Reasonable price - very pleased with the quality of the product purchased - short delivery time - delivery driver was helpful and dropped the pallet on my driveway where i needed it - just placed a repeat order for the same product

Product was expected
Product was expected, delivery on time. Unfortunately, the stone was on a pallet that was broken, we had a lot of trouble off loading it as the pallet eventually completely split and made any movement impossible. It Eventually got left pretty much in the center of my driveway. The driver did all he could so i do not blame him. It just wasn't convenient for me.

Great service from the team at stone…
Great service from the team at stone and surfaces as usual.
But the delivery driver from pallet network was the rudest, most obnotious person, least helpful that you could possibly be. Dumped both pallets at the top of our drive blocking our cars in meaning we could get out until we had emptied both bags and move the aggregate 30m down the drive by wheelbarrow!
4 stars as the quality and service from stone and surfaces was great as always, just the unfortunate delivery driver who let the side down.

Thanks for taking the time to leave this review - and for your continued support, it’s genuinely appreciated.
Really glad to hear you’re happy with the product and the service from our side.
That said, the delivery experience you’ve described is never what we'd consider acceptable. The driver should have been helpful and made a reasonable effort with placement, not left you in a position where you were blocked in and having to move everything yourself.
We work with third-party pallet networks, but that’s not an excuse - we’ll be raising this directly with them to make sure it’s addressed properly.
Out of diligence, we'll chase the depot up and log this against the specific delivery. If you decide to come to us in the future, please do get in contact ahead of time and we'll make sure we place this on another courier or flag this up with the depot ahead of time so a different driver is used.

A very positive experience from start to finish.
This company wins hands down for the cost of the slate, as well as the amazing quality of it too. There is absolutely no compromise on that score.
Unfortunately for us, my husband was taken seriously unwell just after the order was placed. I was concerned about the delivery, but needn't have worried. The driver did his best to make sure all went well.
Family arrived to help me 2 days later & they all remarked on the great quality of the slate. It has really improved the look of our garden.
This company does send alot of information once you have ordered. It is very useful, I found it very informative too.
I don't give great reviews at a drop of a hat, only where it is well deserved, & this certainly is!

Ordered 16 pallets of riven sandstone
Ordered 16 pallets of riven sandstone. Was able to agree a good price including delivery by Moffat (forklift) which was essential for our site. Unfortunately the Moffat broke down and the delivery driver had to wait an hour and a half for another to come from Stoke on Trent to finish the offload. Paving all seems good and intact, all I've got to do is lay them now!
