Robbed me!
After being a client for more than a decade, and having spent a 6digit figure over those years, i tried to return (for the first time) a completely broken 1500$ holley efi sniper. They never did it and literally robbed me with no good excuse.
they asked me to call holley (they never picked up the phone no matter how many times i tried) and give them the name and extension of the representative i spoke to cause they dont have a service dpt. that obviously never happened and i lost 1500$. thats pure theft!

will take response. I payed with PayPal with their so
called money back insuranse. No money no parts.
Pay Pal must be the worthless company existed.
Don't believe the paid-for bad reviews
Have always, and will continue to always use Summit, simply because their real (as opposed to the made-up stuff written using sock-puppet accounts sponsored by competitors) customer service is outstanding.
I live in the UK, and when I needed a return because one of my centre (sorry, "center") caps was problematic back in May 2021, they sorted my problem out immediately and exceeded my expectations. I was genuinely impressed; they are my Pontiac Parts go-to dealers.
As an aside, when you suddenly see really positive or negative reviews left consecutively over a particular period of time, contrary to the trend, and written by people with only a few other reviews, they are as believable as a politician's promise.
They Just Want Your Money
I bought a Nissan roll bar from them with the understanding that it would fit my car. Well guess what, it didn’t. I contacted customer service within 30 days to ask for a return since the product did not fit the car it was supposed to fit. They told me “we can’t do returns on freight shipped items.” Well thanks for stealing my $300. Haven’t been able to resell it since I bought it last year. These guys are crooks.
Is Summit broke?
Ordered a carb with the understanding it would be 2 weeks before it shipped. That's fine. Even if it was a week longer, that's fine. Got an Email stating it would be almost 2 months before it could ship. Too long. Called and cancelled the order. NP doing that. 3-5 to get money back. Well, so be it. 7 days and counting and still nothing. How come it only takes minutes for these companies to take your money but days even weeks to return it? Do I need the money? Well there's other things I would like to order and I have to pull more money out of savings because a multi million dollar operation is so greedy they have to hold your money for the interest? Maybe Summit needs to stop sponsoring motorsports if they can't afford to give back a measly $511 back in a timely manner.

As i found out they just want your money. After i place the order the game started. You will not receive your items on time. They will change the expectation date. And they will automatically cancel your order. They waste my time for almost 2 month and they changed the expectation date 3 times and finally canceled 4 of my items. The rest was not good quality. Completely disappointed. They will tell you lies. Just don’t wast your time. If you already placed the order please go ahead and cancel it they will waste your time with the same game.
Summit used to be a good company
Summit used to be a good company! But they have gone the corporate way! No service just get the money and run! I bought a Edge programmer for a 2002 Ford Explorer 4.0L I talked to both Summit and Edge and they said it would fit and work! Because of Cov-19 and back ordered parts I took me awhile to get it running, but I guess it was to long, bye the time I installed it and found out it wouldn’t work with Flex fuel program they wouldn’t take it back! But NO where in there averting did they say anything about Flex fuel! Both company’s said that it would work! Out 400.00 dollars! All Summit and Edge just want you money! Customer service has gone out the window! How can you trust what they are saying to you? I can’t trust both of them anymore! I was stupid for trusting them in the first place! I’m not using both company’s anymore! If you order from Summit beware you will get screwed!!!!!!!!

So I cancelled it cause they didn't ship out yet! TRUST ME IT WILL BE WELL OVER 2 WEEKS THAT THEY STILL WONT HAVE RETURNED MY MONEY! CAUSE ITS BEEN 10 DAYS AND NOTHING, THEN IT TAKES A COUPLE FOR MY BANK TO CLEAR IT BACK! SCREW THESE M0R0NS!! YOU NEED TO STEAL MY MONEY AND MAKE INTEREST OFF IT SINCE YOU HAVE TO RETURN MY MONEY!! On August 20th I called about availability of a cam and lifter kit and was told it would ship in a week.
I could not get any information about shipping online so I called and the rep told me that it was probably in route and she would contact the manufacturer and send me an email with the info. I never received an email.
So, the following morning I called, again. That rep told me it was back ordered until January, so I canceled the order. And he said he issued a refund and would send me an email for confirmation. Again, I never received and email.
So. I called AGAIN. That rep told me that they would not issue a refund until they canceled the order from the manufacturer. I of course protested this because I was told the refund was already processed. So she said she was sending me to a higher level of customer service. I held for 15 min. just to be hung up on.
So I called AGAIN! I asked for a rep that could help me, and was told again about how they had to confirm with the manufacturer first. I said that it was not right for you to have charged me in the first place for something you didnt have much less delay a refund. I explained to him that I ordered the part form Oreilly auto and they had it same day, and I did not pay in advance. he, Jeremy, said he used to work for Oreilly and thats not how it worked with them. So now I am called a liar as well! I told him that in fact I have a commercial account with Oreilly and I order the parts by phone and pay for them when I pick them up. so he just hung up on me!

