Customer Service will not work with…
Customer Service will not work with you. They put out a promotion to get their Summit Speed Card but the promotion is only for about a week. And by the time you get the card there is no promotion. Credit Card Co says to call them to use card but Summit says they don't do that. I would suggest shopping elsewhere that will work with you and give you discounts. This is not my first time buying car parts I restore cars.

After using summit racing for 3 decades, it only took one bad customer service rep to drive me away.
I ordered comp lifters for my olds BB with time to get them for my weekend project starting on a Friday night.
They showed up Thursday as expected for time.
Unfortunately the lifter box was not secured in the shipping box and all my lifters were rolling around like marbles banging into each other. My wife had received the item from the delivery and thought the same, like large ball bearings…
I contacted customer service and asked if they could send me a new set overnight so I could complete my project, adding that I wanted them to charge my card for the next set but put it as a core charge until the current set was received after I shipped them back. Thus double charging me until they had the original open box set back.
NOPE…NO way!!!
I did regular shipping on the first set so they would only ship me the new ones after they received the old ones back.
Did not get the project done because of this and lost one of the last weeks to drive the car for the year.
I ordered from Jegs to get them faster and had them just credit my account at Summit as this was the worst service I have had from a company I have purchased from for 30 years.
I asked the rep to talk to a supervisor and have one contact me but the rep went quiet on the texts after that….
I did get my refund but lost a fantastic fall cruise.

Wrong parts? Too bad!
I bought a chrome rocker cover for my engine.
I get it and it does not even come close to fitting! I go back and look at the listing and yes it says it fits my engine so it is not my screw-up. {I do do that sometimes} So I read the reviews. Reviews going back 9 years say it does NOT fit the engine listed.
So I called support and Summit said, that is between you and the maker. We don't say what it will and will not fit. Wow! But *your* reviews have known for 9 years it was the wrong part so at a minimum -- STOP SELLING IT!

This company is awful would not recommend to anyone . Jim in customer service is horrible worst experience I’ve ever had with a company.
No way to treat a repeat customer
I ordered FAST92 LSX gaskets from the Summit catalog. LSXR FAST102 gaskets showed up. The listing read FAST LSX gaskets. LSX is 92mm, LSXR is 102mm. I called customer service and the woman I spoke with said it was Wilsons fault(Maker of FAST products) for providing incorrect product title, and that I had to pay return shipping because had I clicked elsewhere on that page I would see their mistake so it was my fault. Not only that but she told me to order the correct ones and pay shipping again.
I ordered them from Michigan Speed, no issues!
It was a $500+ order, plus I just purchased a Trick Flow CNC heads/cam (TF owned by Summit) which wasn't cheap so I was pretty furious for being treated like a chump after putting thousands in Summits pockets. I did call back customer service and the guy I spoke with apologized for his coworkers lack of competence and said he would credit the shipping costs.
Summit is the absolute very best !
Summit is the absolute very best place to get the parts you need when restoring and repairing your automobile not only do they have stock items but also have loads of hi performance and up graded parts to make your car better than new !
Best of all at Summit when you call to talk to a employee you will have the pleasure of talking to some of the most informed and kind and polite people on the planet, its always truly a pleasure every time I give Summit a call !
On top of that they always have the best price and if you see it for less they match the price ! Now that is service ! And that is why I truly, Highly recommend Summit and their crew ! I have been a loyal customer for many years and I am very thank full for the many times they have helped me with restoring my seven vehicles Chevy trucks, 3 Blazers 2 long beds and 1 short bed and my MGB convertible.

Ordered Red Calipers
Ordered Red Calipers, rotors. pads for all 4 wheels for a C5 Corvette, Last January they sent everything but the front Calipers, and said they will ship in about a month, every time it get near the ship date they push it out a month or two, it is now June and a day before they were supposed to ship they said expect ed ship Sept. 8th, that would be 9 months late, they are the worst, I am going to send back all the other parts, they Suck, I will never buy anything from them again, if you are smart you won't either.
Summit Racing: From Hero to Zero
The website is broken. I cannot access my account, cannot get a password reset, cannot even get a reply to a message. I called to get help and no one can help but if I want to go to the trouble to call and punch buttons on my phone keypad for awhile I will eventually get someone to take an order who probably won't know a ring gear from a brake pad. If I call to complain about the website I am told "the problem with customers not being able to access their account has been going on for two years or more and customer service can't help! So what can I do? Well, I can move on. If I want to use PayPal I will shop price and Summit does not offer the best price, nor have they ever so obviously that was not why I bought from them.
I'm quits. If they don't care enough about their customers to fire the IT people and replace them with someone who knows what they are doing then let them stew in their own sauce. By the time they wake up a lot of us will be gone and won't ever be back.

