I bought all the body parts for the 1967 Chevy C10. The parts are an absolute disaster and work without end. We spent over 100 hours adjusting the parts. Whenever possible!! Do not order Taiwan and China parts from Summit! I have asked Summit if they will accommodate me with a credit or settlement. They did zero and nothing! For me Summit is history!! There are other good auto parts dealers in the US.

I have paid thousands of dollars to Summit and the manager George, Badge number 1335 was horrible. He would not even give me 10 percent off like they did a month earlier. This was for over $500.00 dollars. Very bad management.

I irdered your BBQ on March 13th at the cost of $499.00, and was told it would be shipped out the same day ftom the Sparks, NV store ,(approx 40 miles from my home). Everyday it did not come, I called and the service agent told me it was due to weather!! Weather where???? as it has been sunny here ,(40 miles away) for the in last 4 days!!! I could have driven there and gotten it myself! You claim to be an Excellant first rate store with free delivery etc, but in this case, I find you mistaken. I am now told it will be Monday,March 20th, when we are expecting weather! Totally unacceptable and your agent said to ne " What fo you want me to do o?" Really ......???? No customer service either. I need your help, I have a 1994 f-350 4X4 7.3
I need advice on who makes the best 5 speed .
I bought one from Summit a year ago, the first one they sent me, did not have reverse. The second one they sent me had a cracked case.
They were not helpful, I worked directly with zumbrota
The third one they sent me did not have 2nd. When I tried working with Summit, they told me to send it back and they will give me my transmission once they receive theirs back so I talked to the vice president of management at zumbrota Drivetrain and they promised me that the fourth one would be tested no problems and ready to go. Like a dip s**t believed them, they sent me the fourth transmission, the one I’m on now. The case leaks, it does not have second gear. I had to pay to have it swapped out each time. I am into it approximately $11,000. Can somebody please point me in the right direction on where I could purchase a transmission that will work and that knows what they’re doing? I repeat please do not buy anything from Summit or from Zumbrota Drivetrain.

I put this product on my vehicle against what i wanted the mechanic talked me into this and said it was a great product so i bought the whole system in 2020. We finished the restore in august of 2021 with the fuel system giving us problems from the get go. had to put off working on vehicle until june of 2022, this is when i called customer support and i was told to move the ecm to a different location under the hood which we did and this did not cure the problem the mechanic said he would look into this further and call support himself this is now jan 2023 and finally was told to call summit and tell them its the ecm. So when i contacted summit all i was told was sorry no warranty i have not driven this car 70 miles and when i did it was nothing but a disaster, all they said is maybe we can get you a discount on a new one does anybody think i would spend money even if its discounted on a new one that has been nothing but trouble. I have notified my mechanic and said i will purchase a carburator and be done im out over 1500.00 that is nothing but trash. Thanks for no help.

I have ordered from summit racing for many years. Always fast parts arrival and have had a damaged part from Shipping, they had a new one delivered asap. I wish all companies were as honest and fast as summit. Thank you summit racing for all the years of great results everytime.

I made a large purchase on July 5, 2022 and everything came packed nicely in a large box on time. I recently opened it and found damaged headgaskets. I called Summit and Nash answered and is sending a new gasket replacement set. That's what I would call exceptional customer service! Thank you Summit and Nash!

they answer the phone and always take care of me. I have no problems with summit, I've been buying parts for a long time.

on November 27th of 2021 I placed an order online for almost $1000.00 worth of parts that I paid for when I completed the order, which included a bunch of sheet metal parts for a 1964 Chevelle Malibu SS... included in this order was both rear quarter panels (GMK-4030-600-64L and GMK-4030-600-64R)... the driver's side arrived at the Summit Racing store located in Tallmadge Ohio around April 20th (2022), I received a card in the mail telling me I had until a certain date to come pick up the part... 2 days prior to the deadline on the card I was getting ready to go to SR to pick up the driver side rear quarter panel, but prior to leaving my house I checked online under my order status, and both rear panels had been canceled off of my order without anyone ever contacting me prior to doing this cancelation... I raced to the Tallmadge Retail Store in hopes that no one had managed to place an order on MY rear quarter panel, and luckily it was still there, and I paid for it, and at the same time I had them re-order the passenger side rear quarter panel that they had canceled off my first order from November of 2021... we'll, on 10/13/2022 I was extremely excited to finally receive another card in the mail telling me that the passenger side panel had finally arrived (11 months after I originally placed an order for it!!!) today I drove to the Tallmadge Retail Store to pick up my order, there was a Halloween event going on, so I went in and paid, then my son and I went outside to walk around and check out the cars in the parking lot... when we had finished our rounds I went back in to get my order, the box was sitting in the corner to the left of the pick-up counter, I gave my invoice to someone behind the counter and walked over to the box, he followed, I commented that the box had obviously been opened, and asked if they had checked the part to see if there was any damage, he said yes, and that it was good to go... so I said I'll trust you, let's just get it loaded up... when I got home and brought the box inside, I opened the box to check the part for any damage, and by the time I had finished looking at it, I would have to say that I was completely pissed off, not only because the pick-up clerk clearly lied to me, but because I had waited 11 months for this part and the condition it arrived to me in, was totally unacceptable, and if I didn't know any better, I would almost believe that they re-boxed the part, because the damage to the part does not fit the condition of the box it was given to me in!!! the following pictures show the damage in several places on the part, most of which I could probably repair myself, but the large dent and crease in the side of the quarter panel just behind the door opening might be a little out of my range of expertise in this situation... great job Summit Racing, thanks for screwing me over again!!!

just an FYI, new body replacement panels shouldn't arrive to the customer this beat up... especially after taking 11 months to get it to me!!!!!

