workshop CNC. I trust backmarket after buying a few phones from them so I was happy to risk a second hand laptop. This one provided by Tec-it-out via backmarket is great like new and came in good time as ordered. It’s clean with windows loaded ready to go and a new charging cable included.

Bought a MacBook Air advertised with a 12-month warranty, but when it developed a serious fault, they refused to help. Tried to shift blame and hide behind “expired warranty” excuses. Poor communication and zero accountability. Would never buy from them again.

Svar fra Tec-It-Out
For transparency: this customer reported a screen issue more than 18 months after purchase, outside the 12-month warranty we offer. The photos and video provided showed clear physical/impact damage, not a manufacturing fault, so it isn’t covered by warranty anyway.
We nevertheless offered an out-of-warranty repair, which was refused, and we were threatened with legal action if a free repair wasn’t provided. Our response was fully consistent with our warranty terms and UK consumer law.
For context, the reviewer’s profile shows a pattern of similar negative reviews of other businesses.
We always aim to handle all customer issues fairly and professionally, even when outside warranty terms, and regret that you weren’t satisfied with the resolution.

Thank you so much for the Hyper Fast Delivery with an awesomely secure packaging. It arrived way before I expected and this being my first Mac, it is a gem or a game for me. Secure product, not locked, perfectly maintained even for a decade old model. This is the best product to start my journey and will always stay in my memory lane.

The computer arrived very quick and seems to work well. Although I am a bit annoyed as the leeboard is really dirty underneath and I can see lots of crumbs and bits which makes the using of the keyboard unpleasant and not as easy as it should be. I will try to figure how to clean it but I feel like this should have definetely been done, as well as cleaning the sounds hole which looks very dirty too.

Thank you for your review, Barbara. I’m glad to hear the Mac arrived quickly and is working well, though I’m sorry the keyboard area wasn’t as clean as it should have been. We normally carry out a full clean before sending devices out, so this is something we’ll follow up on with the team.
I hope you’ve been able to clean it easily, but if not, please feel free to get in touch and we’ll be happy to guide you through the safest way to do so. Your feedback is appreciated.
