Awful Customer Service. I Have A Issue and Magically Don’t Get A Response!
Company States They Sell Best Before Products But Reassure You They Are Still Consumable And Are The Same.
Product I Bought Is Weak In Colour, Sour Taste, Does Not Taste Or Look Like A Consumable Product or Something That Should Be Sold. I Have Reached Out Twice, No Response… These Items Should Not Be Sold, Buyers Should Be Aware They Aren’t Going To Taste Or Look The Same Instead Of Being “Brainwashed” into Thinking They Are Sellable And Consumable With No Issues..

have ordered from these guys a couple of times, been really good with delivery times and produce. defo order again

I hadn't used this company since 2024 when I had problems with the delivery. 2 years on I thought I'd give them another chance. Wish I hadn't bothered. No delivery yet from ordering on 10th September. No one answers the phone or replies to their emails. Paypal only gave me a partial refund so I'm down £30.

I ordered £70 worth of stuff (2 parcels).
1 parcel went missing and had to wait 4 days for any correspondence, got sent a second parcel with half of my order missing, had to reach out again, got sent another delivery with a few items missing and alot of product destroyed and crushed.
Alot of the food i ordered was inedible and had to be binned.
100% dont recommended

I was concerned having read the negative reviews but, having placed 5 orders now, I can say with confidence that they are great. I've only had 2 products that were a bit stale (crisps) but everything else has been perfect. It's exceptional value for money and well packaged.

I like the fact that the offers change daily - keeps me looking at the site.

Delivery can take over a week (not always). So long as you take that into account, you'll be happy. It's a bit unfair that Approved Food get negative reviews because of Dpd.

I’ve used Approved food for some years now and have never had a single issue. I don’t think waiting a week is excessive. It’s often four or five days. Just happy for the bargains and saving all this going to landfill. Well packaged and every delivery makes my day! Thanks!

Been ordering from them most months. For quite a while. Only a few problems which customer service was attentive to. Not received many products that are not good to eat, when I have had stale etc. product I get asked for photos of the item and I get a refund as store credit. Xmas/Chanukah-time lucky boxes made some family members say “wow “! Once or twice other ones had that effect. Packed with goodies! My feedback to AFoods would be: change the courier. They have been too unreliable with past deliveries and their customer service has been awful. I don’t know if that’s only my experience or not. Please put refunds back as real money not store credit. Thankyou as the majority of my experiences have been great.

Fantastic was really well packaged

several orders now waiting 10 days or more and if you have not got half the items, never mind a poxy store credit, return the partial refund to my card like all other company's do. most bottled and canned drinks are not nice at all, i though its ok for crisps and chocolate but the last lot got binned, it isnt fit for purpose any more. forever out of stock because they are taking around two weeks to get orders together. 100 percent crap ! im not shopping their again. go to asda online 1 pound items several thousand to choose from for example,and all well in date. this store or i should say a ruff looking garage just a scam look at all the 3 for a tenna at iceland real tasty meats shop properly get the real deal leave this muck alone. not for me again ty!

This company needs to seriously invest in more staff. It's now over a week since I placed my order and they still haven't processed this fairly small order. I regularly get orders from China, much quicker than Approved Foods. Needs to do better.

After 2 weeks waiting for delivery I finally get told (after enquiring) that DPD have damaged the order & it cannot be replaced & I will receive a store credit.

This is nearly 150 bottles of beer, no way have they damaged every bottle, or the other items in the order unless DPD are even more incompetent than I thought, or maybe the original order was so poorly packaged it contributed to the damage?

Either way, that store credit is going where the sun don't shine!

A slow start but thanks to Claire my delivery has reached me just in time for my holiday. Thank you Claire!!!!!!

Its a good store, obviously most stuff is out of date but absolutely fine to eat, you can save some money here especially spending £60 and getting the free item plus if you buy all the mega deals and whatever else you want to make up the difference. Its hard to see how anyone can complain. 100% recommended.

Very slow processing, taking up to a week for me, but delivery times were good once things were finally on the move. The goods were out of date, but I knew that and had no problems with it. Apart from some melting chocolate, which in this heat I can’t blame them too much, everything was fine. The glass came in protective sleeves, which was a good thing.

Made my first order and not sure what to except but i surprised how well the order was packed and it was all there nothing missing just one item had few contents crushed . Over all delighted and recommend this company and saying that i will use them again and again . One drawback they have long pack & delivery window and does not send notification to customers 10/10

have received mouldy items twice now.company does absolutely nothing, so a waste of time reporting it!.won't be buying from them again.

I have used approved foods for years buying once or twice a month. While there has been the odd problem, food is packed with care and insight into the placement of many different weight items together.

Such a variety of food and great deals if you use the store for your dry goods, household and every day needs.

Always check the expiration dates and I find if it is a few months over all is well. I truly can't recommend Approved Food highly enough it has made a massive difference to my life when you consider how high street prices seem to increase by the day and bills get higher.

Delivery is now is with DPD and the lads are incredibly helpful and professional!!

So thanks very much Approved Food you really are my go to when I plan my monthly shopping. I hope you keep growing and thriving especially when people are finding money tight want tasty food and need to budget accordingly.

My recent order for Ensure Nutrivigor was delivered this week with a best before date of January 2025! The manufacturer is clear in that the product is so out of date it should not be consumed and is unfit for sale. The selling company is irresponsible in taking such a cavalier attitude.

I have been using Approved foods for a while probably about once a month to top up my store cupboard. Yes you do need to be mindful of the dates and check if they are very out of date but it is given clearly and I have got some great bargains . You also need to check the actual size as I have been caught out thinking it is full size and in fact a very small sample size but more than compensated by the prices of the other items in the box. Again now I just double check the size so not to be caught out. I also have never received anything damaged it has always been extremely well packaged and what I really like it that they use recycled paper or compostable packaging for any bottles. The other criticism raised it that you get a credit note if there are any items not available - this is my only gripe too and it should be more clearly shown when ordering and perhaps also a free postage and package given to compensate - I have in fact only had one item £2.99 as a credit note so not a big deal given them number of time I have used them. I will continue to use this store and would recommend but just be mindful of what you are buying.