I ordered side steps for my 2022 Silverado Crew Cab.
Summit was hands down the cheapest. The part was shipped direct from the manufacturer - LUND.

Will buy again in the future.

Ordered parts, got defective parts. They sent me a gift card for my troubles of installing the part twice. Poor customer service and quality on par with the local junkyard. Do yourself a favor and order parts through another distributor.

I purchased and 8 dollar part a smatt distributor spring it was 8 dollars by the time I checked out it was up to 33 dollars they scarge 22 dollars for shipping and handling of a part that weighs 8 ounces and then they had nerve to say if I placed an order above 90 dollars it would ship free what a crooked company takeing advantage of the crisis were in

Summit Racing customer service is horrible. I ordered a quarter panel and wanted it shipped to there store incase it was damaged I could refuse it there after they screwed up the delivery I was the one who had to jump through hoops to cancel it with the shipper. The lady at Summit Racing was NO HELP at all and we will NEVER buy from them again.

I ordered a part that was ready to ship,paid for 2-5 day shipping and still has not arrived .I contacted ups only to find out that summit sent the order 5 days after order date and sent it standard shipping not the 2-5 days that i paid for . FAST SHIPPING TO AUSTRALIA WHAT A RIP OFF !!!!!!!

Customer service is Garbage.Going to the store in Arlington is a joke,they all say that they they are busy with something,but all they do is just stand there. every time I go there there is literally like 30 employees just standing there while us the customer is waiting on our parts

If I could give a half star I would.
In the 80s and early 90s everything I did to me engines came from summit so,,, imagine my surprise when ordering parts for a 2002 vehicle with an 8.1 liter, and I’m getting parts for a totally different engine. First it was a throttle body that was at least half again bigger then the size of the original. A 92mm throttle body will not bolt up and replace a 78mm.
So I returned that and said to my self that would give them another chance, (stupid me I know) so I ordered a tps sensor for the same engine, a 2002 chevy 81 liter (of course will vehicle info) and they sent one that had a completely different plug on it for a three wire system (round plug) mine has a a 5 wire system and has a rectangular plug with rounded edges. I think the part they sent me was a ford part.

Just in case anyone from summit reads this,, Ford parts don’t usually fit or plug into or run on a chevy engine. Yes, the 8.1 liter engine is a chevy (big block)
The Summit racing of today is no longer worth the time to deal with.

Also it’s been several hours since i called in for the return code so I can get this thing returned. I was told it may take an hour or so. Now customer service is closed and I’ll likely have to call them in the morning to have another return code sent. I’m still waiting for my funds to be returned almost a week after the throttle body was received on their end.

Placed order on June 5th, 2 month later, still nothing. Was supposed to ship that week but no. To my surprise there's a string of 1 star reviews on this company I thought was once reputable but not the case anymore. It's laughable how they try with these templated responses to defend themselves as if these one star ratings will disappear. GTFOH with you lies and scamming bs. Obviously this company is tanking and will be out of business soon. The fact they able to secure our money without providing the product using a waiting game of attrition, hoping we will forget about the order is scandalous and should be illegal. Most companies, legit companies, charge upon shipping and sometimes not until delivery. I am actually going to not cancel my order but rather report it as fraud with my bank and see about further legal action against them. Perhaps a class action lawsuit will be coming due to all these people being ripped off. They're breaking laws, no doubt and their time is going to be up soon. I hope all involved will be crushed by the law. OK summit lets hear what lies you have to say about this review. Scumbags

I have ordered part for my Mustang 1968 to Dubai 🇦🇪 and they have delivered as accepted.

I ordered a part from Summit Racing to go on my vehicle. They said in order to ensure the part would fit, I would need to give them a description of the vehicle. I gave them everything from A to Z. According to their website, they said the part will fit. When I received the part, it did not fit my vehicle at all. If I hadn't already boxed it up, I'd show the differences between the two parts. They get you to pay for a part that doesn't fit, and then if you request a refund, they take shipping fees from your refund based on it's weight. In short, I paid over $200 to get the part here quickly, and they're going to refund me the cost of the part, which I understand, but why make me pay for additional shipping fees out of my refund when you guaranteed the part would fit? In my opinion, they are just another greedy company, and I feel like I've been ripped off three times over. I will never order anything from them ever again!

Ordered some parts and there was a shipping issue ( They use multiple carriers so they can get out of lost packages) So they realized there was an issue and sent my shipment again. One part that did not come had a qty of 1 and never arrived. I assumed it went on backorder and they would ship it a later date. My buddy has had a part on backorder for 8 months. Called customer service and they said since over 90 days nothing they could do.
I used buy 95% of my parts at summit and 5% at Jegs. Time to reverse that.
