Good platform, excellent tutor but the platform charges $49 a month which is a lot on top of the tutor. Platform fee should be lower

I had a lot of great students from Superprof! It was very easy to start my music business from scratch because of their help.

Pros:
-Superprof provides a platform to bring student and teacher together easily.
-The sign up and profiling process is simple and user friendly and allows the instructor enough freedom to explain their service properly.
-I appreciate that credentials can be uploaded.
-As an instructor it is nice to have clear guidance on how to advance to the next level on the platform.
-The site handles the collection and release of funds for payment.
-Webcam service is provided if an instructor does not have their own but it is not mandatory to use it.

Cons:
-The site was not user friendly for students when it came to scheduling.
-There was a lag in initially getting word that I had a message from a prospective student.
-The student had difficulty getting their payment in.
Fortunately, we were able to get on a call and I helped them through the process.
-It took a couple of days or more after my lesson for Superprof to release by funds to my Paypal account. This coupled with the process of releasing funds from paypal to my account and their 3-5 day lag time means that I can anticipate waiting a week before funds to actually reach me.

Overall I appreciate a professional site to be present on, have opportunity to showcase well, be provided tools to meet with students online, receive payments, give and receive feedback and be part of a larger community. Making the site more intuitive and user friendly for students would be helpful.

The experience of teaching made me great because the the whole process of my teaching is smooth. It was the platform that made my work very well.

Very easy to access a list of tutors. A very big thing for me was they have tutors who are specific to children with learning disabilities such as ADHD, autism, etc. the tutor is very understanding of my daughter's learning disability and very competent in her tutoring skills working with kids as such.

Great place to connect with talented tutors.

Jessica Chan has provided me vocal tools to improve my ability to continue to sing better.

She understand my goals and is very attuned to my needs. Each lesson is enjoyable and rewarding.

I have very good experience I got my students from superprof and this platform is very easy to use . Very convenient.

Support finally reached out, removed the offending "tutor" and refunded the pass fee. Thanks.
A simple code check to prevent alleged tutors from countering with a session in the past is to check current time before posting. Please save others the same headache.

Beware scammers
I came in looking for an at home teacher, I found one, contacted with detailed request and specific dates, accepted with a "generic" reply showing she didn't even read my message, only to counter-propose a time slot in the PAST! and saying she doesn't go to homes anymore. And of course all the while I got charged for a stupid "Student Pass" before even getting any service, and obviously for a service I will no longer pursue. Support? Non-existent. Stay away

I got genuine students who were sincere about their studies and they were hard working.

tutor was a fake. I reported it, reported also that has moved to another category (sewing to tap dance). Still getting AI to respond that someone will get back to me... That a human will look into it. No one and now a feedback request. The site is not safe, you have no recourse to really know if fake. I got scammed and still trying to get my money back from a tutor pkg class that do not exist. My worry now is that whomever doing this has my information. Frustrated, disappointed, angry . Be very careful when hiring a tutor from this site. You do not have a safety net nor much way to verify. I am sure some are good and real connections but there are a lot of fake and Superprof not doing much to stop. They will charge you a membership and you are on your own so do you home work. Lots of fake profiles and scams...

1. Easy and very fast to find a good teacher.
2. Convenient to pay to teacher for tuition fee.
3. Answer my questions very quickly and clearly and patiently by email.
4. Webcam is good for online learning.

Superprof is an excellent platform where tutors and students can connect in a fair and clear manner. Their support team is always available to assist in any situation.

J’ai utilisé Superprof une seule fois, pensant payer pour un service ponctuel. En réalité, un abonnement mensuel a été activé — une information mentionnée, mais de façon peu visible. Je n’ai pas eu conscience que l’abonnement se reconduirait automatiquement, et j’ai été prélevé plusieurs mois sans réutiliser le service.

Après un premier échange insatisfaisant, puis un signalement, le service client a finalement pris en compte ma situation et m’a remboursé les derniers prélèvements. Je les en remercie.

Cela dit, je reste persuadé que leur modèle gagnerait à plus de clarté dès l’inscription, pour éviter ce type de malentendu.

Easy to communicate with the teacher and student.

I got some good teachers from this website for my high school child. Almost all tutors response soon. I also noticed wide choice of tutors on all subjects.

I like the backgrounds choices and the classroom in general. The Superprof'comission is fine.
