My enquiry got dealt with by 2 lads named Jake Meeham & Joshua Cockcroft, very good blokes and made me feel comfortable during the whole process. Was very confused before the consultation but they were both very precise and well informed in regards to all my questions needing to be answered. I am looking to go ahead with straights and if the service is as good as it has been so far then I will definitely be recommending this to my friends, family & work colleagues. Top marks for the 2 lads on their work ethics. (Give the lads a raise! They deserve it)

I have had a nightmare experience from the start. I’ve been referred to by the wrong name (different names on different occasions across various means of communication). I tried to cancel as I lack the availability to proceed at this time. They have completely ignored my emails. I’ve told them that I work offshore and wouldn’t be available to take calls and they have left a voicemail for yet another persons first and last name. Very unprofessional and complete con artists if you change your mind. Still have had no progress on the cancellation

My experience with Straights has been nothing short of horrendous. If there were a minus-star rating, I would gladly give it.

I have to give credit where it’s due: their sales and marketing team are very good at what they do. They managed to convince me to commit to treatment. Unfortunately, in my experience, the problems began almost immediately after I committed.

I am barely three weeks into my treatment, and I have been asking to opt out since my second week. However, my requests have repeatedly been avoided, and I have received conflicting information from customer service. I am not even asking for a refund of the payments I have made. I simply want to end my treatment and move on.

One of my first issues was the presentation of the treatment kit. The aligners arrived in a completely plain, unbranded box with nothing indicating that it was from Straights. I contacted them about this and was told that their custom packaging was out of stock when my kit was sent, and that I would receive the branded box within 10 days.

That was not what happened.

I have made several calls and followed up repeatedly, but I have continued to receive assurances that the box has been dispatched. As of the time of writing this review, it still has not arrived. In my experience, their phone lines are also extremely difficult to reach, and I often find that they contact me when it suits them rather than when I need assistance.

Another major concern arose on the day I went for my aligner fitting. There was another patient at the clinic who was receiving treatment with SmileWhite, and the difference in presentation was immediately noticeable. Their treatment kit was clearly branded, right down to the dust bag carrying the box.

By comparison, my Straights kit felt poorly presented and lacking in basic information. The aligners did not even come with clear instructions explaining how long each set should be worn.

This created another issue. The dentist who fitted my aligners left a note advising me to wear each set for 10 days, while a Straights representative subsequently told me to wear them for 7 days. I was left confused about which instruction I was actually supposed to follow. When you are undergoing dental treatment, this is not the sort of uncertainty you should be left with.

Overall, my experience has left me extremely disappointed and full of regret. The biggest issue for me is not simply the packaging or the inconvenience; it is the lack of confidence and trust I now have in the company and the way my concerns have been handled.

If you are considering Straights, I would strongly advise you to think carefully before committing. Whatever money you think you might save may not be worth the stress and frustration that, in my experience, comes afterwards.

I personally wish I had gone with a local dentist or considered one of their competitors instead.

I am writing this review because I feel my experience has been unfair and disappointing, particularly given how recently I started treatment. I genuinely do not understand how the company has received so many five-star reviews when my experience has been so different.

Update at the time of writing: I was told by a customer service adviser that my branded treatment box had been dispatched. It still has not been delivered.

Please do not waste your money or time with this company! I wanted to start my teeth straightening journey with STRAIGHTS until they happily took my deposit and stopped responding to me and even when asking for a refund which still has not happened. Before I paid the deposit of £150 they were constantly messaging and ringing me to get the treatment started, I was asked to pay a deposit and they would contact me to book an appointment. I paid the deposit and heard nothing other than them liking the message I sent informing them I had paid. After chasing for my first appointment on the Friday (heard nothing) I chased again on Monday and I was told they would contact me that day which never took place. I then requested a refund and no one was responding to me to book my appointment, I was told again we will contact you today and lo and behold still no contact. I have now been requesting a simple refund since Tuesday and they are still not processing this, promising I would be contacted everyday and not one person has picked up the phone to me. The excuse was we have tried to call but cannot get hold of me and wanted to check my number but they were happily ringing me when they wanted a deposit! I have requested a refund still nothing, I have requested there complaint procedure still nothing. Please avoid this company at all cost, I will be taking the matter further. I hope this helps anyone considering STRAIGHTS.

I’ve now finished my journey with straights and I couldn’t be happier with the results I received my whitening trays within 48 hours after my final aligner review with my dentist 4 weeks of whitening and then my composite bonding can’t wait !

Be careful. At the start of May I I paid a deposit £900+ to start the treatment. I was told my chosen dentist will contact me. The same day I received a call from the aftercare saying the dentist I chose are no longer taking booking so I booked with a different one. A month went by and I didn’t hear anything. So I chased. I received an email saying they will follow up with the dentist. A week went by and still nothing. So I chased again and of course still nothing. At this point 2 months later I asked for my deposit back as I no longer trust this company. They tried giving me further discounts etc but I still asked to cancel. On 16th June I asked for my money back and was told it will take 10 days. Today 8th July I am still chasing to get my money back

I had an excellent experience with Straight Aligners, and I especially want to thank Robert for his outstanding service. From the very beginning, Robert was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. He took the time to explain the aligner process clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable and confident every step of the way.

He also made scheduling appointments simple and stress-free, always being responsive and accommodating whenever I needed assistance. His attention to detail and genuine care for his patients really stood out.

Max was so helpful. Went out of his way to help. He was genuine and trustworthy and made the process so easy. Very good at what he does !! I’ve seen so many different providers and he made it very easy to pick straights. They offer something no one else does on the market.

Max was super friendly and great at answering any questions I had. He knew exactly what he was talking about and you could tell he was passionate about helping me start my treatment and ensuring I felt fully comfortable and fully informed. He also helped me with finance and payment options, really making the process stress free and easy. He has honestly made my views of the company so positive and has set me up with a positive outlook for the treatment process. Would definitely recommend straights to anyone!

Call was on time, communication was on point, very relaxed but very helpful and professional conversation. Exactly the experience that I look for in a business!

Max at straights is very knowledgeable and super helpful

The sales team are friendly and proactive; however, I found their approach quite misleading. I was promised overbite correction and a perfect smile, yet neither was fully achievable with clear aligners alone.

They also ask you to pay a deposit and sign up to a payment plan before you’ve even seen a dental professional. The decision is based entirely on photos you take yourself. While this feels convenient at the time, I regret committing to treatment before having an in-person consultation and receiving a proper clinical assessment.

My treatment was terminated because Straights breached its contract with the dental studio providing my care, which was not actually an orthodontic practice. I was offered an alternative provider 45 minutes away, which I declined because the distance was unreasonable, especially when the same treatment is available from multiple dentists just five minutes from my home.

Despite Straights terminating my treatment themselves, they initially attempted to charge me a £150 cancellation fee.

Update: Since posting this review, the customer care team have been helpful and we reached a fair resolution. The £150 fee was waived and I received a full refund. In light of this, I have revised some of the wording in my review and increased my star rating accordingly.
