I had a wonderful swim--thank you so much Swim Together! Ricardo was friendly and gave me a lot of helpful feedback during the tour. He was also very understanding, supportive, and safety minded when I started feeling seasick. Even with that part, it was a ten out of ten experience, and I would do it all over again. Thank you so much for what you do!

I had a brilliant swim with Ze Baptista this evening in Faro. He’s a great coach - goes at your own pace and checks in regularly to make sure you’re comfortable and happy. It was really great fun swimming with someone else who loves the sea so much. Highly recommend whatever level you’re at.

I was in Cascais for a short trip and wanted to continue my open water training with some local experienced swimmer rather than alone in unknown waters.
Catarina and Hugo guided us really well, always giving us different options and paying attention to technique and pace. Pics and videos were good!

This was an amazing experience. Thank you so much to my wonderful guide Myra who's passion and love for swimming is inspiring. The sea was so clear I felt like part of the ocean.

I swam twice with the amazing and very friendly swimming coach Zé Baptista at Faro Beach. I was a little nervous because I've never swum in the sea before and the weather was pretty stormy on the first day. Zé was very attentive and reacted perfectly to the conditions and my level of training. The second time we had beautiful weather and were able to swim a little further up the coast. Very beautiful! It was great fun, a great experience swimming in the great Atlantic. All swimming enthusiasts should not miss this experience!

Glorious swim today in Cascais with charming Catarina. She is both an excellent swimmer and a highly qualified nurse.
This was a private swim with Swim Together who seem to be the premier open water swimming group in Portugal. Very reassuring to swim in a new place with such an experienced and friendly guide.

I spent 5 days in Cascais, Portugal for 2 trainings/day. I came as a level 1 swimmer and go back as a level 2 swimmer. The young coaches all high-level-athletes, very dedicated, to pick up each athlete where her or his performance is. Self-confidence and pride in the own performance grows up from day to day.

P.S. To spend time with Andre in Sesimbra is like a day in paradise - the underwater-world and Andre's presentation of it.

The guys at Swim Together were able to offer me a guided swim at short notice.
Ricardo was my guide and his local knowledge of the coastline at Praia da Luz was second to none.
We swam close to rock pools where we could see lots of fish swim below us.
Ricardo was very friendly and kept to my pace (slow). Always reassuring with his coaching skills we had a fantastic time in the water.
Chuffed to bits to have swam my longest swim of the year at 2.3km.

We did the half day Ponts São Lourenço and full day Garajau Swim. Both were absolutely incredible. Our guide, acclaimed ultramarathon swimmer Mayra Santos is amazing. Her English is excellent. She communicated so well and was extremely responsive to our texts. She made our experience in Madeira fabulous.she took photos and videos and captured this unique experience. She was phenomenal at tailoring the hikes and swims to our needs. The hikes were beautiful. The swims were the best we have done. We are endurance athletes so we did longer swims. She made sure we were safe and confirmed our ability. You don’t have to swim for a long time or be a good swimmer, she would tailor it to the needs of the guests. The clear water and fish in both places, particularly Garajau was incredible. Do not miss these phenomenal swims and views from the hikes. Mayra is so much fun to be around. So much energy. The water is magical!!! We are coming back!!!

It has been an incredible trip and highly recommended for many reasons.
- The organization has been perfect. André is an exceptional being, attentive, very kind, he cares about all the details and is always aware of the whole group. He has the situation under control at all times and looks for alternatives if there is any setback in terms of weather.
He has wonderful people on his team and in his life who showed him love, respect and friendship. He is a person who loves his work and enjoys sharing it.
- The places where we have swum are truly spectacular, and without making large displacements, everything close by and guided by him at all times with the support of a boat if necessary.
- The accommodation is very good, the hotel is really comfortable 10/10, very new and beautiful.
- Every day we had a swimming session and then a delicious meal based on the typical fish of the region.
- Lastly, an excursion to a point of interest in the area to end the afternoon and then free time to walk, swim, shopping… whatever you like.
IT HAS BEEN AN UNFORGETTABLE HOLIDAY IN A GREAT COMPANY AND WITH A GREAT PERSON BEHIND ALL THIS, ANDRÉ !

My experience of SwimTogether was very positive their attention to detail in communicating with me from booking to arrival was impressive.

The adventure was superbly planned with consideration given to everyone’s needs or preferences. Andre our guide provided excellent care of us in the sea and also filled the day with amazing food, photography and local insight.

Very highly recommended I hope I join them next year in another adventure.

The swim locations were outstanding for variety and beauty. As a bonus our host André introduced us daily to the locale cuisine. We learned much of the regional history and culture in such an authentic way.

First time swimming in open water and really liked it! Bibiana gave me good tips about orientation and stroke technique. Besides that, communication with Andre went smooth. Would definitely recommend it if you are training for a triathlon for example, or if you just want to swim in the beautiful bay of Cascais!

Just to start of the spot has huge natural privileges that are setting this apart - quality water, great scenery, a natural estuary, and good weather.

All of this was matched by the great service of Swim Together: easy online booking + open and helpful chat for questions, sticking to agreements, fair price, reasonable flexibility at last time and good actual guidance.

Lucky enough: I had to do the swimming myself though :)

We had the best time ever in Sesimbra - Praia Ribeiro do Cavalo. Pedro Biscaia is a wonderful guide, very thoughtful, super friendly, kind and supportive. The beach is paradisiac. I 100% recommend this 1/2 day adventure and will certainly return for more.

Ricardo was friendly, informative, and took me on a great swim at Praia do Vau. I got to swim through some rock arches which were spectacular.

It was super fun to swim with SwimTogether on my holidays in Lisbon. They know what the right spots are for swimming. Special thanks to Andre, with whom I swam my last day, just before my flight. We went swimming together with super high waves and getting seasick, but still managed to stay positive ;)
