Very bad customer experience.

Our stay has been cancelled without explanation, and without workaround solutions 5 days before arrivals. Very bad customer experience.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL…

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
Last year in June we booked a house in Central London from May 17th till 22nd 2023 via Booking.com managed by StayBeyond. Yesterday, so 11 days before our arrival they cancelled our reservation because the owner wants his house back. Alternatively, they offered us a house which is 6.4 km away from the original location and therefor far from central London AND this alternative house is for sale. So if we wanted to stay there we had to agree to viewings taking place during our stay. How is this an appropriate alternative? How are we supposed to relax on our vacation if strangers walk in and out of our accommodation? When we said this isn't an appropriate alternative they cancelled our booking and offered no further assistance nor are they willing to pay us any compensation for the increased costs that will now unavoidably incur to us, as costs for accommodation in London at least tripled since we made the original booking. The biggest audacity is that if we had cancelled 11 days before arrival we would have had to pay the full amount but when they cancel it has absolutely no consequences for them. I honestly do not understand how this company can legally operate. Save yourself all the stress and headaches and never book with this company. I wish I had read their Google Reviews before as they are absolutely terrible as well. This would have saved me from this scam that this company is.

This is just a joke- STAYAWAY not Beyound

This is just a joke.
The apartment had a high noise in the pipelines everytime we flushed The toilet or turned on the water.
But the worst part is That I still havent good my deposit back here after a a month ! So unprofessionel and No clue what They are doing z

The Camdem Arms - DESASTER

The Camdem Arms - Bright and Charming 2BDR Flat:
One day prior our arrival, we were adviced by email that our flat was no longer available for us to stay (for suspiscious reasons).
Difficult to reach anyone on the phone, after multiple attemps the help given was as helpfull as the cancellation email...

After being charged for the rental and the damage deposit !!! I am still wondering if i will see my money back .

RUN AWAY !!!

The Sussex Garden Retreat

The Sussex Garden Retreat - Elegant 2BDR Flat.

Once we arrived a bad onion-like smell that cannot be depicted in a picture overwhelmed us. Our daughter was on the verge of throwing up when we were in the apartment so smelly it was. We found dirty dishes in the dishwasher, the bed-sheet were overused and unironed. the whole situation was absolutely discouraging and embarrassing. We were informed that they are not willing to compensate the full amount but since it was impossible for us to stay in that place we feel that we are entitled to the whole amount so we will be seeking legal advice on the matter.

We would advise anyone to steer clear away from that place.

Two days prior to our arrival in London…

Two days prior to our arrival in London we were informed the owner was extending their stay and our reservation was canceled. It was the Bolthole property if you have a reservation. I spent an entire morning of my vacation trying to get a new reservation through another agent. And no, I received no incentive or payment for this review. Thanks a lot!

Thank you for taking the time reviewing our service, and sorry if your experience with us was not as expected. We underdstand your frustration. We totally understand how disruptive can be a last minute sudden change of plan, but I hope you can apreciate that our team tried to offer an alternative accommodation that was an upgrade in terms of property features.
Once you rejected the alternative property, we asked Booking.com to help you with relocation at no additional cost.
Unfortunately the landlord had an unforseen change of circumstance and needed to move back into the home, which was totally out of our control.

Dishonest Listing

I booked an apartment for 3 weeks through Expedia. After I booked, I received an email from StayBeyond. They said that the apartment I rented was for sale, and that they would be conducting viewings with potential buyers. Nowhere in the description of this apartment listing on Expedia did it say that this was a "for sale" property. I absolutely do not consent to have strangers in and out of the space I rented as a private apartment.

Thank you for taking the time to review our service. Unfortunately Expedia doesn't let us edit the listing description, we can only thick specific pre-made solutions they offer in their dashboard.

In October we stayed in a house in…

In October we stayed in a house in Cambridge for 5 days. We had problems from the start with no hot water. A technician came in and seemed to fix the problem but only for a couple of hours. So each day we had workmen coming into the house. On the final day they decided to fix it properly so the technician was there for 3 hours during which time the water was shut off. As the boiler was in the kitchen, each time they came, we were inconvenienced. Another issue was there was not enough clearance for the front door to open easily. With all the pulling from the inside or kicking from the outside, the door handle/lock finally broke and we were essentially locked in the house. They had to send another repairman for this issue. So our whole 5 days "holiday" was frustrating with house problems. They agreed to refund one night, a credit note was issued for 419.60GBP. They refunded 250GBP to my CC in November and since then I have been getting the run around from them to get the balance.

Staybeyond tried to kick it into the long grass!

I don't usually read 1 * reviews but am unable to convince myself to give more. The accommodation was not up to standard, to put it politely - extremely damp and stained walls and a wet carpet from an historic water leak and more... but StayBeyond's responses to our complaints were pitiful and were slower than slow; constantly having to be chased up. I use Booking.com regularly and this has been my only complaint. It won't put me off but needed noting.

Thank you for letting us stay at your property. We were 3 adults and 2 young children for 3 days. The property was clean and just as advertised. The space was great and comfortable. The location was excellent for accessibility to parks and attractions. We had very good and detailed communication from the hosts, providing all the details needed.
The house was very warm, helpful in winter. The digital entry key needs a little bit of attention and time to work out, but it all works very well.
Thank you for the stay.

We stayed in a lovely flat in Pembridge…

We stayed in a lovely flat in Pembridge Gardens in Notting Hill.
Really well equipped, spotlessly clean and in the most perfect location. As stated just a 2 minute walk from the TubeStation.
We came in on the Oxford Tube bus due to a train strike . The drop off point was a less than 5 minute walk to the apartment.
Couldn’t recommend this property more and would most definitely stay there again,

LOCKED IN APARTMENT NO CONCERN FOR SAFETY, NO HOT WATER, BROKEN TV WASHING MACHINE AND VERY DIRTY FLAT

Please do yourself a favor and read the reviews of this company do not ever book with them and see what they put there customers through. THEY CANCEL ON YOU - LEFT US LOCKED IN APARTMENT and worst customer service ever and the photos of houses are all deceiving. This is the list of what went wrong on our first 2 nights:
1. Keyless door technology which didn’t work and we were locked in our apartment for 2 days which is ILLEGAL and a fire hazard. Not to mention we couldn’t go out and actually enjoy our holiday.

2. No hot water - TV is broken - no Wifi and closet is broken.

3. Customer service do not answer and you speak to someone different every time.

I am still waiting for someone to come and fix these issues with no timeline or confirmation. Absolute waste of time on holiday.

I am glad our team opened the door first thing in the morning after you reported the issue, and we resolved most of the other difficulties reported within 48h of them being reported.

We are waiting on the washing machine specialist to confirm when it can be serviced. As the issue requires a specialist and not a generic handyman, the resolution time sometimes can be a little longer. We apreciate your patience while we get this fixed.

We are reviewing your compensation request, but we would like to be sure we have resolved all the issues before we agree on an amount, as we want to be sure we include all the issues in our calculation.
