Usually good service but lately items missing and my last order wrong item sent out. To be fair they refunded me straight away so good customer service but annoying when you've purchased something specific and get a totally different item. Delivery is quick and well packaged but would i use them again I'm not sure can't be doing with chasing up wrong items.

Three days of waiting in for my delivery. Each day I had a time slot which came and went again. No contact from Approved foods and tracking turned off on my delivery a minute past their latest due time. Never again there are far more reliable bargain food companies out there! I don’t have much hope of receiving my goods at all…

My second order with this company super cheap decent quality rapid dispatch and delivery time well packaged all round well happy would highly recommend to all who want to save a few quid

My order was processed quickly and arrived promptly. I think it isn't that much of a deal though. A lot of the food is not that cheap compared to retail. For example I paid £6.00 for four bottles of koppaberg dated last month. In asda its £6.90 for four. An extra 90p for assured quality. They were wrapped extremely carefully but the amount of bubble wrap was a bit wasteful. Environmental impact of food waste is largely my motivation for ordering.

They advertise as if you are saving massive amounts but I did not save £12 on products nearly a year out of date they do not hold retail value & cannot even be sold in traditional retail. Which feels dishonest.

For some reason my order came to £37.48 and my card was charged £40.48, too. Which I don't understand.

Most of products I got were over 2 and a half years out of date and went straight into bin! £1 box was rubbish, with well out of date sweets and tin of soup. £10 box of chocolates were all grey looking with aged chocolate. Won't be re-ordering! "Near or just past best before date" is not true with my products being best before June 2020 on most...nearly 3 years out of date! Who keeps stuff that long out of date?! This shop/site is not for me!

No complaints at all, arrived quickly, lucky box had many nice items. A couple of items I wont use passed on to friends. Good value for lunchbox items, put in a second order.

Please do not use this company. I recently ordered goods which were not short best before dates. 2 boxes of chocolates 23.02.22 and 2 boxes 6.6.22. When I contacted the company because I was not happy how old the goods were and to get my order credited, they wanted to charge me £8.50 for collection!!!

I read the many negative reviews but, as Approved Food had the item I wanted at the cheapest price, I decided to place an order anyway. I am certainly glad that I did, because it was a wonderful shopping experience - no fuss, no drama. Ordering from the website was simple and there were no problems with the order going through the system. Payment was secure and I got an email instantly to confirm my order had been received. I had created an account, which was already showing "Order Being Processed". Within a day I received an email telling me that my order had been picked, packed and was on its way via courier, arriving within a couple of days. I was very impressed with everything and am glad that I risked placing my order with Approved Food. I would certainly recommend them - excellent service and thank you.

Great range of products, some not available elsewhere.
If they make a mistake, it will be rectified promptly and courteously, and everything is packed and delivered with care. Sorry I didn't leave your feedback Claire, just wanted to show appreciation!

Placed an order which went out to the wrong address. Customer care went above and beyond to make sure the items arrived to me. That makes it my third order, each time I have received exactly what it says on their site.

I made an order and it charged me twice. It looked like a system error on their part as the page froze. Everything was still in my basket so I ordered and then the basket emptied. It charged me twice and two duplicate orders were made. I called them immediately and no one got back to me. I have now called, emailed and used form on their website. No one has responded.

I have to say my experience with Approved Food has been wholly positive. I placed my order on a Wednesday morning and was opening my box at 4pm Friday tea time - 2 days later. The products were well packed - slight 'bashing' to the box of Lindt Lindor chocolates but the product itself is fine. We got a lot for our £23.00 order - quite a few items had a date AFTER the date advertised on the website (some were out of date on the site, but end of Aug (so in date) when they arrived) - some were the same as on the website (none with a date before). Every product we have had has been just fine - I would challenge anyone in a blind taste test to say that they were 'out of date'.

Big bags of pasta at 10p each and dirt cheap Budweiser and then 10% off as well through Moneysavingexpert.com - what's not to like? Fill your cupboards folks - this one works!

Awful, out of date junk food for the most part. Slow delivery and poor customer service.

Avoid if you value your health. They are cheap for a reason!

Phenomenal service. Really great prices and fast delivery.
It was like Christmas when my son and I unpacked the latest box as I'd forgotten what I'd ordered and we were also dying to see what was in the lucky box. (Superb value by the way)
My two kittens looked at me gone out and asked if they were in the right house when I fed them what is normally expensive cat food for less than the usual price of supermarket's own.
Will definitely buy again. Without hesitation. Many thanks.

I ordered with no problems. The £1 box was like a lucky dip very good for a pound some out of date which I have no problems with. very surprised on what was in there chocolate crisps tea bags drinks protain drinks and more. Coffee is what I wanted and no problems
with the pads. Delivery... arrived as the time stated. Will use again

Tried to cancel my order 4 minutes after making it. Phone number went to voicemail and then also left an email. Got zero reply call back or email, just a partial PayPal refund, which is ridiculous and terrible customer service. Avoid this company

Please don't let yourself be fulled by their prices, If you don't want headaches stay away from this. Ordered 12 bottles of Vit C and received 30kg of all sorts of different products. It took them nearly 2 weeks to deliver the right products and when arrived they were all damaged so I`ve asked for a refund and they`ve charged me £8.50 to send their garbage back.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM !!!

Email from DX Express promised delivery on the 13th. No tracking number or time of delivery was given.
Despite having to go out, I waited all day for delivery. But was disappointed.
At about 10:00 am on the 15th, I answered the entry phone and told the driver that I am on the 1st floor.
I waited for 5 minutes, but nothing outside my front door. I went downstairs and found a big box outside in front of the main door, partially blocking the entrance.
I am 75 years of age and the box was too heavy for me to lift. My neighbours are also elderly and could not help.
It was two days later on Sunday, I could get help. The box was soggy from the rain. Contents had to be transferred to crates before taking upstairs.
Shoddy and inconsiderate service, from the driver in particular. A disconcerting experience.
When I complained to Approved Food Customer Service, one 'Bekha' replied saying that they can not guarantee delivery!
His reply was disappointing and no compensation for damaged items was offered.
I won't be buying them anymore.
There are other online surplus food stores to try out

I really wanted to join this. I have not even been abled to register and I have sent ten emails trying to get a fix it's a different excuse every time. I got my password to work. I don't use my house phone. I have health problems and don't want to give that number and be Inundated by sales calls. They have my email address, name, mobile number, first she accused me of not ticking capitcha, then it was me not giving my home number. And passwords. I screenshot everything I did. I can't reply to the emails my post vanishes into their post as a merge. I have swore because she won't put me to a boss and its getting annoying. 3 days I have tried and they won't help me step by step. Disgusting irritating. I wonder how customers can complain if their is problems with orders. Not looking good is it really. They do not need two phone numbers. I asked to speak to a manager my email is shrinking for some stupid reason and I can't type is it's jumping into their email can't even explain it.

I last used APPROVED FOOD IN June and there was a problem with delivery. Decided to give them another go and gosh do i regret it - again a problem with delivery just unacceptable.