Horrible Experience.
I placed an order for an item that showed in stock on the Summit website. To ensure the order was received, I called Summit and was informed that the item would ship from the manufacturer as Summit had no stock. I then personally contacted the manufacturer and learned that only two units were left.
Concerned about the low stock, I called Summit back to expedite my order, and they confirmed it would be processed the same day. However, days went by without receiving a tracking number. When I called and chatted with Summit, they could not provide an update. Upon contacting the manufacturer again, I discovered that Summit had not placed the order.
Summit claimed they had placed the order and were waiting for tracking. They also incorrectly stated that the manufacturer could not confirm orders without Summit's internal purchase order. Three days later, I received a cancellation email from Summit.
This experience was a complete waste of time. I placed the order directly with the manufacturer and promptly received a tracking number. Summit's customer service is a joke.

I ordered a grommet assortment from…
I ordered a grommet assortment from them. I paid with a credit card and filled out the billing and ship to addresses. For some reason Summit sent the package to a 6 year old address. I suspect because I updated my account password (at their request) they used that old address. Going back and checking email receipts they had the old address in both billing and shipping. This should have at least triggered a fraud alert on their end (different billing addresses) and a phone call to verify the transaction. When I brought it to their attention via their chat channel, I was told "It does not matter what your card is linked to, people ship to other addresses all of the time. That is where you had the delivery to on the website, there is nothing we are able to do. I am sorry." I will be contacting my bank with this complaint and will be treating it as fraud since both the billing and ship to addresses are incorrect. I have no proof that they actually shipped the product. I have reordered the needed grommets from Amazon.
UPDATE. I received a call from the person that is now living in my old house. Although it will take a few days, and involve an extra 65 miles of travel, I will eventually receive my grommets from Summit. Since I will be getting product, I will not be submitting a fraud claim. However, as a 45+ year cyber security expert, I recommend very strongly to the folks at Summit that they re-examine their fraud prevention protocols. This could have gone so very sideways. Never the less, I cancelled my account with them. I can't do business with an organization that ignores basic financial security protocols.

BEST PLACE TO SHOP FOR AUTO PARTS
Outstanding. This site had a bunch of options to choose from. One of the only places I could find the Fuel Wheels center hubs. Price was reasonable and shipping was fast and well packaged. There was a slight manufacturers defect in one of the hubs, and Summit answered my email in record time and backed their manufacturer's (Fuel's) part. They sent me emails and updates on the replacement got me the part faster than I expected. Their support seems to be unmatched in my experience in the auto and aftermarket parts world; and they have a ton of options on their site. Great website, great parts options, great pricing, phenomenal service. Definitely exceeded my expectations.
I accidentally ordered the wrong size…
I accidentally ordered the wrong size shocks for my truck. I go to return them and I see an email refunding me half the price I payed for those shocks, I was charged $365 including the shipping and handle and Tax and I only got back $260. I called and a lady told me that “It depends if the reason you are returning it, if you just want to return it because you don’t want it it’s your fault. If the item was broken or anything we would refund the money but in your situation we can’t”. I didn’t read anything in the terms forms that say anything like that, I am so disappointed in Summit Racing Equipment and I will not be shopping here again due to the terrible terms that they don’t provide and are putting into place.

Stole £400 from me
I ordered a carburettor from Summit. It was 'signed for' on delivery, when the house was completely empty, none of the neighbours have the name that signed for the parcel, and none of the neighbours have the parcel. Summit made me wait 30 days for a shipping claims response and have now told me that I cannot be refunded as it was signed for. Again, the house was EMPTY and I did not sign for it. So now I am out £400 and need to rebuy the part.
They are a well established and well…
They are a well established and well known legitimate company. I just recieved their catalog in the mail and was suprised to see it had about as many pages as a comic book. . It appears they have branched out into all sorts of different categories with just a little bit of each in their catalog. I think they should stick to what people know them for amd expect from them not camping and bicycle racks. I know what they are trying to do and they have alot more experience than I do in that business BUT I am the all important customer and my word is the final word and way it is. Its better to specialize in automotive performance parts if thats what your company is. Having all kinds of random products but not specializing in anything wont bode well for them.

Ordered headers and side pipes that were recommended according to there site . One header was bent and made me deal with dougs headers to complain. Side pipes not even close to fitting . I have to pay for shipping to return and customer service was useless and dont do anything to help they are rude and give you answers that are read of the computer.
