Jen at the sales office at the Anthem site in Beverley was very helpful and made the purchase of our new home an easy decision.

Jeff from the service team visited today to correct some of our snags. Jeff was extremely thorough and helpful, ensuring the work was carried out to a high standard and with great attention to detail. I'm sure any other customers who deal with Jeff will have the same excellent experience!

I had contact with Betty in 2024 around April until when she left and she has been an amazing person since then till date, right from first appointment till we moved into our property at Imperial Way , she supported us all through the process. She is an awesome person to us all at Strata estate, she knows people by name and match voice to face, we are missing her already. We wish her all the best in her new role.

Jeff from the Service Team is a credit to Strata! He’s gone out if his way at every opportunity to ensure us as clients are happy with the aftercare of our new homes. Can’t recommend him enough!

We initially reserved a home with Strata in their Desire site after a visit where we spoke to Jessica, who was very helpful and made a great impression. Based on that experience, we felt confident moving forward with purchasing a home through them.

Unfortunately, things quickly took a turn. We had an appointment scheduled with Betty, and when we arrived on time, she was with other customers. We waited patiently outside, but after about 15 minutes, she came out, placed a small sign note on the door, and casually asked if we were waiting for her, then told us she would be gone for 45 minutes to visit a site. She didn’t ask why we were there or acknowledge our scheduled appointment until I reminded her that she had confirmed it. Although she apologised, she simply asked us to continue waiting outside for another 20 minutes, rather than offering us a seat in the office or the show home. It left us feeling ignored and unwelcome.

We were also looking to switch our reservation to a larger property. At the time, the listed price for the house type we were interested in was £405,000. However, the specific plot we were interested in hadn’t been released yet. Betty said she would check on pricing and came back quoting £420,000—a £15,000 increase for a plot with a six-month later completion. We found this confusing and felt there was no clear explanation for such a jump in price.

Throughout our interactions with Strata, the overall customer service was consistently disappointing. It often felt as though they weren’t particularly interested in helping us or securing our business. As first-time buyers, we were hoping for more guidance and a better deal, but we didn’t receive either.

Ultimately, we decided to go with another developer nearby. Their team was friendly, professional, and truly supportive. They offered a better deal and made sure our needs were met from the start. We’re much happier with that decision.

Strata should place far more focus on customer service. Buying a home can be a stressful experience, and buyers need clear communication, reliable support, and a positive journey from start to finish, none of which we felt was available with Strata.

Beautiful show homes with an excellent finish. Only disappointment was that there were limited affordable homes for first time buyers

Betty on the Dream site - 5* service - nothing was too big an ask and was always helpful. Overall house is ok, had many problems though, and despite a few being rectified, more keep appearing.

Jeff and Dave did a great job with the follow-up work today. They completed each task with care and dedication, and worked very efficiently. I truly appreciate and thank you both.

Agent very knowledgeable but just over our price range when flooring and blinds are not included

She was particularly attentive to understand our requirements, patient with us and she displayed great product knowledge. I am happy.

We visited the Leeds Desire site assuming a 3 story house wasn’t for us. How wrong could we be. We met Natalie who listened to what we wanted from a new build, she recommended a Tivoli and how right she was. She has advised and guided us through the process and made our experience of buying a new build an absolute pleasure. Natalie is knowledgeable, extremely patient and friendly always keeping in touch with updates, however small. Nothing was ever too much. We have learned today that Natalie is moving to pastures new. All I can say is what an absolute loss to Strata this will be!

Great service from Jeff the maintenance guy who came today , very professional and sorted out problems. He’s a credit to your company .

Dave came around on the 15th April! Did a great job! Super tidy, and honestly cant tell that there were cracks previously on my stairs, looks brand new! Jeff came around in the 16th April to finish off the work and was super quick, tidy! He noticed an issue with my front door something I didn’t even notice and fixed it extra whilst he was here! Didn’t need to do it just was top guy and did it!

Jeff was a pleasure to have in our home, he completed jobs around the home during his visit to a high standard.

Huge thanks to Betty who helped us throughout the journey of our dream home. She was available all the time wen we had any queries or issues. She treated us with Patience and so much of understanding.She is very gud at building Client / customer relationship.

Jeff and Karl were here all day today! Absolutely fantastic as always! They know what their doing and go above and beyond every time their here, even little cheeky jobs that you ask about they have completed for me today. Thankfully Jeff and Karl have made up for a slightly lacking service elsewhere!