Ordered a set of Mickey Thompson drag radials on 8/2/21.3 days later given a delivery date of 9/7/21.On 8/25/21 I get a new date of 10/28/21.Called to inquire.Was told Mickey Thompson was the cause.Called Mickey Thompson.They told me they had not missed any of their shipment dates to any of their suppliers.So what happened to my tires?Seems to me Summit likes to use your name and credit card to hold a place in line,but when a buddy needs a set your going to the back of the line.Long story short.Ordered the tires straight from Mickey Thompson and they exceeded all expectations.

This is the second time I am placing a rewiev on this bad company, regarding order number 138857..
They shipped a springkit partnumber TFS-2500286, where there were missing 4 out of 16 ID locaters...
That I found out, after my engine were pulled apart...
Contacted Summit Racing with the problem, expected that they would ship me a new kit without any problems... BUT NOOOOOO, again they prove, when you have payed, you are dead to them.... first they offered to ship me the missing id locaters, fine by me, checked the order and surprise, wrong parts where about to be shipped, contacted summit and made them aware of the error, 4 days is now gone, and to my horror, they missing parts are not to be delivered befor oktober!!!! What the h... , Am I suppose to walk to work because of Summit racing lack of customer service???? They should ship me a new kit without any discussion, and a return shipping qoute for the kit that were missing parts!!!

really backward company
I live in Germany tried to place an order using my USAA (San Antonio Bank) credit card. summit says they can't process my card without me sending them copies because it is a foreign account. Again, this is for a US bank account. My other option is paypal. Every other company I buy stuff from in the US can process my payment and businesses in Germany accept this US issued card. I won't bother to look at summit's site anymore. From what I see they have a poor reputation so I am probably better of anyway!

I have been waiting on a toolbox for over 4 months and decided to ask for refund! I could have rode my 10-speed there and back and picked it up from where it was supposed to be shipped (inside USA) 4 or 5 times already!!

Extremely Poor Service
Ordered a new hitch cargo carrier from Summit, but instead got a used item that was dirty, broken & rusted. I called to report this that same day. We ended up having to pay more through another retailer that I had to make a last minute drive 45 miles each way to pick up, so that we could leave on schedule. When I called Summit, they told me I could return the item upon our return. After our return, I first chatted online with a representative who sent me a return label and said I would be reimbursed when they got the item back & that I could drop the item off at a UPS store or request a pickup. So after all the inconvenience and extra expense, and having never received the item I ordered (just a piece of broken & rusted junk that I then had to spend more time/effort to return), I go online to find out that a pickup would require a fee to UPS, because Summit did not authorize a pickup. After another long call with Summit, they authorized a prepaid label, but when they received the item, they charged me for shipping! This company is a joke.

I _WAS_ a Summit Racing customer, however, their customer service has gone to zero. I ordered some supplies that were "In stock. Ready to ship the same day" and it has been a week. They still have not shipped and when I enquired about cancelling the order they sent me a message saying it has shipped and sent me the tracking number as proof. Of course the tracking number they sent me shows it HAS NOT shipped. They just sent the tracking number thinking it would somehow keep me happy.
This place was good now it seems they are a business with shady practices. Is it too much to ask to just be honest with your customers?
I am never buying from them again. I will pay more for honest customer service.
Low quality merchandise poor customer service.
I purchased an optispark for my 94 Corvette. It was totally defective and took 6 hours to install. Yes I was given a refund but I was charged shipping both ways. Buying a defective part from Summit Racing cost me 6 hours and $35. spoke to company rep only got excuses. Avoid these guys. Sell low quality merchandise.
